Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

The 25% off is on ALL clearance items right now until I think mid July. It will ring up automatically long as the item ends with eight cents or the occasional double zero cents.

I just want to confirm that the .00 items are NOT considered clearance for the extra 25% off. I tried scanning some $5.00 games and none of them took the clearance discount. They're still eligible for the B1G1/2 though (2 for $7.50).
 
Hm, odd. I've had some luck with games that are marked from 9.98 to 5.00 before. I Guess they changed the system now or something.

I really want in on this cuz I've been wanting :360: The Saboteur, and I know it priced dropped to $20 but didn't realize toysrus put it on clearance, unless that poster was mistaken. I'll check out my toysrus today and report back.

Great Empires Rome - $7.48
Dawn of Discovery* - $3.74


was going to buy DAWN for 9.49 on amazon last week so that is like paying 2.50 for rome


If anyone wants to pick up 2 games for 12 and get some money back quick.

AMazon is paying 7.00 for great empires rome for the DS .... would be like getting the 2nd game for 5.00

or buy 2 copies and flip for 2 bucks LOL

Was thinking of running back out and getting

another copy of rome to flip to amazon for 7 and OUR HOUSE DS it would push house to 5

but dont feel like doing it ... too bad there wasnt more good games for 7.48 that i could team up with OUR HOUSE

Yeah, I've been looking for a good deal on Dawn of Discovery for Wii and DS for awhile now and am glad to have found them both at TRU with this deal going on.
 
Went to my TRU and saw nothing but shovelware. I looked around for the silver PS2 that was supposed to be on clearance but didn't find one. Dang!
 
I swung by TRU after work and picked up the following:

:wii: The Conduit
:wii: Data East Arcade Classic
:wii: Boom Blox Bash Party
:360: Stoked
:360: In the Movies bundle

All the games were eligible for the 25% off clearance and B1G1 50% off so the total was ~$55 + tax. I love when TRU stacks promos :D
 
dont waste your time in fort wayne.. seems someone cleared them out... someone asked me to go pick up a copy of Dawn of Discovery for them...

they are all gone (was 8 left at 1030am) and all of the romes are gone as well (12 left)

nothing but junk left


was going to get OUR HOUSE + castlevainia for the psp but didnt think they were worth 6 each

This was Stoked. Also, I wanted to comment that there was only 1 or 2 signs posted in that department, which happen to be only in the PS3 section, advertising this B1G1 50% sale, but lots of signs advertising the 25% off clearance sale. This explains why this store wasn't cleaned out, yet.

I did see :360: Lips#1 bundle for $40.98 and :ps3: Soul Calibur 4 for $15.98 or $16.98.

Hey, is Dawn of Discovery for the DS any good? I thought about buying that, too.

Picked up X360 Dead to Rights: Retribution and PS3 Prince of Persia for $43.84 total, taking advantage of the clearance, my employee discount, and a Rewards Bucks coupons! Pretty decent!

Haha, gimme a break, I just thought it was a good deal. To make it up to you, and only you, I'll look through the clearance on Wednesday and try to make a comprehensive list of what I see.

Dead to Rights was $37.48 after the 25% and Prince of Persia was $12.73.
 
Stopped by the more ghetto TrU on my way home from work; nearly didn't go as the last few times I was in the store the game section was a disaster-- poorly stocked, in totally random order, no price tags on anything, etc. I was pretty shocked to see they had totally stocked up, had everything in (mostly) alphabetic order, anything on clearance (I think) had a price tag, etc. Good experience.

Found my obligatory collection of Wii shovelware:

Marble Saga Kororinpa $12.73 (this makes up for me missing it on Target clearance for around that price)
Rygar $6.36 (stacked promos)
Data East Arcade Classics $12.73
Medieval Games $5.99 (stacked promos)

(all games were $16.98 except Medieval Games was $15.98)

I'm aware these aren't exactly setting the Wii world on fire but I was pretty happy with the pickup for $37+tax. I did notice both the TrUs I was at had about 75% Wii/DS clearance with maybe another 15% PSP and the rest the VERY scattered 360/PS3 clearance. Not sure if those games just sold out fast, or if they never had the stock of them.

If that one and my store are any indication, that's about standard. PS3 stocks of games at all the price points are paltry compared to the other systems. We in particular still haven't gotten any more copies of Arkham Asylum for the PS3 since we sold out in January. Surprised you didn't have more 360 clearance, though, as we have a good bit. As I've said, more to come on that.
 
Went to TRU yesterday, didn't even know about the extra 25% off clearance, I was just there for the BOGO50% off. Picked up Assassins Creed (Platinum Hits) at the reg 19.99 and Riddick: Dark Athena on clearance for $16.98 - 25% - 50% = $6.36. I didn't see Riddick mentioned in the thread so I figured I better. Nothing else of merit for either deal other than those things at my local TRU.

It wasn't on clearance at my TRU. If it was, I would have picked it up.
 
I picked up Klonoa (Wii), and F.E.A.R. 2 (Xbox 360) at the Roseville, CA TRU. Both were on clearance for $18.98, so after the discounts one game was $14.23, and the other was $7.11.

Yeah, but at mine it is. Just the 360 version, though. That, Metro 2033, and X-Blades randomly are on clearance for like $49.98 so with the 25% off it goes down to $37.48.

Actually, it probably was, it just wasn't marked properly. Unfortunately, it's not a great game.
 
Picked up Saboteur (PS3) and Dawn of Discovery for the DS.

Saboteur was $18.98 before the deal.
Dawn of Discovery was $8.98

Ended up with both for $18 something after tax. Very happy with that deal.

I went to Toys R us in Calexico, CA to buy a soccer ball, and by pure chance i saw the clearance sale, and i looked for decent games.

Grabbed Sabotuer and due to a lack of other decent sub $15 game got Quantum of Solace $23 after tax. First time my TRU a clearance item exsisted!

Wait, so you got a triple stack? Like two sub $20 Playstation games with the 25% off clearance, the B1G140% and the B1G150%? What games would even qualify for all three?
 
Did anyone notice that the $5.00 games do not get a 25% off clearance discount?

I picked up :psp: Blokus and :psp: Silent Hill:Origens, but these rung up as $5 and $2.50 respectively. It would have been even better if these also were discounted 25%.

Yeah I had that happen on Sunday, it doesn't make sense since $5.00 items are clearance and the signs usually say clearance is anything that ends in a 0 or 8.

All three of the games got the initial 25% off.

The two PS3 games qualified for the B1 Get 40% off

the reciept has the PS3 games B1 get 1 50% off

Rocket Slime $7.48
The Saboteur $14.23
Red Faction $7.11

So all said and done with taxes $30.29 for me today. Rocket Slime was kind of an impulse buy and im not sure if I want it lol.

Clash of Heroes for the DS was $20.30 after tax at my TRU. This is the only thing I really wanted and will actually play in the near future. Not exactly a steal- but I've never found a dirt cheap price on this title so I went for it.

Saboteur and Red Faction Guerrilla were tempting at $16 or so but I don't know when I'd get around to playing them...if ever.

Must resist...cheap games...
 
Mine had a strange number of games on clearance. Some of the new ones. ME2, Nier, Alan Wake. They all had price labeled printed.

I wanted Prinny, but it's gone.

Metroid Prime Trilogy was $40 and got 25% discount for clearance so ended up being $30.
RR was $20 but it made the Conduit $7.50 after 25%off and b1g1 50%. Not a bad deal.

How much was the conduit since it was on clearance by itself and where there anymore copies left and what toys r us was this at if u don't mind me asking?
 
I picked up Dragon Quest V (FINALLY!) and Prinny (deluxe version) for $22-ish and $18-ish each. I looked for a long time for another PSP/PS2/PS3 game to combine with Prinny but couldn't find anything.

Damn, I wish I could find Prime Trilogy for that price.

I noticed my TRU had a Arkham Asylum CE for $70... I wonder how long until they clearance that.
