Hey Gamers !! I know it's been noted on a few other threads, but I wanted to personally confirm that the game deals are LIVE IN STORE!! After reading what others have said, I decided to take a chance since I'm only 5 mins away. Of course YMMV !!
I walked over to the electronics dept, (which surprisingly wasn't busy), asked the lady for XCOM Enemy Unknown for Xbox 360....(all prepared to play dumb if it rang up at $60)....but it rang up at $25.00 !! Plus tax it came to $27.33.
I didn't need anything else, since I racked up earlier in the day via Amazon & will be heading to the MS Store tonight. (@ 20min drive from my home)
Plus I couldn't find anyone that has lowered XCOM under $35 other than Walmart. I'm in Tempe, AZ....& all the games are still in the cases marked as they normally would be.
Take a chance if you like.....but I can't stress enough YMMV !!!

Game on everyone !!!
No luck mostly in Monrovia CA store. Most BF games have been put away. Borderland 2 and Little Big Planets 2 are a few that I noticed that are still behind glass cases.
got back from walmart in west covina with horizons for 15 bucks. (may have been the last one) most games were behind the case as usual with normal tags. asked for the game and chatted with the associate saying how it's thanks giving and wanted to get this game to play while having a day off. then acted all surprised when it rang up at the bf price.
they had most of the games in stock as it's a brand new wallmart and not a lot of people know about it. 2 story one in the eastland center.

had a buddy visit the west covina store on azusa ave and he said they had pulled all black friday items

this is i sgv so cal at around 12:30-1pm pst. i know monrovia isn't too far away from here

my walmart on san jose blvd in jacksonville the plastic wrap was all around everything. they didn't have The complete edition of L.a. noire. fail

Live in Florida City Florida, and also non game items as well. Snagged everything we wanted, and walked out as people were waiting and growling at eachother, heh. Thanks guys!
My guess is no. I had some items from the sale in my cart waiting for 8PM. All them were removed and now the items say in store only.
walmart.com seems to be a completely distinct company compared to the Walmart stores. Often you see a game on the website for a different price than it is in store and vice versa. Its not like a Best Buy that has the same price in both places. I have been told by walmart numerous times at a couple different stores that they will not even match the online price of thier won website. Other may have different stories but this is my experience for what its worth.
Walmart was a success. Saved over $200, but there was no PS3 darksiders for $10 and PS3 LA Noire Complete Collection for $10.
If anyone managed to grab any of these games and needs Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition for the Xbox 360, I'm your guy.

If you have both of them, I'm willing to trade them for Red Dead Redemption GOTY + $5, or if you have one, you pay me $5 OR if you want Dishonored or XCOM, you trade me both and $10.
This was in Washington, Renton Store.
i feel that they should have limited this to one per customer. personally i would have cleaned out my local store but i'm far too lazy to offload them on ebay, cag, craigslist, etc.
there are also much better ways to make money. this is too time consuming

I second this.
asked this a few pages, simple reply is all I'm looking for. Does anyone know or have any idea if these sales will be online at all. I would greatly appreciate a respone from anyone. Thanks in advance.
You missed a lot of those chances. This morning when I looked, I bought Forza for pickup in store. This afternoon, games that I know WERE the sale price online were not any more. Neither was Forza Horizon, when that is what I bought for $15 this morning...

Got Borderlands 2 and Battlefield 3 right out of the glass case during my lunch break. I was the only employee (that I know of) that knew about the price mix ups. CAG wins again this year.
for anyone who has priced matched max payne 3, what did you print out (since the physical ad i got in the mail did not specifically list it)?
The Thursday day k mart sales were in yesterday's paper. I didn't have it either. Pulled it up on my phone.

Picked up 2 copies of WWE 13 (one as a gift), Ratchet & Clank HD Collection and Borderlands 2. The games were in a little set up in the middle of the aisle with an "Available Thursday at 8pm" sign. I just picked them up and went through self-checkout. Even had to get an associate to clear it because of age-verification. No problems. (Spokane, WA)

That game isn't worth much, there is no way he would profit from ebaying. Still douchey but i'm guessing he just wanted to trade.
Did anybody pick up dead Island for $10 today?
Why would you when best buy has it for 7.99 GotY?

got about 1 copy of every main game (borderlands2,xcom,madden,ncaa,mohwf,nfsmw,bf3prem,fifa,tekkentt2,legobatman2) for xbox and ps3 and some dance central/fable/blu rays on sale, got 3 bags of games and couple movies for $740

No lines in Rockford, IL. Went in for God of War Saga and got right out. Kinda wanted Forza too but decided to leave it and spend less than $20 this black Friday.

I spent $65 which is outstanding for me...considering the last few years I spent 4-500 easily by this time. Rent, car payment, and student loans now = a conservative zero.

Went to the Crenshaw Walmart in Los Angeles... most games were wrapped up but I asked for a copy of Borderlands 2 behind the glass. The guy goes "you're not gonna wait for the sale tonight?" so I stupidly said "people on the internet are saying you can get the games discounted early".

Yeah, after that he wouldn't even open up the case. Shoulda just played dumb or thought of something else to say.

Also, the people in this thread buying tons of copies to sell/hoard make me sick. I'm sure at Halloween, when someone left a pumpkin filled with candy on their front step, you'd just pour it all into your bag and walk away laughing, eh?

lol, get over yourself
lol, get over yourself
If you want a game to enjoy yourself, go ahead. When you decide to buy 30 copies of WWE 13, well that means some kid who wanted it for Christmas doesn't get it because the store sold out early when his father went Black Friday shopping.

Success in Champaign, IL. Picked up BF3:premium, Forza Horizon, and NBA 2K13 all for Xbox 360 for $70.xx. No lines, no massive crowds of people, couldn't imagine a smoother shopping experience.

But some kid will get it from his dad.

From ebay...

For double the price...

But the kid doesn't know where his dad got it from, so in the end all is well that ends well.

I'm allowed my opinion. Nobody told you to have a problem with me, buddy.

You're the one responding to my post, so why don't you get over it?

The Walmart closest to me had all the games that are on sale sealed in plastic, except for a lone copy of Borderlands 2 (PS3). Oh well. Don't like Walmart anyways, so I guess I'll probably just pay $10 more and pick up the games I want from GameStop (NFS Most Wanted, and Dishonored which I'm still not entirely sure about, so maybe $5 more). Would rather GameStop get my money than Walmart...

Except if the dad is feeling the affects of the economy and decides to get his kid a used copy of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City instead of shelling out $60 for WWE 13.

Came back with Lego Batman 2 at the sale price of $15, but LA Noire: Complete still rang up at $30. There was only one copy in the case, so I am hoping they had already pulled it I'm going to be ticked off. X360 in Charlottesville, VA.

Well, I replied because I was sharing my opinion as well, and now that your argument has been nullified you'll play possum by pretending you didn't do the same thing with my post.

What if the flipper needs the extra money he'd get from flipping to get his kids what they wanted for Christmas and without it he wouldn't be able to afford it?

Then in the end his little kids are happy while someone else's is not, so it balances out.

Plenty of other posters here have shared my opinion that black friday video game hoarding is selfish and wrong.

It's not illegal, so have fun doing it, but watch out for karma. What goes around comes around.

I'd suggest he find a job other than video game flipping to support his family.

No go at Saratoga springs UT location. Games coming in on pallets and under guard. There will be a queue with employees asking what you want and handing them to you. Very small amount of games at this point but told more coming. Not hopeful for GoW saga, only 4 in the pallet that was out.

Very dumb question (sorry for having to ask):

Does anyone price match BF ads? I thought Target did last year. Pretty sure Best Buy doesn't.

Thanks in advance.
