Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Thanks!

No luck on the television set. Asked three different employees and got the same bunk responses (they're not here, they're not in the back room, they're not on the truck outside, etc). Well, your web site seems to think they're here. Your app seems to think they're here. So what's up? If it were just Brickseek telling me that they were in stock I'd let it go, but Wal-Mart's own online resources are telling me that they're here. Either revise your inventory or cough up the goods.

Like every store anywhere, inventory levels may be miscounted, lost in the store (not all items have locations), stolen, etc. Don't blame the employee when you're looking for an item that was already being bought out weeks ago.

Well managed to get a couple of 3 cents games tonight. Found a copy of Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii and a couple of just cheap replacement case games.  Had a interesting experience at the self check out.  After i had paid for the games the lady had come over to verify my receipt and saw i only paid 2.xx for the games and a thing of toothpaste.  She insanely started to say i didn't pay for the games because of the price like i was trying to steal them.  I politely  told her to read the receipt i had showing the 5 games that i had just paid.  She still said it wasn't right and took my receipt and games up to customer service which i was going laugh my ass off if they were going to force me to return them.  Lucky after like 5 mins one of the head managers came over and said it was fine as she knew the 3 cent price can happen as the stores use that price to clearance out old games.  Just though it was interesting that they seemed to think i was trying to steal from the store.

Like I said, if the inventory's not there, adjust your records accordingly. No sense in leading on your customers.

I picked up the legend of korra 3ds game for 3 cents today. Is there a list of these .03 games?  That was my first gaming find at walmart in a while.  The walmarts in my area almost never have these game deals.

I was lucky and got one of the laptops with a 1TB hard drive and a back pack.  It has been working well as a work laptop.

Armed with a full tank of gas and the scanner app, a friend and I hit it up 6 Wallmarts in the outer Philly area. Mostly, worth the trip, but I'm sure we missed alot.

Managed to grab for .03:

Legend of Korra (x5)

Sonic Lost World (x4)

Zone of the Enders HD

Yoshi Wooly World with a pink Amibo

Also grabbed:

$3:

Some One Piece game (my friend got it, don't remember the title)

$6 each:

Yo-kai Watch 2 Both versions

$7 each:

Resident Evil 7

Battlefield 1

$10 each:

Final Fantasy XV

Mario Party 10 with Bowser Amibo

Mortal Kombat Ps3 with Kratos

Titanfall 2

Speaking of the .30 cent games, each employee gave us shit, but every manager they called over allowed the games to be sold.

Brickseek showed a goldmine of games at the Boyertown store, but an employee confirmed that everything went back to claims earlier today.

Yes, it does. Now, there are some folks who would tell you that it does not have a wide enough color gamut, but it does have HDR. My Xbox and PS tell me so.
Ok. I'm just going by the specificatoins at Best Buy's website where it says "HDR: NO" Thanks for the updated info.

EDIT: I did some digging and Rtings says both the Samsung and LG TVs being discussed here have HDR10 support. The 40" Samsung is rated better than the 49" LG at pretty much everything.

The $0.03 games I’ve been able to grab from the three Walmart’s I’ve visited this week...one had a whole stack of Steel Divers, but they were behind the glass and I was in a hurry, so I didn’t ask the dude to grab them for me. Also couldn’t find the Vizio 32” sound bar even though that store supposedly had 3 in stock...and neither the app nor website are giving me the option for in-store pickup for some of these clearance electronics, like the sound bar, the Samsung smart TV and others. The app shows them with “limited stock” and for the correct price, but I never get an option to select in-store pickup for one of those items...very strange.

That must mean it switched to site-to-store and not store pickup. Unless there is more than 1 in stock, you usually can't do pickup whag they have currently.

Yeah the app says "$79 pickup Thursday, Feb 8th" but when I add to cart it goes to $379
That means it isn't at the store so they can't give you the clearance price. They will ship it to that store for the online price instead since it won't be directly from the store.

You can only get clearance prices for items that are ready for pickup that day.

My Walmart has all the .03 cent games you guys posted but the games are all locked up in behind the window with a notice sheet attached to it. The thing is the electronic department is a ghost town for me. No employee in site to help me out with the games I want. Oh well.

There's a store about 55 miles from me that has the PSVR with GT sport for $150, out of stock but could do a return/rebuy as there are a ton locally at $300.

Tempted, but ehh I dunno. I have a Vive so I don't necessarily need a PSVR but that's a crazy good deal.

Just picked up a few .03 cent games...
X360 Castlevania LOS 2
PS3 Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
PS3 Persona 4 Arena

Store showed 8 OH of Professor Layton Last Spectre but they were no where to be found 😔

I tried to buy the 49 in LG on Monday. A local Walmart said they had 3 in stock. I get there and they said it's not there and it's been an error for weeks. Long story short I was supposed to get a call back between 1 to 3 business days from the store manager. That never happened. What a shock right? So I'm going to call customer service in the morning. They had it for $328 according to the customer service supervisor I spoke with on the phone and he acknowledged that they're supposed to be 3 in stock at that store but not the $169 like brickseek showed. Now brickseek has it down to $79 and my local Walmart still says it has 3 in stock.

Any advice on what to do next? I am getting pretty bad customer service from Walmart and the fact the store manager never called me are putting things in my favor and I will report back what happens.

Mine is showing up for $79 with store pickup on that Samsung but when I go to order it's $327...how do you guys get it for $79?
I get the opposite all the time, they'll show in stock on Brickseek or even in stock at that store online and won't be able to get the Brickseek price to show up or do same day in store pickup.

A $35 Star Wars First order Lego set has brickseek showing four stores within about 15 miles of me having more than one of them in stock. No matter which store I enter them into at checkout, it does not give me the $35 price even though brickseek says there is more than one in stock at $35. One of them is super close so do I just go to that store and use the app to see how much it is or just ring it up and hope that it's $35?

Just got back from a store that showed 4 in stock. Struck out completely.

Thanks ihadmail you did the lords work.

Are there any TV stands or computer desk deals? There was a decent little stand for like $35 back in October, but I didn’t bite because plasmas are so heavy.

Which scanner app?

Also where are y'all flipping all the three cent games, just riding out eBay?

This is great man, just what I was hoping someone would do.

I haven't noticed any furniture marked as clearance in any of the stores I've been in. I will try to kill some time searching around once I get caught up with my unified post.

Jurai I've taken all of my .03 games to Best Buy. I can walk in with a massive stack of 3 of each game and they just think it's funny I've found them all for .03 I did give one of the service department employees a Wii plus remote that came with a game as she commented hers were all old and crappy.

Really depends, i am not in a rush dump some of them. I did take a copy of Kirby Epic Yarn and Metroid Other M to my local disc replay and got around $9. Was also looking taking a couple games to Half Price books to see what they may offer. A handful of the games i am just sitting on them as spare replacement cases.

Half priced books is worse than gamestop when it comes to buying from you... best part is they will look up every item up on Ebay and price it that way to sell it in store....

this is definitely true, but they have screwed up a price multiple times and I have definitely come out the victor.

Saw my Wal-Mart got the Samsung tv in stock. Picked one up for $79

A couple of questions for those of you who picked up the $79 Samsung. Are they returned items or all brand new? Someone here said they were pleasantly surprised it was packaged so well for being a return or something. I see 99% of the stores in my area have them at full price, so I'm wondering if these are just returned TV's.

Do these TV's have ALL the streaming apps, like FX, etc? It's kinda hard to tell but it looks like the "Samsung Smart Hub" only started with the 6300 series, meaning all the TV apps are available on the TV's app store. This TV is the last of the 6200 series. I don't think this TV has that "Smart Hub", only the main TV apps like Netflix and Hulu that come with being designated as a "Smart TV". But it would be nice to get some confirmation.

The store supervisor at the Wal-Mart with the TV error was supposed to call me between 1-3 business days to work out a solution and never did so now the ticket is escalated and I am waiting to hear from the Market supervisor. Terrible customer service for sure at my local Wal-Mart. The supervisor on the phone said the store manager flat out ignored the email sent to him to contact me.

I had planned on surprising my sister with a new TV for the Superbowl but that's not going to happen now. Has anyone here had this bad customer service at Wal-Mart before?  Has a store manager supposed to have called you and never did?  I am now wondering if the Market Supervisor will call me.
