Excellent choices, especially Panic Lift. Money well spent.

Panic Lift and genCab were blind purchases. Glad to hear your vote of confidence :D

Also I emailed the shop about the shipping and they said they'd refund the difference over actual shipping cost.

Which is pretty awesome :D

Hive Records released a genCAB/Panic Lift split remix EP last summer but the DL link seems to be dead. Sharing it was encouraged so I could probably find someplace to upload it, if you're interested.

Whoop, two CDs just came in, Hideous and Perfect, and Nurse Grenade from Angelspit. Reviewing Hideous and Perfect for my school paper... need to get the review finished soon.

Should be coming in anyday in the mail, but...

KMFDM: Adios
Combichrist: What The F*ck Is Wrong With You People?
Ministry: Rio Grande Blood (digipack edition)
Ministry: Filth Pig
The Haunted: One Kill Wonder
Johnny Truant: No Tears For The Creatures

I'm kinda curious how it is as well...

I'm loving it so far. Really solid album, reminds me of some KMFDM stuff, since the male vocals gained more power with this album, leveling it out a bit like Lucia did for KMFDM.

They Might Be Giants: Here Comes Science

The Protomen: Act II

Still waiting for them to come in the mail, but I'm really excited for both.

Is it wrong that I haven't even heard of most of the bands you guys are posting? lol. Is it indie stuff or what?

I bought: Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins

A Day To Remember-Homesick
Emmure-The Respect Issue
The Devil Wears Prada-With Roots above and branches below
Set Your Goals-This will be the Death of us

Finally got a big Matador order that I've been waiting, like, a month and a half to receive:

Yo La Tengo - Popular Songs (2xLP)
Yo La Tengo - Adventureland OST (LP)
The New Pornographers - Electric Version (LP)
The New Pornographers - Myriad Harbour b/w Fugue State (7")
Pavement - Brighten The Corners: Nicene Creedence Ed. (4xLP)

I was totally pumped as I was opening the shipment, but then I realized that, since I recently moved and didn't bring any of my stereo equipment with me, I don't have any way to play them right now. And that sucks, because Popular Songs is the shit.

Hopefully soon I'll have a new system that puts my old setup to shame....

Jeff Loomis- Zero Order Phase

Big fan but never liked Nevermore (stupid me right? ) so I'm happy he made a solo album. Just finished listening to it.

Terry Reid - Seed of Memory.

Interesting fact, he was the original choice for the lead singer of Led Zeppelin but turned it down and told Jimmy Page to recruit Robert Plant instead. Then the guy turned down a chance to be the lead singer for Deep Purple. Man, that guy must be kicking himself. He's a great musician, but probably 0.5% of this thread even knows who he is.

Wheat - White Ink, Black Ink

Bought this yesterday, and it is not only the first cd I've paid for in about 3 years, but also my first full mp3 album purchased and downloaded online, because I bought something from amazon and they gave me a $5 mp3 credit. Full-album-for-$5 win!
Blueprint 3 (Amazon has it for $3.99!)
Thanks for that lmz00.

Jay-Z - The Blueprint 3 (Couldn't pass on that price.)

Bad Brains - Omega Sessions 10'' Vinyl EP (The Purple Vinyl)
You can add me to the OB4CL2 owners, too. Haven't finished listening to it, but what I've heard is pretty great so far.
Anyone else had their OB4CL2 CD's scratch themselves?... I'm on my third copy, the other two were ruined just by playing the disc... and it's not the player, my other CDs haven't been harmed.
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...Part II

My first Raekwon album actually. I'm more a casual hip hop listener.
go pick up part 1 then!
Silverchair - Frogstomp

Can't believe I hadn't heard of this band before.

Also, Silversun Pickups - Carnavas
Awesome pick up. Found my copy of it not too long ago.

What!?!?!?!? $3.99? Thats a steal!

My have to return my copy to best buy and order from amazon

Otep Smash the Control Machine and I have to say I really like it. I plan on picking up the new kittie CD this week or next.

Muse - The Resistance
I don't love it.

Listened to the new Brand New CD, Daisy, on the Playnetwork at work today and I was really impressed. That's a must buy for me on Tuesday.

Yeah, the new Muse feels good, but no where on par with their last few albums. Despite all this, I've noticed being a fan of Muse is always a good way to strike a conversation with females.

I'm always wary of that since most of them know them thanks to Twilight and those girls are... well, no good.
