Living Colour - The Chair in the Doorway
Monster of Folk - digital download on Amazon.com

Also on its way to me is the Lost Highway soundtrack.

weird. Never seen anything like it. Is it just some special edition?

fun. - Aim and Ignite
Phish - Joy Silent War (Amazon 50/$5)
The Arcade Fire - Funeral (my old one got crushed/cracked/obliterated)

Along Came A Spider - Alice Cooper, it's interesting. I don't think it's as good musically as his previous two albums, but it's very ambitious.
Did anyone buy Pearl Jam Backspacer Deluxe edition at Target? It has an awesome case and only $12. I might get it if reviews are good.
I bought Backspacer from pearljam.com and it came in a hard bound book. It is awesome. Pics HERE.

the book is SO close to exactly what you get at target, cept for the fact it's about an inch shorter and will actually fit on a CD shelf... my Target copy won't just like the Ten re-issue...

The last CD I bought was No Doubt The Greatest Hits back in December of 2003. From 1998-December 2001 I bought around 150 cd's. I then went 2 years without buying any until 2003. 6 years and counting since I last bought a cd. I have bought about two hundred dollars worth of individual songs off of Amazon and Itunes in the last 2 years though.

The Dead Weather: Horehound
One of my favorite albums of 2009. What do you think of it?

The Flaming Lips - Embryonic
My Morning Jacket - Z
My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges

I just got it in today, and have yet to listen to it.

I too bought Embryonic today. I did listen to that though, and it's pretty fucking great.

Editors - In This Light and On This Morning
She Wants Revenge - Up and Down [EP]
C/A/T - The Great Crisis
Mesh - Only Better [EP]
Cesium 137 - Identity
Covenant - Bullet [EP]

Pelican - The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw
Blaqk Audio - Cex Cells
Skeletonwitch - Breathing the Fire (LP)
Lucero - 1372 Overton Park (iTunes)

And I got all that free Mojo Nixon stuff from Amazon mp3, too.

Every Mother's Nightmare- Wake Up Screaming. Used on Amazon marketplace. A waste of money... the sound quality on the retail CD is worse than the low bitrate MP3s I found.

There are a couple I might have to buy used, as I can't find them in MP3 format. Trudy Lynn and such, guess piraters don't listen to anything that isn't top 40 or mainstream.

I stopped buying retail CDs long ago. $16 for 1 or 2 good songs. I also got sick of the places that bought used CDs giving a quarter for them. Though it's always amazed me that people will pay $16 for a new CD but not $5 for a used one, given used CD racks are always full. It was a money loss to buy stuff that wasn't that good to begin with.

I haven't bought a new retail CD since maybe 2005.

Also picked up Baroness - Blue Record Deluxe, excellent stuff. Planning to pick up the vinyl when that comes out.

Ruiner - Hell Is Empty
Strike Anywhere - Iron Front
Have Heart - Songs To Scream At The Sun / The Things We Carry
H2O - Nothing To Prove
fucked Up - The Chemistry of Common Life
Testament - The Legacy / The New Order / Practice What You Preach / The Formation of Damnation
Red Fang - S/T
Teenage Bottlerocket - They Came From The Shadows
Rodrigo y Gabriela - S/T / 11:11 / Live In Japan
Fugazi - The Argument / Red Medicine
