Picked up V and VI.

Hoping for one last good sale before the year ends, would be nice to have a holiday new year's sale before DDP ends.

Some great sales just went up. Knocked a few things off my wish list. (namely Little Inferno and Art of Balance)

Steamworld Dig is 50% off as well for those who have yet to pick that up. It's a fantastic game, so do so now.

Master Reboot is down from $14.99 to $4.99. For those who have played it, worth the price? Steep discount is tempting, but I'm not generally a fan of first person or horror games, but if it's good enough I'm willing to try something different.

so instead of doing a weekly deal of 5-10 games, they do 1 daily game for the week? Nintendo, you must really we're dumb dumb dumb.
There were 20 games that went on sale this week spread out over four days, where the start date is decided by the publishers. I'm not sure what's so bad about that.

Is it reasonable to be annoyed that 1001 Spikes is on sale for 3DS, but not Wii U? Hoping to take advantage of the DDP one more time but I need more sales. (Also Child of Light half off on PSN but not eShop?, dammit.)

I need halp guys, i got 40 in eshop and not sure to get either Captain Toad or get Batman Arkham Origins and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Toad looks nice but i dunno 40 seems a bit too high for that.

I would love a GBA sale this week.

Also, does anyone know what the difference is between Super Metroid on Wii U and transferring it from my Wii? Is there any differences at all performance wise? For example, Wii version can't be played on tablet or has weird ratio/resolution?

The Wii version cannot be played on the Wii U controller at all. You would need to use a classic controller, and it would need to be played on your TV. The Wii U version can be played with any number of controllers, and can also be played off-screen on the tablet controller. I believe if you transfer the Wii version to the Wii U, the Wii U version can be had for $1. Not sure if that promotion still applies.

$1.50. The Wii U version also has remappable buttons and a save state.

Did anyone mention that Duck Hunt will be releasing on Christmas? Can't wait to buy it and play for 5 minutes before moving on to something else (like much of my VC purchases)!

Unless you're really committed to digital purchases, Origins has been on clearance at Best Buy for awhile now for less than $20 (i think i saw it for $13?). I say save your eshop money for games you can only purchase digital (Shantae) or that will go for MSRP for a long time (Toad).

Yea Toad looks fun but i've been using the pro controller and i dont like using the gamepad at all now.

#WiiUProblems

It's going on sale in the EU eshop (with a number of other Ubisoft titles), so there may be hope yet.
Yeah, I noticed this morning that Child of Light is 66% off. EU updates Mondays but we'll have to wait until Thursday to see if it's on sale. Just goes to show that complaining works.

Some sales going on right now-

[Wii U] Darksiders II - $7.99 thru 1/6 (was $39.99)
[Wii U] Jeopardy! - $7.99 thru 1/6 (was $39.99)
[Wii U] Wheel of Fortune - $7.99 thru 1/6 (was $39.99)

Damn't Frisky, I assume if you post "Metroid Fusion for $3.99" then Nintendo HAS to comply with it. PLEASE do that for all the GBA games. I have Christmas cookies for you.

Here are the new deals for today:

Darksiders II - $7.99 - 80% Off - Ends 1/6/15

Jeopardy - $7.99 - 80% Off - Ends 1/6/15

Wheel of Fortune - $7.99 - 80% Off - Ends 1/6/15

We've got one week left for DDP, so I'm hoping we get some good deals with tomorrow's updates.

It doesn't look like there will be an update on 1/1, but Chariot, Maze, and Wipeout 3 are out on 1/8.

What I really want for Xmas is a sale on Curve Digital games.
Although I'll settle for the Ubisoft sale EU got.

Most devs must be knowing that the DDP is ending and there are heaps of people trying to get some last minute purchases in before it does so. Now is the perfect time for a sale.

That is a great price on darksiders 2. I dont think it has been lower. Plus it gets you 60 coins on club nintendo. In my to-do list it came up as costume quest 2 for 20 coins but when I clicked on it it brought me to the darksiders 2 one that gave me 60 coins. Kind of strange but a great deal for $8 and I am that much closer to my next $5 code.

Wheel is a great price if you enjoy playing it. Though for some reason they didn't program sound to come out of the GamePad.

Picked up:
RUSH
EDGE
Toki Tori
Toki Tori 2+
Stick it to the Man
Knytt Underground

Which put me at exactly enough for my next, and presumably last, DDP code. Strange, but cool.

Anyone buy Duck Hunt and is it troo that you can turn off the cross heirs with the d-pad?

There are sales on Mondays and Tuesdays as well so I'm planning on waiting to see if there are any updates then.
Good call. I'll wait it out. I'm $22.50 away from my next-and-I-guess-last code, so maybe I'll grab Pushmo World and finish upgrading all my old Wii VC games if no great sales come up.

damn turned on my wii u for the first time in 1 month, let it do all its updates, and now I just get error 160-0103 for pretty much every game I run.  I guess it means my wii u has bad flash ram, but its a bit suspicious that its worked fine for six months and it all started right after the latest system update.  Guess I'll be calling Nintendo tomorrow to do an RMA, but that means no SSMB group play for christmas night :(

anyone else who bought a refurb wii u get the error?
