Toki Tori 2 is a great puzzle game that is set in the structure of a Metroid-style game, so yeah, it's not going to do anything for people that want something like Metroid.

Meh, if you want to play it, just do the craps-shoot, and try it.  Take a chance, make mistakes, GET MESSY!

Here's hoping for a good update tomorrow
It's guaranteed to be better just because Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, and New Leaf are confirmed. Should get something Kirby, Star Fox, and Pac-Man too so unless everything's discounted 5% there's no way it can be as bad as this week's.

Tropical Freeze is mine tomorrow!  Please... $29.99 for that one!  New Leaf as well if it's $19.99. I already have the physical version but I'm honestly tired of dealing with a cartridge for this one. I've always wanted this one digitally, but not at $34.99. If it's $19.99 tomorrow, it's mine. Transfer my save file over and I guess give the cartridge version to my niece or wait for a decent trade. Also hoping the two new Kirby: Triple Deluxe mini-games to go on sale. What.. $4.49 each? That would be nice!

Meanwhile, at Nintendo...

Based on what they've done so far I would expect $35 at the lowest but $30 could be possible for DKTF based on the percentage range they've done for discounts. New Leaf almost certainly will be $20 since the 3DS titles have all been $10 off. I kind of think that the Kirby title is going to be one of the Virtual Console games since both Triple Deluxe and the spin-off mini games are likely too recent. Guessing Star Fox 64 3D since it's the only one in the series available digitally that's on 3DS or WiiU and not the Wii VC. That will probably be $30 though with the pattern they've established (it's $40 on the eShop still).

I guess Tropical Freeze could be $30 today (discounts top out at 40%, and that would fit).  I'll have to strongly consider it, but that's probably all I'll be looking at this week.  Already beat Pikmin on a rental, I'll need a much bigger discount to buy it now.

DK Tropical Freeze - $29.99
Pikmin 3 - $39.99
Donkey Kong (NES) - $3.49
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror - $4.99
Donkey Kong Jr. - $3.49
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures - $11.99

Kirby's Dreamland 3 is also on sale, but I don't know how much.

Dreamland 3 is $4.98

I'm in for Tropical Freeze and both Kirby games I think.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that they went down to $30 for DKTF.

Kirby's Dreamland 3 is a great game if you don't already have it.

I'm in for at least DK:TF. It's worth $30, right?
The only problem is its a big DL size so if you just have the space that you got with the Deluxe you might need to clear some things out

Hell yeah DKTF at $30.

One of my favorite games of 2014, definitely in my top 3 given the major disappointments this year. Best platformer on the system in my opinion.

I don't have either so I'm curious, what are the differences, and what makes Blast better?
Rumble U was designed with the physical figures in mind to take advantage of the Skylanders success and to show off the Wii U's abilities. Without the figures the game loses a lot. Feels kinda like playing the Pokemon Stadium games without using your own Pokemon.

Ahh, okay. Thanks a ton!

FYI Tropical Freeze currently trades in to Best Buy for $27 for anyone looking to convert to digital. While I hate Nintendo's digital distribution, I do like having less stuff.

Edit: 11GB? Dang. Will need to contemplate this.

Looks like I got my wish on DKC:TF, at $29.99! lol. 40% off, which is very nice! :D. Downloaded it a few hours ago after getting off work and it estimated around 100 minutes to download and like less than a minute for the update data. Very pleased! :D.

I'm definitely in for the digital version of AC:NL and possibly both versions of the Pac-Man games, depending on how gameplay looks to me. Maybe Kirby and the Amazing Mirror as well, even though I already have it as part of the Ambassador Program.

These GBA ports look great on an HDTV. I have no idea how Nintendo did it, but they look simply amazing, considering they were made with 2.9 inch screens in mind.

No need for the other Kirby games, as I already have Dream Collection. All set on the rest.

Owned the disc version of Tropical Freeze and really didnt like it for some reason. Platformers aren't really my thing but I had just really enjoyed playing through New Super Mario Bros U like a week before trying TF. Even my Fiance who loved the older DK Country games couldnt get into it. Wondering if we should have just given it more time before judging but dont think I wanna go digital.

On the other hand I just started Pikmin, which I got during the MK8 promo and its pretty fun so far, even though I havent played for very long at all.

So, no one with a basic wii u can download DKCRTF?  If that's true, then fuck you nintendo for designing the Wii U to not be able to download games unless it can be downloaded internally first.

You just need external storage, like an external hard drive or a thumb drive.

See, every time I try downloading something to my external drive, it says "you don't have enough space in the internal memory"

Mine does that for some games on my Deluxe, but Tropical Freeze didn't do that for me. That's more the result of Nintendo's dumb store not being able to reliably realize how much space external storage has.
