Yeah, I believe battery life and cost were the reasons they kept giving before eventually coming out with the SP. That after market kit (was it called Afterburner) pretty much dispelled those claims though. Still missing the original GBA since we started talking about it.

Not to excuse The Letter for being bad, but this article helps explain why it is the way it is.
I don't blame the guy for wanting to have his game published. I blame Nintendo for letting unfinished software on the eshop. I can't picture "The Letter" making it onto Xbox live arcade or PSN. I'm really surprised at the big N's lack of standards.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is delayed and coming out next week instead of today. Today is Harmony of Dissonance.

Is Harmony easier than Circle of The Moon and how is it? I never played it, might just grab all 3 Castlevania games anyway.

Harmony is the black sheep of the GBA games IMO. Confusing map system and sprawling "double" castle makes it so easy to get lost that I've lost my patience with it on numerous attempts to play through. Not worth $8.

The first Hyrule Warriors dlc also came out today and the free villain update as well in case anyone was waiting for that.

Curious about Squid's Odyssey. With the sale it is basically the Europe buy one get the other free (would probably only get one though). Gravity Badgers looks like Angry Badgers a little bit, but then so does squid's odyssey, but much less so.

How is SteamWorld Dig? Worth it for the price?
It looks interesting, the trailer for it on the eShop is pretty bad though.

If you're doing all the secret stuff there is quite a bit of challenge.
Believe me, I've completed all the tasks, but there was no "challenge" to it. I never died in the game, nor did I ever have to think about how to beat the end boss. For that matter, there really was only 1 boss in the game at the end. There are few (maybe even no) memorable puzzles in the game either. I'm not saying that the game is bad, in fact, I said it's worth playing, but there are more challenging games out there to be played. If you define challenging as time consuming, then yes.. It took me almost 15 hours to complete all tasks and beat the game. If you dont do everything, you can finish the game in 8-10 hours.

I know most of this generation's gamers frown on difficulty so with that, this game is on par with their expectations. For those like myself who grew up with frustrating controls and pixelated graphics and 5-10 tries to beat a boss (not to mention god awful passwords as a method to save), it's a walk in the park.

Kinda sad! Nintendo should sale Digital Copy $10 cheaper instead the same price at Physical copy.  I still refer physical copy.  Ten Years from now everything is digital.

I had Super Mario Advance back in the day. I can't imagine there's a good reason to buy it now since I have VC copies of Mario 2 and the original. I'm not forgetting something special that makes this release worthwhile am I? Just trying to understand Nintendos thought process in porting it. I realize that's not the best thing to do with my time.

Is it too late to pre-order the Mario Kart DLCs together for the combined price?  For some reason, I always have difficulty using Wi-Fi to long onto the Nintendo E-Shop for Wii U.

Shouldn't be and the discounted bundle with the same contents at the same price should be available even after it's released.

The Smash Bros. pre-load is a nice touch, because yeah, big old download.

I hope they do some pre-orders for other upcoming games before year's end. I'd love to grab Yoshi's Wooly World, for example, before the Digital Deluxe Promotion goes away.

Just got around to playing the MK8 DLC and it's well worth the money. Link's still a but out of place but well made and the courses are really outstanding.
