Dishonored is really tempting me at $10 but I won't play it for a while cause of backlog. Anybody here think it's worth the price/will go lower in the next few months? And is any of the DLC worth getting?

Xbox One pricing... Based on my understanding of the ID program that Microsoft is rolling out the Indie folks will be setting their own prices. This would cover the type of games on the 360 that are Arcade as well as Indie. Technically all publishers can set their prices up to the $60 limit.

The bigger issue I have is that it appears that there is no longer a mandatory demo required. Also, there doesn't appear to be any other limit on size except the 50G and technically that is a system limit for all games.

They were clear about this though... Games are Games on the Xbox One. no limits or special treatment. No sure it really benefits the gamer in the end though, we shall see.

All of them are well worth it? If they are, I will get them all, but if any are just 'meh', I will be a little happy to skip it.
i thought it was all worth it. Here's the rundown.

Void walkers arsenal: an upgrade pack that allows you to equip more bone charms and gives you several new ones. Makes the game a lot easier if you can find a good combo.

Dunwall city trials: these are challenge maps. Nothing special, but they are fun if you enjoyed the game.

The other 2 dlcs are story related and basically double the amount of gameplay.

Microsoft could've still easily kept the XBLA and Games on Demand labels for games that are available digitally without gimping them or any special treatment of the actual games.

I actually liked the XBLA label.  Can't really explain why, it just felt like a fun thing.

I'm real curious how Games on Gold will work for the X1.  For instance, when will it start and what will they give for free?  I'm guessing Crimson Dragon or Lococycle, due to the poor reviews and probably slow sales.  I'd gladly take either.  Or, I wonder if they'll use the promotion to switch up the free character in KI.  That'd be completely lame, but I could see that happening.

Microsoft will probably wait until E3 to talk about Games with Gold for Xbox One and could potentially launch the first game that same day for maximum effect.

The lack of demos on xbox one for me is the biggest disappointment so far.

I also hope we are still getting weekly deals...
I'm a huge advocate of demos, but others have convinced me how harmful they actually can be. It gives impulse buyers a chance to test games out for themselves. Better to just have them buy on impulse. Unless your game is of the absolute highest quality, it's very possible that your game will sell better without a demo.

As for deals, I think there's no doubt that Xbox 360 will still be getting weekly deals. No way Xbox One starts getting weekly sales any time soon.

I'm interested to see as well. But can you imagine if XBLIG were grouped with XBLA and Games on Demand on the 360. Nobody would ever have any desire to browse the store becuase the XBLIG would just take up all the space.

I bet the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine dlc will be on sale during the "BF Sale" next week since the dlc was recently adjusted for $4.99 instead of an even $5.

This is my exact case. I'm thinking by the time I get to it, the GOTY edition will be around 15-20 buckaroos and I remember reading the DLC with it is disc and not code. Of course if that's wrong, somebody please let me know.

From what I've read the GOTY edition DLC is on a second disc. And I'm leaning towards waiting for that version to drop in price myself.

In the meantime, I'm considering picking up an original Xbox copy of Soul Calibur 2 instead of SC II HD Online. I'm a little annoyed by the idea of bad netcode in a game with the word "Online" so prominently in the title. Besides, you can get copies dirt cheap and it upscales nicely on 360 as long as you're okay with it not being widescreen.

On December 30 seven Rock Band songs will be removed. They might be removed earlier from the console marketplaces, but the 30th is when Harmonix is scheduled to take the songs down from the in-game store.

Crooked X - "Gone"
Naked Brothers Band - "Body I Occupy"
Naked Brothers Band - " I Don't Want To Go To School"
Scars on Broadway - "They Say"
System of a Down - "B.Y.O.B."
System of a Down - "Toxicity"
Tokio Hotel - "Ready, Set, Go!"

The songs are $1 each.

Thanks a million. I couldn't care less about those songs in particular, but I really appreciate you spreading the word about any deletions from the RB DLC catalog. There are a bunch of songs I'm hoping will go on sale at some point, but I'm also worried they'll be removed when I'm not paying attention!

Can't wait to find out what sort of sale will happen on Black Friday...I hope it is massive covering every publisher/genre.
Me too!

Here's hoping The Walking Dead episodes go on sale for a good price or something else that's good.

P.S. What do you think the next two G4G will be? Take any guess?

I remember when we used to get Risk Faction on sale at least once a month. I hope it goes on sale this time maybe ill buy it. :whistle2:

Hoping to see some Xbox One content, (I know it just came out, but I'm hopeful), make it to the sales. A deal on Forza 5 car packs would be nice.

I think I missed out on last year's Black Friday deals. Where they any good?
I seem to remember that the POST Christmas sales were much better (in terms of digital).

I don't even remember their digital Black Friday sales(?). Although that might have been because I didn't even pay attention to them... due to spending a bunch of money on physical games and other non-gaming stuff on during black Friday week.

Oh and Mark of the Ninja DLC I bought day one and all I can say is hardcore fans only need apply. You get one level that is supposed to be a prequel, but won't give any huge revelations and the commentary for levels is all text based. Otherwise the new outfit (nonlethal only knocks people unconscious, no kills) and new sidearm weapons aren't anything too memorable.

I already have The Cave on WiiU and Pc. Still tempted to grab it at that price.

Also, I can't see the price because I've already bought it, but does it show the expansions for skyrim on sale? my mom has been waiting for them to get cheap.

Saaaaaale!!!!!

Awesome some good stuff already.
Bardockkon-but it's at least worth the price of admission now right?! That's the price of a 20oz of soda, surely a good deal

Well so far this Black Friday sale is pretty lame in my opinion. Im sure there are some games people want from this sale but nothing for me so far.
