yeah, but like I said more Saints is a good thing, if you into the series. More gameplay for that price is a good deal. I just hope Saints V goes back to gang fights. I miss that the most from the series.
From what they've said, they don't plan to go back to that sort of thing unless it fits with the story they wrote, but they know fans miss warring factions.

So, just season passes today? Was hoping for something for a game I have. Ghosts, while not great, would've been nice for a season pass. Hope they step up for the last day, and put up some actual arcade games or DLC.

Yeah. Its not gonna make sense going from being the president and fighting an alien warlord to fighting a meth maker named Walter Black or some dumb/funny character the Devs can make.

Well, depending on what ending you run off, be it the end to SR IV (either) or the DLC, they have like 4 paths of possible continuity to take, some involving completely new PLANETS. So...

For anyone hoping, the COD season pass is never going to go on sale. It already sells extremely well, so activision and microsoft have no reason to discount it. It didn't (or hasn't) happened with black ops 2, and it probabally wont happen with ghosts.

I didn't plan on buying anything from these sales. Ended up getting Brothers, Charlie Murder, Peggle, Plants vs Zombies, SSX, State of Decay, and The Wolf Among Us + Season Pass.

You got more stuff than I did. I'm still on the fence about Charlie Murder so any opinions on it? I'm most likely playing it solo so I don't know if that changes anything.

is more stuff supposed to go on sale for Monday, or are the season passes Monday's sale? slightly confused, what time do the deals usually switch over
Season passes are the Monday sale. The Monday sale is live and the Sunday sale may run as long as noon eastern but I wouldn't chance it.

If the ending to SR IV is any indication, I don't think they'll be going back to gang fight territory. I'd actually be kind of disappointed if they did...

I'm really looking forward to having Jane Austen and other historical figures fighting by my side. SR V is set up to be insane.

I guess I can't decide whether I should get State of Decay or just play Dead Island, which I already have. The tone and tempo sound a bit similar, although of course they are very different games. Then there's Dead Rising 3 which will start getting cheaper. Always loved the idea of State of Decay, but it's not discounted enough for me to impulse buy it and then not play it.

I miss the Metacritic links. No matter, good job thread do'ers!

does the Skyrim DLC go on sale usually? I really wanna get all three. I know on BF they were discounted heavily but I missed out due to unforeseen circumstances.

This might be the most polarizing game ever. I've read so much love, and hate for it.

I just fired up the demo. Time to decide.
Ok, after playing it (State of Decay) ...it's bad. I don't think I would play it if it was free. The controls are clunky the pop in is annoying, the environment is pretty ugly, the UI is ugly and hard to read. The map is confusing.

I admire what they were trying to do, but this feels like an alpha build of a game still needing a ton of work. Even the video that plays when you try to exit the demo was choppy as hell. It's dissapointing.

While I too think that would be fantastic, If you played How The Saints Saved Christmas, I think that's the idea behind that particular reference at the end there. I could be off, and hope I am, but It's very clearly at least a nod to it.

It would've been better if the devs gave us multiplayer. Feels like they ditched the game.

Any other opinions on the Metro: Last Light season pass content?  I've seen a couple mixed opinions on previous pages and am on the fence with getting this.

Also does it still come with discount for Liberation?
For a limited time only, all players that purchase or have already purchased the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed® IV Black Flag™ on Xbox 360 will receive 25% off their purchase of Assassin's Creed Liberation HD.

I would say jump on it fast while you still can, it is worth that $10 hands down.

So you played the DEMO and are making the judgement that the game sucks? It could be the fact that the demo was never updated since the release, while the main game was. All the things you listed like the map, controls, and UI are just not true after a while, there is a learning curve, once you get into it OMG is it amazing.

I watched the giantbomb video. It looks interesting. It looks like something I would like. At the same time, it looks like something that would stress me out with the scarce resources, the action continuing when you're on the menu, and the action continuing while you're not playing stuff.

it's definitely not for everyone

It is a zombie survival game that is truly focused on survival. It is really unforgiving, and makes you actually be cautious instead of "Durrr zombies, CHARGE HAHAHAHA!" You can doorcheck zombies while driving... That right there is glorious. It is $9.99 and the resources don't really hurt anything, you can't move to a better base without enough of some, and you cant get certain upgrades, but for the most part if you do some time actually going out for resource runs, maybe a few times a play through, you can really stock up on them.

I was always under the impression that XBL Arcade demos are the full game, and if you select "Buy full version" it downloads nothing but an unlock key. I know they used to be that way. The demo was 1.8 gigs btw.

Does anyone know if I am able to obtain eternal sonata for 3 bucks using a trial code for xbox live?

I don't want to waste money on xbox live on my account.

Do people trade one month codes here? and would it still be counted as a trial or not?

Well if anything you never got out of the tutorial area then, although I am not sure where the demo ends. The first starting section is truly just a tutorial area where you do "most things" once or so. After the first hour or two is when you REALLY get into it. If you are expecting a FPS, move on, this is a slow paced, survival game, where you need to manage resources, and they really feel valuable. When you find one really nice gun, oh man it feels good.

It doesn't do anything particularly SPECTACULARLY but what it DOES do, it either is bearable, or does it very very well.

Trial codes give you access to online and party chat nothing else really. No access to sale prices and the like.

One month codes work for the sales, trial codes do not. I hear there is a thread for trading and giving away codes.

Yeah I am looking into it, sucks that it ends today.

I am trying to fill up the 320 gig memory that I got lol, to have a lot of the great xbox 360 games digitally. :)

Sucks that it ends today, might have to fork up some of my amazon credit lol.

I would get it for 1/2 price because the good pieces of content cost as much or more than the discounted price.

I definetly wasn't expecting a shooter. I love slower paced western RPGs where you collect items, complete quests, manage your inventory, ect. I'm currently playing Oblivion again.

I really want to know what other CAGs that bought it think of it. To each his own I guess. I didn't mean to offend anyone who does really like it.

Not offended at all, I (and the others who thoroughly enjoy the game) experienced the same things you complained about, and wanted to tell you that you actually won't mind those parts one bit. Essentially if the game had zero bugs it would probably be GOTY. The bugs hinder the game, but the real focus of the game comes through and makes up for all the failings.

State of Decay is pretty good, even though it's unpolished. You guys should jump on the demo, they give you 30 minutes to mess around and if i remember correctly, half of the map is unlocked.

Main problem for me was how easy it is. Zombie hordes are really small and rarely you are put in big danger.

I've read in the first post thah Black Flag's season pass (on sale today ^^ ) is cross buy: since i'm not at home i would buy the season pass on the website (so the 360 version), could i have any problems since i have only the xboxONE version of the game?

Search hasn't really turned up what I was looking for, but what's the minimum amount one can add to their "wallet"? I wanted to pick up Eternal Sonata but I only have about $2.50 left.

Thanks for any help.

If you have a payment method saved you can just pay the difference. Otherwise, a $5 code from Amazon is the smallest increment you can add.

Grabbed the Last Light season pass...now I just have to beat 2033.

If you have a Payment option attached to your account (credit card) you can use the amount you have in Microsoft account, and it will ask if you want to pay the difference with your card. Not sure thats what you mean, but hope that helps?

I think that's probably half-true. I mainly and almost exclusively buy XBLA games, and its always been that the trial is restricted in some way, or in rare cases their own order of levels different from the full game, thus making the trial versions actual different versions. About updates, I think the trial versions do get updated too, as long as your online and accept it. But in terms of size, yeah the trial and full versions are always the same so if you buy after you try it looks like you're just unlocking the full game you had downloaded already.

I think the most infamous trial is Tony Hawk, haha. I think that trial probably cost the game a lot sales. It was only one minute in warehouse (tiny map). Surely that cant be the same amount of data as the full game, but I think they keep it the same size to make it easier and less confusing, and also quicker.

Yeah, that was more or less it. Mostly was just wondering if there was something similar to the $5 minimum that PSN has.

This is true, I bought it last night on my 360, then fired up the x1. You have to find the ac4 season pass in the game store and it should state "install". I then loaded up the game and installed the 4-5 dlc season pass items available. This is easier than finding them separately in the store. Even at only 25% off this is a great deal for the content as ac4 is far superior to all previous titles in the series. Just when AC3 burned me they must have been polishing up this gem at the same time.

I'll bite on the Metro LL season pass, since I plan to get the game when it drops or go on sale. Still waiting for Saints Row 3 GonD to be on sale.
