Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Man this is gonna be the third week in a row that non gold members get snubbed
So get a year sub any of the number of times that it's been $30? I play zero MP and have years of both PS+ and Gold saved up from various sales because the value of the free games and additional sale savings are greater than the cost of the sub. If you don't buy enough to make even that worthwhile then you really can't complain that much. MS primary directive is clearly getting people to sub to Gold because it's almost entirely profit and games and hardware are low profit or losses.

cool to see people so excited for the me dlc. played me2 for like an hour never saw the appeal
Same here i played about 2 hours of the first one and was bored of it

maybe if i give the series another try i may enjoy it but mass effect is just boring to me

I sold my disc copy of The Orange Box a few weeks ago with the assumption it would be on sale here again. I'm glad I wasn't wrong.

XBLDB is starting to update.  GRID Autosport is down to $20.99 from $49.99 and Amazing Spider-Man 2 is $19.99 from $49.99, both gold.

Update on Killer Instinct season 2.

"Speaking of the returning pugilist, he will become playable tomorrow as part of an early access program for the game’s upcoming second season. Purchasing the next round of content early will allow you to play around with the boxer before season two’s official release; remember, owning season one will net you a 10% discount on the sophomore effort by Iron Galaxy Studios."

I think this deal lasts for about a week, then you'll have to wait until the official release date to buy if you missed it.
Double sweet. Wasn't aware of a discount for owning season 1. Showed up as $40 when I looked earlier. I'll check back tomorrow.

Hmmm, I have Fuse on disc and enjoyed the demo. Might have to open my wallet for this.

Syndicate sounds familiar. I might have it on PS3, but what do you guys think of this game?

If there's no sale on the Mass Effect games, then I have no interest in the DLC. Besides, I still have ME1 in my backlog.

by my calculations, if you do NOT own ANY DLC for Mass Effect 2 and 3. it will STILL cost around $50 (unless you scored tons of space bucks during the Tyrant Unleashed fiasco, then its free) do i spend my fake Space Bucks on all the DLC this week?   mmmmmmmhhhh

My Gold expired a month ago. I'm not pleased that last week and this week's sales, which are the first I've been interested in since the summer sale, have been COMPLETELY gold exclusive. So frustrating.
I know, I'm loaded with Gold Trial codes that will last for years. And I don't feel like activating my gold gold membership codes since GwG aint offering nothing worthwhile for me, ..and now this gold exclusive sale again, bullshit : /

Is it Leviathan or From Ashes that adds a new character?

EDIT: Syndicate is 75% ($4.99)
From Ashes. It sucks cause its really day 1 DLC that should have been in the base game but at $5 you might as well add it.

And if you're even the slightest ME fan, buy Citadel this week. Hell, I bought at full price on release and it was worth every penny. Amazing.

cool to see people so excited for the me dlc. played me2 for like an hour never saw the appeal
I had the same experience with Mass Effect 1. After that part (about an hour into the game) where the red lights start flashing and you have to wait a few weeks to get a new 360, I never gave it a solid chance again.

Mass effect is a game you have to start at 1. You get used to your character that way. That way you have more of an emotional tie to the characters and decisions. People who started on 2 or 3 its just not the same. Its also hard to say start at 1 as 1 is a bit different from 2 & 3

The fact that this Mass Effect DLC is on sale means that EA will announce an HD collection for current gen systems with ALL DLC in 3... 2... 1...

Who am I kidding, I'm still buying all the stuff I don't have cause god knows if it will ever go on sale again. You win EA... You win...

I'm surprised people still held on to their copies of ME 2 and 3. I finished, sold and moved on from those games a long time ago. Y'all got a lot of patience. lol
I'll be hanging onto my copies as long as I have a 360 in the house. My favorite game series on the xbox, and up there with Kotor, WoW, Dragon Age, and Borderlands as some of my favorite games of all time.

I started at 2 since I played the games on the PS3. The last one I played was the first game for the Xbox 360 (before it came to the PS3). It actually made me appreciate the first the game the most, as it offers so much more. I really like exploring the world with the Mako and the full customization, even down to the armor, that my teammates wear. Even the ability to use all of the powers of my teammates, instead of everything requiring a cooldown period if one thing was used, was more fun and practical.

I also was able to follow the story with little issue; the digital Genesis comic explained enough.

Doesn't the trilogy set have all the DLC included on disc?

EDIT: Did a search. Turns out the PS3 version is the only one with most of the DLC included on disc. I guess that's due to the fact bluray's can hold more data.

Wait what? It has some of the DLC on disc? Never heard about this. Hope it's not the same stuff I bought on PSN when it was on sale a couple months back.

I wonder if the PS4/XB1 versions will have the DLC included whenever they wind up coming out.

If there's no sale on the Mass Effect games, then I have no interest in the DLC. Besides, I still have ME1 in my backlog.
That's the wrong attitude to have if you think there's the SLIGHTEST chance of you wanting the DLC.

I have been waiting For this DLC to go on sale since early 2011. Every Monday night I check to see if Mass Effect 2 DLC is on sale. And for 3 and a half years I've been disappointed. I know I missed out at least once when I didn't have an internet connection during a deal, and that sucked.

Right before checking this week I thought to myself this might be the last time I check because I use my 360 less now than ever before. Sure glad I did check though!

how about NOT gold exclusive?
Microsoft believe that if you do not have Xbox Gold that you must live on a submarine, meaning you are either a Bond Villain or a Beatle, and thus are up to more important things than waiting for sales.

A guy from Zynga told me so.

Finally.

No, the 360 version comes with no DLC on disk except possibly Mass Effect 1 "Bring Down the Sky".
Only the Platinum Hits version of Mass Effect comes with the Bring Down the Sky DLC, but it's on a second disc. The Xbox 360 Trilogy includes no DLC. The PS3 trilogy includes most of the DLC for 2, but this was because it release later than the Xbox version, and was the first entry into the series, so it was done to help increase interest. Mass Effect for the PS3 includes "all" DLC for the first game, in that it includes Bring Down the Sky for free, but completely lacks Pinnacle Station entirely due to issues with the system running that DLC.

In that way, the PS3 is a more complete version (along with offering the extra DLC skins - though some require purchases - that were exclusive to promotions), and only needs three discs to be played.

I guess I'm in the 1% that hasn't tried any of the ME games.  They just never appealed to me. (never been a big RPG fan outside of Fallout 3)

I have ME2 and 3 just because of the steelbooks.

I'm not convinced. I'm sure it will be on sale for less next month.

2 and 3 are really just TPCS with chat room sequences between the shooting.

From Ashes. It sucks cause its really day 1 DLC that should have been in the base game but at $5 you might as well add it.

And if you're even the slightest ME fan, buy Citadel this week. Hell, I bought at full price on release and it was worth every penny. Amazing.
I bought Citadel the last time it went on sale (although I haven't played it yet).

I'll probably pick up Kasumi and From Ashes then. Already have Shadow Broker and Overlord and I'm not interested in Arrival at all.

I own the god for 1 and the special edition for 3 and haven't touched either. It's insane. I've slowed down my purchases but the backlog grows. ?..i need to rethink my life.

But first i need to grab the monkey island games so i don't regret missing the sale...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, hilarious!

Do you not remember who the publisher is?
You do know it actually does include DLC, right?

Yep. Follow the link above and scroll down shows what DLC is included for which platforms.

I wish MS also include weapons and skins pack too, I have all the story DLC of all three ME games, but other DLC costs way too much for the stuff you are getting. guess I will remain waiting for the DA2 Mark of the Assassin and DAO discounts.

At least you intend to play them at some point! That's better than me who just got them for the steelies.
