If you're into the Arkham games, go for it. They literally shoehorn the whole Arkham experience as best they can in a 2.5D game with mixed results (at best). Really if you're in it for Metroidvania style gaming you're better off with Guacamelee or Shadow Complex as this game is no where near that level. Though also for $5...you can do worse.

Where do you live and where did you buy your XBone? I'd just take it back to where I bought it and request a replacement and save the hassle of going through Microsoft or dealing with them direct. If you've been sold a lemon by a retailer they have the obligation to replace or repair it for you. Basically as far as I can see it they sold you an item promising that it would do things that it isn't able to do - that's a breach of every consumer law I've ever come across in my lifetime. Let them replace it with a new one and they can deal with Microsoft and sending it back to them. If I was you I'd stand my ground and try to get a new machine (personally I think it's ridiculous when they only offer to repair as you forked out probably $400-500 for a machine and due to the luck of the draw you're going to end up getting a refurbished model, which is unfair as had you known you would have never paid full price for it in the first place).

Only 25% off for Outlast is a pretty big disappointment. The game is a year old at this point and was free on PS+ way back in January. At $10 I would instantly bite.

We technically don't have Black Fridays or anything. However, lately stores have been doing Black Friday sales (although they're not that good) on the American Black Friday to discourage shoppers from going across the border to shop.

 
I think "Brown Thursday" will end up replacing "Black Friday". I wonder how early places will be opening this year.

I won't be surprised if they have a Walking Dead sale since the new season started last night.

Yeah Black Friday is kinda silly considering more and more places are doing their sales on Thanksgiving now.

As a retail employee Thanksgiving no longer even exists to me. At least years ago I could still eat Thanksgiving food then sleep for a few hours before Blackfriday. Now my work has to serve me Thanksgiving food lol.

Whats up with the 360 deals? Are they going that much later now?

I wont be surprised if one day stores decide to start sales on thanksgiving midnight. I even heard that a certain store is starting black friday sales thursday at 600pm.
 
I'm just excited that indict have to travel for Thanksgiving. I'm hoping that Wal Mart makes their good prices live early like they have the last 2 years. That makes for some easy Black Friday/Thursday shopping.
 
Been waiting forever I just want the Dragon Age 2 dlc to go on sale so I can finally start it up.  Finished Origins recently and absolutely loved it.

Thanks for the feedback, but I decided to hold off. Seems bound to end up free on GWG or PS+ eventually.

I know this isn't the place really. But just so people do know it is free right now over Origin if you want a PC version too (and yes Origin . . . EA . . . etc, but it's free and the PC version is a bit better if you prefer playing that way).

Yeah, my wife works retail and they are opening at 6pm Thanksgiving. It had always been just super early Friday morning, then a couple years ago they started opening at midnight... no doubt it will just move back 24 hours and just be all day Thanksgiving sooner than later. I always thought it was nice to have a few holidays a year where almost everything is shut down but I think Christmas is all that's left. I'm old and remember when the city shut down for Easter. >_>

Two years ago my Target opened for Black Friday at 8:00pm Thursday night. It was great. When I went Friday morning to buy the half-off MSP cards the place was empty.

 
picked up dragon age origins. $3.75, couldn't resist. I think one of the dragon age 2 dlc's is on sale. it said $3.50 on the screen but bumped to $7 at checkout. Must be slow tp update tonight.

However I'd rather play Xbox version for achievements. Sadly isn't on X1 and my 360 is going to be touched less than Wii U by the end of the year

I played it on both when it came out and the PC you can pull back farther for combat for a sort of over head view but I don't think it made it any better and it's so much more suited to the console and controller in my opinion (and is obviously what it was designed for). But free is free.
