Thats good they fixed more stuff. I might grab it again on sale at best buy next week. Id really just like a Halo 1 playlist. It was a pretty terrible launch.

On the whole, I agree with you.

But I love the Pins' section. I have my digital games there, YouTube, Twitch, Amazon Prime, my TV input.... Its like this wall of fun things I can do whenever I want, each one tantalizing me with possibilities....and like the best multiple choice question, there are no wrong answers.

yeah same, maybe I'm just too used to ps4 but it takes me forever to do basic shit on the xbox one like deleting an installed game. Maybe with a kinect its a lot better, but with just a controller... ugh.

its also lame that you can't eject a disc with the controller, have to get up and walk over to the console and press the button, like some sort of savage

I Didn't think it was possible to make a store interface more pain in the ass than Sony's, but the XBox One proved me wrong! That and making a puchase and everytime taking you to the games and apps app or whatever instead of back to the marketplace is such a pain. That and just overall the interface feels like they were literally tossing shit at a wall to see what sticks.

On the plus side I like making achievement pics. into your background. Otherwise, meh.

This happens with all the vault games.

In multiple posts people have been easily predicting the next vault game as it's pretty much been by release date and/or popularity sans titanfall.
 
Works great with and was designed for Kinect :)

I was not happy with TWD season 2 on X1. Had about the same, if not more, problems as 360 season 1.

This is obviously not the final version. They are already just about to the critical point with the store without having some ability to filter it down (by alphabet would be the most likely first option to be added). I'm sure they've got a team working on a revamp.

Of course from experience with the 360, that team is likely to make it worse before it gets better. :)

They should just go the PSN route and make the web store the only way worth shopping.

This is obviously not the final version. They are already just about to the critical point with the store without having some ability to filter it down (by alphabet would be the most likely first option to be added). I'm sure they've got a team working on a revamp.

Of course from experience with the 360, that team is likely to make it worse before it gets better. :)

Yeah, a filter would be nice - I get tired of always seeing the Destiny, music stuff, and Shadow of Mordor for the first few pages of the 'add-on' page. At least by date added.

Never have understood controller causing the disc to eject.

 
because the disc slots are kinda hidden away when the systems are close to the ground, its easy pulling out a disc and putting in a new one (the old one acts as a location guide) but trying to find the button can be a pain when you don't remember where exactly it is

I was pretty stoked I won a copy, wanted to pick that game up at some point anyways! Just played like an hour of it, really great game, easily would have been worth the $5 they are asking for. It's got a grip on me though, I wanna keep doing just one more and getting a new high score!

But yeah, it was a fun stream and I'll definitely check out your future streams as well. Cool to see some of the people from around here in the chat :)

Yeah man, same here, first time viewer but it was a fun chat. Definitely will tune in again, I love watching and chatting to other gamers on Twitch, can find some great communities there.

Surprised they are still handing out refunds this late, and sorry the game didn't work out for you.

Me and my friend can get into a lot of matches straight with under 40 seconds start time. We got into to 20+ straight matches in SWAT. However when we added another friend in it it did take awhile to find a game whcih was remedied by all of us re-starting the MCC.

Single player worked fine for us outside of not giving us credit for one mission in Halo 4, and the Warthog at like 30fps in Halo 1 Anniversary.

It's so odd seeing one person having terrible luck with this game and the other not. I'm sure the game will get better down the road considering 343 delayed Spartan Strike aka their mobile game and I've heard nothing on Spartan Ops, so I'm assuming they are still aiming for 1-2 patches a week. I'd say right now It's in Beta stage vs being in Alpha when it launched lol. (the MP I'm speaking of of course)

Yeah, far improved now. It was never as broken as some people said for me, but it did have problems. Now as long as I search any mode but Big Team I can find matches in acceptable times. I'm also surprised they are still handing out refunds since I wouldn't really call it "broken" anymore, since it's at least passable now haha

I legitimately have only played 4-5 matches since release, due to the inability to get into a match. I gave it a fair chance, but yesterday was the last straw. I waited for an hour out of pure determination, and got nothing. Maybe being in Maine has something to do with it? Maybe I need a better connection...I dunno. Wouldn't work though.

Yeah my backlog is fairly loaded too. I have been making my way through Mordoor. Thinking DA:I or FC4 are next.

There really isn't a lot available for XB1 I want right now. Which is a shame because I have a little over $200 in my Xbox account, thanks to Xbox giving me a good sized refund recently.

I had purchased lots of tv shows from XboxVideo, tried downloading them on my 360 recently for offline viewing. Couldn't do it. So they refunded every show I had purchased, that wouldn't work.

Plus the Halo refund. Now...I wait for good games to go on sale.

Played some Mordor. Its not really my type of game. I'm gonna keep it for a while just to see if I'll go back to it.

Played AC:U and Sunset Overdrive and LOVED them both. AC:U is another one that so many people complained of issues, but I went all the way through and only had a couple of crashes in all my time in the game. Sunset is probably my GOTY. I don't normally buy SPs for games, but I am for SO. It was just so much damn fun.

Don't really know what I am going to play next... Some FH2 and still playing Rocksmith. May try to give Mordor some more time.

 
I loved ACU too! I didn't have any of the problems with that game, that others had. You have me interested in SO meow though. I watched some Twitch streams and I wasn't very interested in what I saw, but maybe I should give it a go, since you're recommending it and giving it a rating like that.

Mordor took me a little while to get into. The story was told....horribly at the beginning, but as it goes on, it gets a little better. I'm not giving it a shining review or anything, but I do think it's worth finishing at the least. Reply value? None.
 
I wouldn't have tried SO if it hadn't been for the free day that MS did. The humor reminds me of Borderlands. The action is quick. The rail running and bouncing is actually really well done and didn't feel forced. The quests were actually fun to replay to get clothes/outfits/boosts/etc. I just had a load of fun with it. The dialog, while crude, made me LOL a bunch of times. Play as a chick. I don't know of the dialog changes as a male character, but the stuff my female character said was hilarious.
 
ACU has to be the buggiest shit i ever played. I managed to beat it but the framerate is so awful and i had it crash on me 3 times.

Just tried to get a refund for Halo and the guy said the dev is blocking requests for refunds until they fix the online. Yea it'll be fixed when Halo 5 comes out.

Not a fan of the low draw distance in ACU. Walk 10 feet from a chair and its shadow disappears. I plan on playing more than 2 minutes after finishing FC4.
 
I don't know how you went about doing it, but my case was escalated. I didn't talk with regular MS support about it. I started the case with regular support, then they escalated it to the special support team and boom goes the dynamite. Try again sometime.

I had to insist the MP wasn't working or me and that I was Very unsatisfied with the purchase and wanted a refund so I could purchase a working game.

Sunset Overdrive starts off kind of slow too, but once you unlock more stuff like the air dash everything starts to come together

 
Don't forget that next month is Saints Row IV on X1!  The base game costs $30 and then a week after the Gat out of Hell expansion comes out for $20. Or you can get it at retail for $50 and it includes both games.

Dying Light also comes out next month too. Both games just in time for my b-day!  :D/

I've really been enjoying both mordor and sunset overdrive. SO reminds me so much of SR4, just straight up silly fun.

I was a little frustrated with mordor at first because everywhere I went I would eventually become surrounded by at least 4-5 Chiefs and a couple dozen orcs and have my ass handed to me. Now I just run away when that happens and I've unlocked the skill that lets you ride caragores(sp?). That's a game changer right there, buddy.

Anyway, I recommend them both.

There isn't much I'm terribly looking forward to either. SR4 is s definite. As well at Ori and the Blind Forest. That new platinum games game could be a day one buy for me as well, I just don't know enough about it.

The truth! That was one of the first things I unlocked. Once you have that, the rest of the game is just...easier lol

Watching NXT [R]Evolution again, just to see..well all of it. I mark out every time Owens and Balor come out.
 
Omega in Street Fighter 4 tomorrow.

EDIT: Riptor comes out Wednesday, not tomorrow. Not sure where I heard Monday.
