LotF is worth the $35. It look great, plays well, and isnt too bad on your HDD. Somehow its around 15gb.

Yep, normally $10 in for that. Says it's a Gold discount on the item page on console. Won't let me buy it though.

X1 sales are poo. Good. I have a bunch of stuff to play and there is the free Rocksmith Hendrix pack tomorrow on X1.
 
Powerstar Golf is up for $10. The game base is free but go to add ons and choose full game unlock to see it for $10

So far that and Magic 2015 for me. Would have bit on Styx for $15, oh well that $30 price tag can kiss my ass

How's Powerstar Golf? No way I'm going to actually play it to see if I should digitally hoard it.

Isn't $30 the normal price for Styx? Know it was value priced to start with.

Haven't played it yet, but I have been fiending for a golf game. So gotta buy it.

Yea, I was just hoping it would drop for sale. That's just something I really wanted. I check every week to see if its on sale.

Powerstar was fun. Worth the $10. Styx looks fun, but I'm not biting til sub-$15 either.

Isn't the 12 day countdown always to the new year (eve?) rather than to Christmas since we live in such a puss-i-fied world and everyone is afraid to hurt other religions feelings? Festivus for the rest-of-us.

Sadly everything on this sale that would have been a sure purchase for me I already have. The only thing I'm considering at all is titanfall, and I really really dislike the lack of a campaign.

Surprising RE6 is still over $10 since it was such a disappointing game. If it and Revelations were $5 I'd get it but I'll have to pass at that price.

That's what it was last year so it became 14 day countdown to New Years or whatever.

 
Someone in here reported earlier that their system started downloading Dead Rising 3 even though they didn't own it. I think it might be a bug on Xbox's side right now.

I have my friends list open and I'm watching the status of my friends playing Destiny and it keeps bouncing back and forth on all (3) of them from "Destiny - Mars: Patrol" to "Dead Rising 3 - Mars:patrol".

If you like tower defense games you won't be disappointed. On top of that it's a real good price. It's very funny but also real challenging, even at lower difficulties. Think of it as a first person Defense Grid, where you can shoot the enemy and build up the path they follow like a maze with turrets. The best way of playing the game is coop, a must in latter levels, but you also enjoy the game playing solo. More people, up to four, means more resilient enemies.

That 'bug' you mention may be that in the first version of the game the resources earned after a wave were deployed next to the core you must protect, so you had to run for them to pick up, losing precious time. That was a bad design decision and people was fairly upset. Fortunately devs took note and released a patch to solve it. Now those resources are thrown directly in your inventory.

RE6 is not really disappointing since it came after 5 which was very disappointing. At least 6 felt a little more like a horror game. Though it did have a major flaw, it was far too quick time action sequence heavy. The ridiculous button smash stick wiggle variety. Revelations is worth it, though I admit the price could be better, it's the best RE game since 4 in my opinion. The shocker to me is that ORC isn't less, that game is horrible if you're not playing online, and not all that great online either. It had the absolute worst ally AI I can recall, ever. I mean, allies that walk into fire and just stay there till they're dead bad.

I usually comment on RE sales so here we go again. Basically I'd recommend any of these games except ORC, with a maybe on RE6.

RE5 - Good price if you want the base game. Last Nightmare story DLC is good, Desperate Escape is OK, Mercenaries Reunion is more characters and fun, Versus is shit. If you think you want DLC, probably better to shell out the $20 or so for the Gold Edition that has everything.

RE6 - Only slightly cheaper than disc on Amazon or whatever. Ok game, lots of story content, dumb choices for gameplay stuff here and there. Criminally low number of Mercs maps at 3 with the rest being paid on-disc DLC. PC version is better if you have a choice as it has exclusive modes and L4D crossover stuff for Mercs, and all the DLC included. If you like RE's old story this is where the really gave up. RE5 is stupid but at least connected to the old stuff. It's a fun action game, but just really doesn't feel RE to me. Puzzles gone, 90% focus on action with little in regards to horror anymore. You're really OP with the large number of combat and movement options available.

ORC - Shit game, really unpolished, bad L4D clone. Only good stuff is fanservice to RE2 and 3 because it's a non-canon, newcomer to the story kind of thing. Fun with friends, virtually dead community. Half the game is a paid DLC, where you play as the other faction in the game.

Code Veronica X - Good game, only available digitally for 360. Good price. The only Classic-style RE on 360 until REmake HD releases. Pretty bare bones port. "HD" pretty much only means displays in a modern aspect ratio.

Revelations - Good game. Only $1 more for a disc on Amazon currently. Sort of a mix between Classic and Modern RE, staring Jill and Chris. "Sequel" on the way in Febuary to all platforms that aren't Nintendo, though I don't think it will connect to Rev 1 at all since it's stars Claire from RE2/Code Veronica, and Barry Burton's (RE1) daughter.

You know, I just noticed they missed one... I wonder why 4 isn't on sale, already have it but it's odd that it's the odd one out. Looking forward to the upcoming 1 remake port. Hoping they also port over 0. I liked both of those games.

At this point, does anyone really care what religous denomination gets tacked onto the title of a sale? They could call it the "Shit out a Yule log and save" sale, as long as the deals are good enough, I could care less.

I have it on 360 and enjoy it quite a bit, I just have too much other stuff to get through really. But I have 5 bucks in Bing Rewards and nothing in the Christmas sale seems interesting so eh, might as well.

4 keeps going on sale by itself. I'd guess that's it. I almost thought about buying REmake for Asia as it's already out on disc there, in English, and region-free, but it was too expensive. Not even sure if I want it since I have the Wii port. The only new stuff is the bad way they did widescreen, 2 costumes, and a shit control scheme. That free movement thing just doesn't work well with fixed cameras, as RE2 N64 and DMC1 showed. Since they didn't up-res the backgrounds I don't think it looks much better.

Probably will still get it at some point though. I always do. Definitely worth it if you haven't played it before.

It was just on sale 11/24 for $6.xx, probably why they didn't add it. They should have still added it though, left the best one out
