Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

This is the one I have been using for the last 6 months and I am very happy with it. This is a great price ($84.99) without having to jump through any hoops (rebates, coupons, etc)
I'm not even half way full with my XBox One HDD, so I think I got some time before I need one, but thanks.

They might be planning to make it a GWG. Maybe that's why they pulled it. Its a bit of a stretch, but still. Never know. I managed to get it for $9 so even if they make it free I won't be angry. Still got it dirt cheap.

According to Lilypad89 at XA, Resident Evil Revelations 2's weird Gamerscore total (1960) is a reference to the year that Progenitor Virus research began. Not sure if other games have taken advantage of newish GS rules to do fun stuff yet.

That's awesome, I'm waiting for the disc release though but it's still not that far off. Main reason I want to play is the online Raid mode still :D

i mean they have put games on sale prior to announcing it as a GWG before so who knows

The fact we've been getting nothing, but indie games for GwG for XBox One and no stopping it anytime soon (with many repeat of same games for months on end)  means I doubt we'll see any big retail games on XBox One GwG anytime soon... Or really any game under a big publisher I want to say.

I'm debating Mortal Kombat and Injustice. $5 apiece seems like a solid deal. However, I hate how much they charge for the DLC on XBL. To fill out both games to be equivalent to Mortal Kombat Komplete or Injustice Ultimate Edition you have to spend many times the base price. It's ridiculous. Sucks when they don't put DLC on sale as well.

Alternatively, on Amazon MK Komplete can be had for ~$15 shipped and Injustice UE can be had for ~$18. Hmmmm....

I suppose I could buy the digital versions essentially to enable "discless mode" and eventually pick up the complete hard copies when they drop down closer to $10 or something to get all the DLC cheaply.

Anyone else do this? I sometimes buy digital download versions when they hit $5 even when I own the hard copy of a game just so I can have the game in my "console jukebox"....

Might pick up sleeping dogs, since I didn't have gold the month it was free. Would like to get ACIV but fifteen still seems like five bucks too much. Thief is still very tempting though...love playing stealth in the elder scrolls games, think Thief might be something I'd like.

Worse yet, it's a half-cocked one on the X1. I mean, $25 for Black Flag? Come on already. That game should be $15 tops, TOPS, on the Xbox One at this point during a sale.
That's crazy. I got a new, sealed copy of Black Flag last summer for $9.99. I think it was from Rakuten, and I definitely learned about the deal here on CAG.

If anyone is thinking about Black Flag or has any interest in Unity, the codes are dirt cheap on eBay. Like $16 total for both codes when I bought it. Don't know why anyone here would spend $25 when you can save money and get one or both games.

For anyone looking to add an external hard drive for additional storage, check this out: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301537577223
This is the one I have been using for the last 6 months and I am very happy with it. This is a great price ($84.99) without having to jump through any hoops (rebates, coupons, etc)
Does Seagate have a high hard drive failure rate? There is a lot of negative reviews on these on newegg. Makes me wonder if it's worth the extra $15 for a western digital one.

I have owned both brands. WD has never failed me and I have had good experience with the USB-powered seagates I have bought. The only trouble I have had with Seagate is with 2 4tb drives I bought recently. I wouldn't say they failed, they just acted weird with my pc setup.

I've had 5 Seagate failures; 4 because of firmware and one because of a bad controller. This was with the last gen Barracuda's, haven't bought any since. I've had 11 WD failures all developing bad sectors, this was with a mix of last and current gen Blacks. Take that for what it's worth, but even though my sample size is relatively large, I chalk it up to the nature of buying bare drives. You'll almost always see relatively high negative reviews for popular HDDs.

Wow, I just happened to see a Youtube clip of Sleeping Dogs yesterday, and it got me thinking that I wanted to play it again even though I already 100%'ed it on 360. Awesome game. Not sure $24 is low enough for me... But if you've never played it before you should jump on that immediately.

I should also mention WD has RMA'd every single one of my drives, no questions asked and shipped a replacement with a quick turnaround. Seagate wanted me to ship my drives for evaluation (at my cost) before they'd entertain an RMA. I've since switched to Toshiba drives, which are now manufactured by WD using HGST tech.

ROFL Rockstar ROFL!

Only took them 18 months to get their promised Heists content out (maybe) and then say it'll only be 4 players max. Hope no one bought that lame sale of GTA5 last week.

PC owners got super screwed too.

Toshiba drives like this? TOSHIBA Canvio Basics 3.0 2TB USB 3.0 2.5" Portable Hard Drive HDTB220XK3CA Black http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=22-149-498

It's only $10 more than the Seagate one and maybe a better warranty/ failure rate?

I'm not sure what models they use in they're externals (but it should be a full Toshiba drive). I have an older 1TB Canvio (like 2-3 years old) that has been working without incident, so I haven't been compelled to dismember it, yet. It's the 3.5" drives that are WD/HGST mutts.

Isn't Sleeping Dogs Definite Edition $50 retail? Not sure if it was the same price digitally but if it was, then it was a clever move Microsoft did to jack it up to $60 then sell it @ 60% off for $24.

Guess they want that extra $5 instead of selling it for $19.99

Bought Sleeping Dogs for $24 for Xbox One.

Glad I held back when it was on sale for $30.  Upset that I didn't hold back 'til it was $20.

Such is the life of a CAG.  :)

So 3 deals for previous Games with Gold freebies (Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution, & Assassin's Creed II). So I wonder if Thief might be a future GWG offering.

I hate when they offer a GWG title really cheap and then a few months down the road it's ends up being the freebie for the month for GWG.

Lol, in the japanese version of DB Xenoverse NPCs give you a hello greeting or something. The North American versions I'm getting a bunch of  wassups lol.

Gears 3, Borderlands 1 & 2, BioShock Infinite (almost bit on the first 2 as well), Fallout 3, Arkham Asylum & City.
