PS4 season pass includes an extra mission that is not in the XBox One version (involving why C3PO has a red arm). Sony has some exclusivity deal with Warner in regards to the games, so they are getting exclusive content in all of the new Lego games (I don't know how they will do that with their re-release of Lego City Undercover --- which was amazing on the Wii U --- but I have concerns). They eventually come out on PC, but the One is not getting them. Avengers was supposed to have either a Civil War character pack and Ant-Man level pack (or vice versa) but the One did not get it and, given that it's been out for a year, it won't be getting them.

Just got home and watched it, holyyyy shit. After AvP got the green-light over James Cameron wanting to make Alien 5, I thought this franchise was doomed. I'm pretty excited about this, now if only Alien: Isolation would go on sale again...

 
Holy crap Dead Rising 4 is AMAZING, I only played for like 4 hours but I am absolutely loving this already and can't wait to explore more and see some of the new stuff in the game, I definitely reccomend giving it a go if you have any interest.

Yeah, I am psyched. I'm probably in the minority of those who actually liked Prometheus, but definitely have wanted a more direct Alien prequel and this looks awesome. That last scene.... as a huge Alien fan, May cannot get here soon enough.

Going all 50 waves with randoms?? Lucky. I refuse to play Horde with randoms. I go get a group on TA so I don't have to deal with the frustration of some dumbass playing as a Soldier running around picking up all the power or a Heavy building all the fortifications when there's an Engineer on the team.

I enjoyed Prometheus.. I wasn't going in expecting "another Alien movie" so I don't think I was let down like other people. I thought it was a good scifi movie.

This Covenant trailer however.. I am ready. Can't wait.

Yeah I decided to pass on it. Seems they will never fix the load times and low frame rate For me the load times were the worst. I would start checking my emails or screw around on the computer while waiting. I could tolerate the lag but the long load times just pissed me off to no end.

Maybe if it was a bit cheaper for the XL. Got a stack of games recently and a bunch of digital stuff too. I have to stop rebuying stuff I already played on PS4 and never seem to get around to on XBox One.

Also just grabbed Dead Rising 4. Well I tried we will see how it goes. Local store seems to be out of stock. Wont be going to work till Monday next week (that BB has 3 or less). So I did a store pickup here locally on 12/29. Got the free ornament as well. Used a Visa Giftcard I got from work to order it. Have had issues using Visa Vanilla cards before so we will see.

Really wanted it digitally but can't see this being $30 or less on live. If it is I will either cancel my order or return it.

2014 and 2015 were the last sales. Both times were in January and both were 75% off. Maybe in January again since that seems to be the golden window.
 
Had a $5 xbox live bing rewards to redeem so I bought Just Cause 3.

Been looking for that game to get cheap for awhile now. $10 will do. Now that marks the games I wanted to get this holiday for xbox done.

Another one I 100%d...it was a weird game. I wouldn't say it was outright garbage, but then again, I'm more forgiving of "bad" games than most people. I personally can't recommend it, because if I tell you to spend your $2 and you end up hating it, I'd feel bad lol.

I dunno'.  If you justify spending money on Netflix or Hulu, you can easily justify Prime because you get like a bajillion other perks.  Yo get the free 2-day shipping (which alone justifies it if you buy things even semi-regularly from Amazon), the streaming video, the radio, the book-lending, you get early access or exclusive access to a lot of deals outside of Prime Day even...  if you get on a subscription service (say for diapers or toilet paper or other things like that, that everyone burns through) you get a sweet extra discount simply because of Prime.

I would let my XBox Gold, Netflix, Scribd, etc, all expire before I finally let Prime go.  I know $100 is a lot annually but... man you do get a whole lot for it.

So I did something last night I had not done in a long time:  fired up Happy Wars.  It's been so long that I didn't even know they'd started sorting you into named leagues based on your level.  I'm apparently placed in Immortal now.  Was excited to see one (and only one) new map too, the Bird God one.

I had also forgotten I had started a second Mage, a Zephyr.  He's got a Tornado skill that's waaaaaaay too much fun to unleash on a crowd of opponents going through a choke point like say over a bridge, or at a castle gate.

I'm probably like, the only one here that has any interest in still probably playing Happy Wars huh....
