Well I am slowly getting through Mankind Divided so I guess the SP for $7.50 is worth it?

Do I wait for the inevitable 75% off on the DR4 SP?

 
Funny how season passes rarely interest me. Probably because there’s so few games I actually finish to begin with. Only ones in recent years that I absolutely had to have were for Forza Horizon games.

I do occasionally get GoTY editions though.

Yeah you are right. Just saw this on the home page, saying groove, but not the try 1 get 3 free (still dont know what that was about).

Also changing region on Xbox should work for Conan. I remember for South Park, Australia had it censored in parts with a crying koala. Changed region on the Xbox to America and downloaded again and no more crying koala.

The gold edition disc got the For Honor treatment, redeem season pass and game downloads digitally so you could rid of the disc

 
Being that Mass Effect is my favorite game series of all time, should I finally give Andromeda a go? It sounded like it had Alien: Colonial Marines syndrome at launch, is it any better now or will it ruin Mass Effect for me forever?

 
Am I the only one who reads Bloomy's posts in Grimlock's voice? Not just regular Grimlock, but super smart Grimlock from that episode "Grimlock's New Brain" where he becomes a genius and creates the Technobots.

A lot of the issues have been worked out yes, def a pick up at that price. The characters are all new, the worlds are all new, the combat is very much what you've already played in ME3 (although the added profiles lets you to customize on the fly which is really great once you're in a high level to switch around with a few of your skills) and the story with your teammates is very ME2 loyalty mission good. I feel like your enjoyment of the game will boil down to how much you like open worlds but really, there's a huge new galaxy to explore and do stuff. There's also the case that the bad guys this time around aren't really as interesting as Reapers/Harbinger/, Cerberus/Illusive Man. Still it's a ton of content to play through and there's a lot of cool moments and banter between crew members is great. Galaxy Map below.

Oh and multiplayer is a lot of fun, very similar to what you've played in ME3. Grab the APEX HQ app to send strike teams and customize your dudes/dudets while away from the game.

I feel like your enjoyment of the game will boil down to how much you like open worlds but really, there's a huge new galaxy to explore and do stuff. There's also the case that the bad guys this time around aren't really as interesting as Reapers/Harbinger/ Illusive Man. Still it's a ton of content to play through and there's a lot of cool moments and banter between crew members is great. Galaxy Map below.

Awesome, I'll give it a go. I loved the exploration aspect of ME1, driving around on planets in the Mako looking for stuff, but apparently nobody else did and exploration was an aspect I missed in 2 and 3. Everything was streamlined into a menu system and I didn't really feel like I was earning the stuff I was finding, it was boring. Loved everything else about the games, obviously.

I second Luriden on this. While some of the extra missions are at best "just good" because of their length, there are truly some awesome moments to be had (especially the Mr. Freeze mission). Plus, the Batgirl prequel story included is EXCELLENT, especially if you find all the secret recordings. It is so worth it.

I love the post you do as well. I don't really have the time to look for all the indie titles on my Xbox. Also, gamerankings rarely shows ratings for lesser known games, which makes it harder for me to find said games.

They fixed a lot of the technical side, but it's far from being a polished game. However scanning stuff is still unnecessary tedium. The biggest problem comes from the writing, including a bad plot, boring and/or unlikeable characters, and grossly underusing its setting

Still one of the best games of It's kind (MUA1 anyways) way better then Marvel Heroes MMO. Granted Victor Vran, Diablo 3 and Path of Exile (when it's out) would be better choices for the most part at this point.

After the last patch both games run a lot better and of course they finally put in the DLC characters. On the X they should be 60fps locked.

Has anyone played through the Sunset Overdrive DLC? Wondering if the season pass is worth it.

Eh, I'll happily pay $15 for some old games on xbox live like radiant silvergun, metal slug x, probably others.

Though some of the old games on other consoles are $10 like fatal frame series, digital devil series, persona series, earthbound, I think $10 is a bargain for a lot of those old games, that hold up over time.

 
Just kind of looking at the store to see if they would do a midnight release on Sonicmania, not really sold on that game to begin with but I might of just been sold on this Observer game that came out of nowhere for me...  I didn't really love Layers of Fear but this looks like Horror Blade Runner and the trailer really left an impression

I loved it. The Mystery of the Mooil Rig is just okay, kind of a boring area but has some decent jokes. Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines however was a highlight for the entire game for me, and has one of the most brilliant final bosses/endings I've ever seen for a game. It really should have been the on-disc boss/ending. The fact that people are missing out on it because it's DLC makes me sad.

Awesome price on Life is Strange. If I hadn't played it already, I would have snatched that one. Looks like another week I sit out.

Just noticed that not all of the ME3 DLC is not on sale, just the Citadel DLC which is kind of disappointing as I would of liked to buy them all up at once. Picked up that and the Sunset Overdrive season pass as it never goes on sale and it gives me an excuse to go back to it. Also for anyone interested, I decided to crack open my ME3 collectors edition and realized that I never redeemed the For Ashes DLC that it came with even though I own it. Willing to let it go for $5 Amazon/PSN/XBOX credit.

Nobody said it was polished, in-fact the game could have used an extra year to do just that actually. Technical issues like weird walking animations, environments not loading and faces that have the wrong expression were pretty bad in the beginning. They fixed all that, even retouched the eyes and faces of a few characters in the game - and to a small extent even added in the gun that was shown off in trailers but didn't exist in the game. If you're curious there's 5 updates since launch. The other stuff you mention can all be subjective. Many people on the internet say they don't think the human crew members are very exciting and they're boring but I enjoyed their backstories and personalities personally. The overall plot and lack of a diabolical enemy is a downside but the strength in the game unexpectedly all the little side mission stuff. Sure, this ain't no Mass Effect trilogy, it's also just one game and it's a spin off with new characters, new galaxy and new places to discover/quests to accomplish while also feeling like a beginning of possibly a new series (although that's highly unlikely yet could be possible since the game was financially successful in the end). I feel at this price it's a def pick up but like I said that'll depend on your open-world preferences. There's also a 10 hour trial which can give you a decent depiction on how you'll like the game.
