Why buy these special dealer cars in Forza 7? Is it because you won’t get to 700 cars unless you do that?

Because if so that will make me do that.
 
Well guess the 'hot deal' is over that was going on at BING rewards till November 30 (or while supplies lasts) re: 3600/7000 points for a $5 or $10 Microsoft egift. I checked my Redeem listing tonight and it's gone. Damn.

I had actually been waiting for it to go on sale; watching for it every single week, so I was pretty hyped.

Overall, I would say it was a decent game. Not nearly as creative as I expected. Without spoiling too much, you play as a dude who is trying to prevent murders. The entire game takes place in one in-game "day," and the day repeats over and over, Groundhog's Day style. You take what you've learned in previous days to make better decisions in future days.

The game had so much potential to be so creative. But, honestly, even though I played the game only a couple months ago, I am finding it hard to remember any of the "solutions." The groundhogs day style of gameplay is almost wasted considering how tame the puzzle-solving is. I wont spoil any unless you really want me to.

Couple things that need special mention:

1. Your character moves so slowly. There is no "run" button. You trot along at what I would describe as "old man speed." It is frustratingly slow.

2. Going from one room to the next brought the game to a screeching halt. Every time I switched rooms, it lagged for 5 or so seconds. This game is not what I would call a graphical powerhouse, so I have no idea how it performed so poorly. Couple that with the incredibly slow movement speed, and the task of moving from one side of the casino to the other often made me groan.

I dont regret the purchase; I like supporting indie games, and I got it on sale. But it is largely forgettable and I would grant it a 7 out of 10.

Never use Edge, well other than when they gave a bonus 10 points a day to do another search through Edge, since it looks like they're done with the bonus entries. Just use a web browser, sign into Bing and search away. Sometimes I like to play a game where I set up a saying and then continue on for the next search starting with the last word I had in search. That or you can just search Steven Spielberg movies and select the movies on the list to aggregate points that way. It seems you're really picky what you're going to play and I thought you'd like the digital goodness this sale has (considering your drive is FUBARED).

Lol, sorry, first thing I thought of when I read your post. I think it's a good balance for those people staying on the couch and not having to move, to the people that go to a retail store and browse for deals/products. Keeps everyone happy.

Well you still see residual elements of what they were trying to do. The online aspect was tied to having a shared game collection. I know many people on here take advantage of that. You also see the incentive of shared gaming collections with the Play Anywhere titles now. Buying digital throws a wrench into the works when you can also play those games with cross-save compatibility on PC & Xbox One. Tbh, I liked the Kinect, even liked it when it was on the 360 - was a great party machine and actually lost weight running through the Kinect Adventure 3D Pong like mini-game - and felt the internet blew that one out of proportion (like the SW:BFII microtransaction issue, ME: A bugs/ animation glitches). The digital catalog, the Game Pass, can be seen as the evolving idea of what Microsoft had to go with the launch of the XB1. Phil said on Podcast Unlocked that people always think there were different people who designed the XB1S but there wasn't, same design/engineer crew.

I also got excited, clicked on the link and went oh right I already paid for it back then as I didn't think it would go on sale. I still haven't played it. I played TBS2 for a few hours and liked what I played though. *Insert Homer Doh.gif

See that's the reason I still don't have the Halo: MCC or this Ezio Collection as I have all the other games already in my collection. I'm also passing on the Bioshock Collection for the same reason. Don't get me wrong though all these are excellent. The AC games area all gold when you can pick em up for sub $10 (cents version for Unity lol).

I would've thought there'd be Something decently priced in this sale that I'd have wanted too, but there's literally nothing. I still haven't pkayed those first two Wolfenstein games, so I'm not interested in the new one at that price. I can wait until it hits the ten dollar mark. The new AC has zero interest for me, and AC Syndicate is still over my buy price. Evil Within 2 is totally skippable because I have 1 but not played a second of it. Destiny 2 is still out of my price range. The rest are things I either already own or have no real interest in. I'd be buying something just to buy it because it's a BF sale. And I agree with others that the prices on a lot of the older bigger titles kinda suck in this sale. Most things are still $20 or $30 and they really should be five or ten cheaper on a BF sale. So there's just nothing on sale that I want.

If there's anything you really, Really think is a fantastic deal, lmk, because I'm just not seeing anything.

Haven’t watched Netflix much since getting the X but I can see why some reviewers have slammed the app. Guess it also was updated for the S and the PS4. But watched some of The Punisher and thought it looked off. Watched on my Samsung’s app and it looked amazing.

They really need to fix it. Know part of it is always being set to HDR even for non HDR shows, but The Punisher is HDR and still didn’t look good.

Sounds like a Netflix problem — not an X or MS problem.

I noticed that after a few recent updates the Netflix app seems to be worse. More sluggish or something off about it.  Also did you see the update about Vudu?

ReCore is one buggy piece of fucking shit. I gave up on this game for awhile to come back to play it with the X patch. I get to the end of one of the final levels and end up falling off. Keep in mind this is after I spent a good two hours trying to finish this battle.I work my way back to the area and the area previous to the battle is BLOCKED because enemies won't spawn. I try my save over. Nothing. I'm literally stuck in the area and can't get out without starting the entire dungeon level over. But guess what? Still bugged. fuck this. I AM DONE.  I literally uninstalled the game, deleted my pin and hid it from my install list. I am never playing this game again. Recore 2 better be the most amazing/polished game in XBox history to grab my attention.

I thought I was alone, but after reading other forum posts on reddit ReCore has frustrated a lot of people. One would think the definitive edition would have fixed a lot of bugs but there are still some major ones.

I really wanted to like the game, and at one point I did till I ran into the later areas and insane amount of bugs. Ugh.

Oh yeah, still never beat the final boss in Hand's of Fate either. Screw that game as well. But at least I was beaten by a cheap boss rather then game breaking glitches.

Why am I so tempted by ACO? The only AC game I liked was Black Flag, and I only really liked the sailing parts. I keep thinking the new combat system is gonna turn it all around for me, but I could get a handful of other games on sale instead.

Only one opinion but I am not a big AC fan (although I now plan to go back and play some more) and have found Origins to be fantastic. The combat is so much better than any other AC game. The progression makes it more like an RPG. And I love the setting. Honestly think it may be GoTY at this point.

That's too bad. Was really on the fence and didn't get any because last time I cashed out most of my points on it and then right after they did that epic $10 MS store coupon for 3000 points or whatever it was. That's what they need to bring back again.

Dang, I probably would have got this and spent my credit on something else. I'll just wait for the DLC to go on sale again, there's plenty to do in the base game... once I find time to start it.

Just noticed that Witcher 3 Complete edition is $20 for gold on this sale. Base trade value at Gamestop for Complete is 22.50, or $27 for elite. Gonna add this to my trades this weekend, with the COD code it's 33.75! Getting paid almost $14 to switch to digital on this one.

Nice, I traded in Injustice 2 for about $30 to pick it up on BF for $15. I'm thinking about getting it digital with dlc though.
 
I sure hope another reward hot deal for something game related pops up

that one was not up very long at all and it'll be a long wait without another replacing it or coming back

 
So how often do these hot deals change for Microsoft Rewards? Canada’s hot deal has been on Microsoft credit since it started last month but I’ve been saving up for Live Gold.

So I'm having fun in Battlefront 2 multi, but I keep getting buggy times where I can't see any player models. Very hard to kill health bars when I don't know where to shoot.

DNF is easily worth $2!!! Stop the hate! I beat it multiple times and had a blast.

 
The problem with Duke Nukem Forever is that it's mediocre at best and there are tons of better FPS games and Duke just doesn't scratch any particular itch or exceed at doing anything great or hell, even good.

 
What is the difference between the Forza horizon 3 car pass and vip pass? I bought the game and both expansions last weekend and trying to decide if I should get the car pass since it's on sale.

Just realized Forza Horizon 3 trades for $24.50 at GS with Pro. Think I’m going to go digital for $.50.

Want to go digital for other things but unsure about it as it’s a minimum $3.50 difference and they’re not games I play as much. Guess I can continue to get the 10 feet of exercise for those. :)
