Sucks that some of these got removed, though I'd say Runner 2 is the biggest loss out of the XBLA games. I wonder what the deal is, most of these shouldn't have the obvious issues other than Chime and its licensed music.

I've had it for years. Awesome premise, awful awful execution. You want to play a shitty FPS (or was it a 3rd person shooter? I blocked it out of my mind) go for it. I couldn't play more than two levels before I quit.

I have Chime, Runner2 and Deathsmiles (both physical and digital). Backlogged the first 2 DeathSpank games back in Jan 2011, but never got the Baconing. Looks like it might not have had a sale since March 2012.

A.R.E.S, Deathsmiles, the Agarest War games and Runner2 were all published by Aksys Games. The others are by Valcon Games. Thought it was odd that some games in a series were pulled but not others, but there were different publishers in play.

 
A Lancer skin will be available during the Gears 4 live stream tonight.  Might be one they've already given out - YJeter's Lancer Skin, which I already have.  Can't be scrapped, but I already have a number of duplicate skins that can't be scrapped.

Bought Van Helskng 2, so now I've got all of those games. Anyone know if they ever fixed VH3 to allow the save game import from VH2? I read you could import your character from 1 into 2, but the stuff I'm reading says they were planning on fixing it so you could import into 3, but seeing no info on if it's ever been implemented.

Deathspank games are fun loot games with light rpg if I recall correctly. Should at least try out the one that's BC. I was hoping baconing would go BC. It's the only one of the three I haven't beaten. Would be surprised if that happened now so guess I'll just have to turn my 360 on.

Always considered Deathsmiles when people talked about it but I'm not a huge shmup fan. Have trouble witches neo on 360 that I haven't played a ton of.

Publishing deals ending since XBLA didn't support self-publishing, I'm guessing for the indie stuff.

Hmm, at least we got a heads up on the other games like Korra and Transformers. Looking at that list I remember playing a few fond nights of Runner 2 but that game does get old after a while. I never beat it, don't know if I'll go back again either as it'll be a hard start after not playing for some time.

Looking through my Forza games on TA and Forza Hub I devised a plan to grab a few more achievements in the series (as I'm super close to moving up the next Tier - 97 points away from Tier 11 believe it or not - for more reward credits). Went back to FM3 and haha oh man the graphics made me think anytime I'm near a blind corner a sticky grenade - thrown by a disgruntled grunt - would be flying over the hood of my car. It's just that low texture, low polygon perspective feeling to it. Believe it or not, never did a time trial in the game and like the TA guide states it's kind of hidden in the menus. Odd

Also been playing and buying cars like I'm made of money in Forza Horizon 1 to boost my Forza Hub point total. Still, another last gen game but this one still has impressive sunsets, along with the day/night cycle.

 
Never knew there was a site that tracked that stuff. In that case, check out this baller space port entrance I made in Elite Dangerous one day when I accidentally pressed the boost button without meaning to.

It looks like Valcon Games may not be in business anymore. If you go to their website it is a dead link. It also looks like they have not published anything since 2011. Looks like Aksys is still selling stuff on their website.

I have all of the delisted arcade games except Xotic. I remember playing the demo for Xotic when it was on sale a while back and not liking the game play. I own Raiden Fighters Aces on disc. I also picked up Deathsmiles digitally when it went on sale.

 
Anyone else have a random Realm Pack for Paladins added to their account purchases yesterday? Never played Paladins or even downloaded it.

edit: apparently it was from watching the paladins mixer to win an xbox one x

Looks like Bandai Namco has confirmed Dark Souls Remastered for 5/25/2018 release date. Supposedly will have updated lighting and textures based on Dark Souls III. Not sure if/how it would take advantage of any X1X enhancements.

Edit: looks like X1X will have 4k @ 60 fps.

Would rather they remastered Demon souls but still dark souls remastered will be awesome to play again with enhanced graphics.

My problem with AC games is that Black Flag and Origins exist. They are so head and shoulders above every other AC game that it makes them seem pointless to play.

Yeah with Origins I seriously cannot go back. Origins is too good and the extra RPG elements have kept me so engaged. I can't go back. Ever.

I disagree in this case. Rogue feels like a semi-sequel to Black Flag, and I actually enjoyed it a bit more. Less filler activities, ship battles were a bit more refined, and I thought the story was better.

I don't think it needs a remaster, the BC version plays well enough for me and I'm sure it looks great already on X1X, but I'll pick it up when it's $5 for another excuse to play through it again and rack up another 1000 gamerscore.

Rogue plays almost identically to Black Flag though, doesn't it? It was the last-gen follow-up to BF.

I'm interested in seeing what they initially charge for rogue. Ezio collection was three games for $60 but they weren't technically remastered if I remember correctly. Would be pleasantly surprised if they only charge $20.
 
Hopefully they are patching DS3 to at least upcap the frame rate. That would leave DS3 as the only non-60fps title of the series on the XBox.

Sad to say but I'm probably gonna throw down $60 for the remake as DS was a top 5 game for me last gen.

No BC additions this week as my uncle was wrong. I hope he gets fired from MS.

Forza Horizon 3 is going to be *NATIVE* 4k 30fps when the X patch drops the 15th.

 
I doubt Dark Souls 3 will get an upgrade at this point. Bamco hasn't been doing retro-active patches for the X as far as I'm aware, and their Pro patch for Souls was 10 months ago, and pretty bare bones.

From Software never updated Bloodborne either, and that was probably even more likely since it was Sony published. I think the studio just has too much on their plate to go back to old titles and do major updates.
 

 
Oh I doubt one for DS3 to. Would be nice.

Even barebones would be good considering it would just unlock frame rate. Would be a bigger boost to the X. Game already looks good.

Hey, Microsoft bought the Minecraft IP and still publishes the game on Sony platforms.

That said, Minecraft is a much larger property and MS would be stupid to pass on that much more money. Demon Souls is much more niche so it is a pipe dream.

Should also note that Sony was the only platform to refuse to do Minecraft crossplay so we all know how they feel about MS:

That said, Minecraft is a much larger property and MS would be stupid to pass on that much more money. Demon Souls is much more niche so it is a pipe dream.

Okay. Trolling aside, a Sony IP isn't something you're going to get on Xbox unless Microsoft buys out the competition.

 
I tried to play darkest of days and that game is tragically bad,

However Horse Puncher is one of the best achievements ever though :

"punch a horse in the face, killing it"

And the picture is just a dude superman punching a horse  :rofl:
