The Gamepass Quest hasn't hit all accounts. It only showed up for me 2 days ago. I earned the required achievements the last two days and only one (FH4) has checked off for me.

 
Still waiting on the indy punch card to complete the 5000 points punch card. I've gotten achievements in most of the games listed on it, except for Rime, which I tried and could not figure out what to actually do in the game. Don't kniw what the stupid delay is with MS and these punch cards.

And thinking about getting one of these games, just not sure which is the best option...

Nice. I have 5 versions of RE. But I make a point to play that game once every few years instead of letting it sit unplayed for decades.

On topic, downloading the newly added MX title via game pass as we speak and waiting anxiously to start buying Black Friday online games in just a bit. Need me some physical discs like AC Odyssey, LA Noire and heh heh....Resident Evil 7

Assassin's Creed Origin is a lot of bang for the buck, but yeah Ubisoft has a track record for GWG. That said base game I put 80 hours in for the 100% completion and haven't even touched the DLC yet, so I figure I got my $$ worth.

My favorite thing is how Microsoft Store twists the dagger by the Add to Cart button appearing then immediately fading out to Out of Stock. Just those few seconds of hope before they just take a dump on your windows like the Tooth Fairy.

Also playing Guitar Hero Live before the servers go off and guys I'm here to report Fountain of Wayne's song "Stacy's Mom" is still complete trash after all these years. You're welcome.

The Game Pass punch card only appears in the Rewards app on the console for me. I wonder if you're not getting it b/c you didn't have Game Pass when the offer began.

 
So I know that with MS rewards you’re not supposed to share codes, since that’s how you get banned (and also why they now do auto deposit). However, my fiancé got an XBL message with the free $5 code and I haven’t yet, so I’m wondering if I can add it to my account since I’m the one with Gold who can actually take advantage of some of the deals. Anybody have experience or any thoughts on this?

This must be a huge disaster for Bethesda, this is the fastest I've ever seen a big game get a $20 discount. Shadow of the Tomb Raider dropped by pretty quick, but that was still 3 weeks after launch. They're surely going to pass it off as a Black Friday thing, but we all know that sale started several days ago, and that it isn't the normal deal day either.

76's reviews have be worse than their worst case scenario expectations. Even on the highest platform it is now officially ranked worse on Metacritic than the universally hated Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel spin-off. Hell, Giant Bomb just said they're won't be a review from them because they don't want to bother fighting the bugs to suffer through to the ending. Word of mouth is in the toilet, they're getting trashed for the 50 gig "patch" that barely fixed anything, and now they've probably pissed off a good chunk of those who did give the game a chance by lowering the price so much so fast.

I think everyone that did buy this digitally should at least try to get a partial credit from Microsoft. Bethesda probably should do something nice for the people they screwed over too, give $20 worth of Atoms or some exclusive items or something.

Thanks for posting this. I checked my kids' accounts and one had the $5 message. I used it on my account and it worked, so it's not tied to any specific account.

I've been a Bethesda game fanboy since Morrowind, it was my reason for entering the world of Microsoft way back when, but my interest in '76 is Zero, even without reading all the bad reviews.

Honestly they'd probably been better off taking a page from Metal Gear Survive and making the starting price $40. Or you know still including some NPCs even if not as many as other games. I just can't imagine that someone pitched "No NPC!" and everyone else was like "Yeah, cool, lets go with that!"

Of course thats just the beginning of the problems but easily pretty major shots in the foot by choice.


Only criticism I don't really agree with is the one about copy and pasting reused assets. New Vegas uses 3's stuff left and right and didn't diminish anything. Didn't bother me when seeing he reviews and gameplay either.

Yeah I’m done too. I get so annoyed when they put the game plus dlc on sale but not the dlc by itself, which happens a lot. I’m like damn I’m your existing paying customer and I can’t get a discount?

Companies don’t care though, so I figure why should I then lol.

Just checked and the other 3 checked off and I got my 5000 pts all in 3 days. I got lucky. Hopefully, all of yours checked off too.

I am a little bummed that I missed Kingdom Come @ $12. I've been waiting for it to come down significantly, had no idea it was ever that low. Ah well, it'll drop again someday, right?
Edit: I see it now. I'd rather have a digital copy anyway.

Well, here's an article on their refurbishment centers. I have no experience buying their refurbished systems so I would recommend buying a warranty for it.

Having worked at the roc for several years I would not trust them without a good long warranty. Most likely they are selling you the roach units. Trust me you dont wanna know about the roach room.

I am a little bummed that I missed Kingdom Come @ $12. I've been waiting for it to come down significantly, had no idea it was ever that low. Ah well, it'll drop again someday, right?

It was sold out in minutes. I added it to my cart and when I went to make the purchase, it was removed from the cart.

 
with the xbox gamepass punchcard quest do they punch your card one at a time or can i go through them all at once and they will punch them together?

By the time your 12 month sub is over, you'll have played both and a bunch more. If you want permanent copies, by the time your sub is done, they'll be a lot cheaper.
