Trying the Game Pass quests, and I realize just how much I suck at and hate PUBG. Have yet to get a kill after about five games. I can't get an achievement fast enough so I can delete this game. Definitely not my cup of noodles.

Well this sucks. All my achievements from Alice: Madness Returns registered as offline. Does this happen on BC games sometimes? Now I still need 3 more for the 12th day challenge for TA. I thought I was done this morning. So sad. 

 
Slightly off topic, but I know there’s a lot of multi-console users on this forum: Gris is freaking beautiful and graceful and amazing. Haven’t finished (I think I’m about half-way or 3/4 through, heard it isn’t super long anyway), and it’s just a great experience. Most beautiful game since Ori, though much different gameplay - no combat for the most part. Would be great to see it on Xbox eventually, and I’d probably double dip, but it’s great having a reason to boot up my Switch every now and then, too.

It’s been known to happen. I had a couple unlock offline for me during day 5 as well. My advice is to double check you’re online with a BC title but using the 360 guide to check.

Just cause I came across this looking for similar info myself, it looks like there is a bunch of hoops but sort of a password system like the Dark Souls Remasterd, but you need to be at similar story points

It happens quite frequently with me and others playing the 360 BC titles on the Xbox One. It sucks because you don't seem to get a pop up that you've "gone offline", what I usually do is put myself in a "party" inside the 360 emulation dashboard and when it does it's disconnect from Xbox Live thing you'll get a notification about the party disconnecting.

 
Is this a new thing (BC games on Bone thinking they are offline)? I've only noticed it recently but all of a sudden I've seen it mentioned a lot.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus as well as had a S8 Plus. It was a pain to use the Oculus with that. I'm sure the Oculus Go would be much easier and probably better to get depending on the price.

I went with a Samsung Windows Mixed reality headset since I wanted to play Halo in VR (which was just a shooting gallery but really cool when Master Chief shows up)

I also have a Playstation VR and it's easy to use but the wires get in the way.

I say get the Oculus Go and make sure to buy Minecraft for it. You can log into your Microsoft account and play with everyone else just like normal. It's a great gateway into VR but don't expect life changing games.

It's been that way from the start at least for me. Cost me once or twice in the more competitive TrueAchievements contests like Ultimate Head to Head.

 
I know we don't talk about Let's Plays much if at all here, but the Super Best Friends channel just died. These were just about the only LPers I ever found entertaining enough to stick with, I think because they stuck with playing stuff they found cool instead of jumping on current trends for views. Case in point, they had a big emphasis on both good and terrible fighting games and have a new game played every Friday/Saturday, but rather than rushing a big video out for Smash Ultimate's launch with none of the roster unlocked, they held off so they could have the full experience and instead played an obscure and bad doujin fighter. In 9 years, they never did "like and subscribe" begging either. They've always just felt very sincere and I think that's what made me like them. They also have a pretty popular gaming podcast that at least is going to live on with a new name with two of the three members. Lastly, while they never became a huge channel they did a lot of promotion that got many big channels going, and often promoted up and coming indie games, both with coverage and funding. If you've played games like Shovel Knight, Skullgirls, or Divekick and many more, you've likely seen a bit of their influence with either themselves or their goofy Zubaz character appearing in them.

Anyways, the three guys all started separate channels and streams in the last year or so, and put out good solo content so check them out if any of this sounds interesting. Their individual channels are linked in the description of the video.

They're getting a lot of flack for not having an XP multiplier available during the weekend, when people will more likely have time to play. At least these skins can be gotten with a web browser.

Yeah, the one day 8x XP on a Thursday was total crap. At least the Jingle Juvie event can get you an achievement for having 5 unique Midnight Omen weapon skins.
 
Gamepass has been crazy this month, I'm hitting the brick wall part in Below, but man I've been so impressed by it so far. It's old school hard for sure, like zero info given in game.

Going back to school, game pass has been a God send. Then the fact I can get a month for free via Bing/MS Rewards or $1/month when it lapses? Incredible value. Makes me think Microsoft wouldn't be offering this much bang for our buck if they hadn't of fallen face first out of the gate this gen. Been playing catch-up ever since.

Considering the Coalition messed up Snowball Fight's launch(releasing next week vs Friday), I think they've been stumbling with some little things, like the XP boost that should be there atm. But the daily weapon skins & the Gingerbeard Imago and Oscar Santa's Little Helper skin are bloody hilarious. Can't have em all be a winner *shrug*

I remember Forza Horizon not being available until after midnight when it launched on gamepass. I don’t think I was able to download it until mid morning.
 
Bought mutant year zero, ashen, and monster boy from winter arcade promo. Also have subnautica from game preview but I'm sure that won't count. When can we expect the promo credits and do they get loaded onto the account or sent in email?

I just checked my console and Hellblade is available to install via game pass. I'm in Southern CA, so almost 4pm fyi. I know what I'm playing tonight, woot!!!

Heads up, just got an email from Microsoft advertising their consoles at $100 off but that's not what I came here to post about. There are some trees right below that message that I clicked on and was awarded $10 in Microsoft moneys :0

I got one on both my Rewards accounts. It's a code, and it let me apply the code to the account I use to purchase things. A free $20. Nice.

 
This is amazing.

All I'm going to say is....check every fucking account you ever made if you were a bing rewards member!!

edit: They also sent a $5 to some accounts on Friday. Look for "Attention You've recieved....."
