Oh yeah, figure it's worth noting because I feel it's getting lost in the shuffle of the other year end games and everyone loves asking where the OG XBox game sales at, but I got SSX3 for $3.29.

I haven't played it much in the last month and have done zero online matches but for 12 should be worth it. My only issue I had was random disconnects while doing to the solo campaign stuff which is slightly annoying.

Hong Kong, all of the interface menus are in English. As for the included games, the Japanese games are in Japanese and US release games in English. In total 18 games (1000 gamerscore), plus a separate download for Hanazono High School Dodgeball Club (no achievements). Some games are duplicates with slight differences in the Jap/US versions.

Finished the story of Ori and have to go around to clean up some achievements but man that was a blast. Such a great addition to Gamepass.

I have been playing it, on PS4 (free monthly game) and it is so much fun online. it fills you with adrenaline every time you race and take down opponents.

I'm old and don't know these things. I can't keep up with what the young kids are playing these days. I play stuff like halo.

Back in my day when we killed an opposing player we tea bagged their dead body. What the heck is this dancing over their dead body stuff!?

Back in my day all the players lookef the same and you just had red or blue armour. What the heck is this paying real money to make your character have different clothes on. What kinda bs is this.

Back in my day games looked bad because thats best we could do at the time. Now they make games look bad just because.

It looks like Vudu doesn't have Dark of the Moon in UHD yet and on FandangoNow Age of Extinction isn't UV for some reason. The other two of the first four movies are fine on both and I don't own The Last Knight digitally (haven't redeem my code yet).

Saw Bumblebee, surprised to say I lived long enough to see a live-action Transformers movie that wasn't a dumpster fire. I guess it goes to show just how poor of an influence Bay being director had.

Can't speak for Minecraft, but you can definitely use Microsoft gift cards for Fortnite, they just have to redeemed already on your account. When you go to buy V-Bucks it prompts like any other XBL transaction where you pick your payment method, so if you have a balance in your account it will show.

I've been around Halo since 2001 or 2002. I've got to say I VASTLY prefer the Fortnite DLC model to either the old or current Halo monitization. Yes, Fortnite has skins that are way too expensive by normal standards, but there are two things that make this worthwhile to me. First, because this shit has a paid option, all gameplay updates are completely free for everyone. No need for map packs that separate that player-base, and because of the ridiculous money they make Fortnite gets changes constantly, basically every 3 or 4 days something is changed or added.

Halo 5 managed to totally botch their attempt at free updates in few ways. For one, getting the armor you want is nearly impossible to influence, outside a tiny percentage of a percentage of fringe cases, EVERYTHING is tied to random lootboxes that are also filled mostly with consumable items for the trash Warzone mode. The other big issue is the way the game launched because of the planned updates. Due to their plan, Halo 5 had no Forge for months, and was missing many staple gamemodes that have been around since Combat Evolved, like Oddball and Assault. It's fine for the most part now, but it took a long time to get there. Those lootboxes are really the biggest fuck you overall, I'd much rather be able to directly unlock the one thing I want than pray to the RNG gods.

Back to Fortnite, the other big positive I see is that you can spend $20 to $40 to buy the Save the World portion of the game, and earn V-bucks pretty consistently just from playing and login bonuses. I've earned somewhere around $120 worth of said V-bucks, while also getting the last 4 or 5 Battlepasses which essentially pay for themselves. Even if you don't want to spend that much, you can either bite at the $10 Battlepass and forever earn new stuff as long as you play a decent amount, or over a long time even earn the Battlepass for free.

As for dancing versus t-bagging, I just think that's a natural evolution. T-bag became disrespectful spray became disrespectful emote. It's not like t-bagging ever went away, as long as a game as some way to crouch it lives on.

TL;DR: Free updates for all players is good. Direct but expensive purchases of specific items is better than lootboxes designed to make you want to buy more spins of the RNG wheel, especially if you can earn the same currency at a decent pace.

playing it now. The loading is rough. If you die it takes a minute to load back. I’ve also had my guy running down the street and it just cuts to a loading screen before he can finish a sentence.
Not a deal breaker but it appears to have some rough edges early on.
 
I got 15 bucks in my Microsoft wallet but I can’t pull the trigger on anything. Including Gamepass and GwG, I’ve got too much in my backlog. If I do anything I might buy a game that’s on Gamepass to show how much I enjoy the game. It’s either the Disney Park game or remastered Zoo Tycoon.
 
Thinking about getting hitman 2, and the 20th anniversary rise of the tomb raider. Does all the extra content for rise of the tomb raider come included in the game pass ?

Still want to get fortnite save the world for the single player campaign. Keep hearing about it going free to play.

I couldn't help myself and bought DBFighterZ with all the stupid DLC. Of course they put Freiza saga Vegeta and Goku behind a paywall, and I have enough passing interest in Bardock, Broly, and Cooler to just cave on the season pass. It looks cool, but I've never developed much interest in fighting games. Hopefully this sucks me into MvC and Injustice and MORTAL KOMBAT EPIC FATALITY EDITION WITH BLOOD AND SIDE BOOB! so I can keep my backlog overfed. I hate to have more than 20% of my HDD taken up by games I've started, as it needs plenty of used but unaccessed data as a buffer against the malicious code and goblins leprechauns elves that plague all electronics.

I've been playing a ton of the Disneyland game, and an at about 40% complete. O am constantly surprised at the sheer amount of things it will have me do. The best is finding the Hidden Mickeys. The worst is turning on lights in every land (had me shooting at what are clearly lights on buildings, but that aren't connected to the quest) As a note, the game is VERY repetitive with a lot of fetch quests, but mastering the rides is a lot of fun. Plus, I'll find myself exploring the park just for the sake of it. Overall, I've enjoyed it so far

I've heard the game is very good about teaching you the various systems it has in place. One of those "easy to learn, hard to master" fighters. Still, the art style alone is great. Plus, it has some amazing characters like Tien, Ginyu, and Super 17. Not the GT character, but 17 from DB Super. You know, the one everyone loves!

Passing on the “like” so I don’t ruin someone else’s chances, but thanks for bringing this to my attention. Went and bought the game anyway, but I’m glad it’s getting some extra sales.

On the deal front, picked up Killer is Dead since I figure cheap hack n slash while I wait for the new No More Heroes on Switch is a fun idea (even though it’s just a mini-game mix-up thing but still). Also, to the person/people earlier saying they’re enjoying Ori now that it’s on Game Pass, I’m so glad you’re able to experience the awesomeness of it. I know I’m repeating myself but it’s one of my all-time favorite games, and definitely top tier for this generation, especially for fans of platformers.

And finally, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all who are celebrating. May 2019 continue to be budget friendly and less sucky overall.

For you and others asking, DLC doesn’t come with Game Pass games generally speaking (Hitman, Life is Strange, and other episodic stuff is obviously exceptions), but I believe you still get the GP discount on the price of the DLC you’d want once you’re a subscriber.
