To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

MS is reading my mind. I've been wanting to replay Arkham City. For $5, it's a no brainer.

Any thoughts on Risen 2? It looks like it could be somewhat fun or really really terrible.

Just finished the demo to Abyss Odyssey :sigh: let me try that again:

Just tried to finish the demo to Abyss Odyssey - yet another game that looks good but controls like crap. I can forgive some minor glitches but not when button attacks are half a second behind. The woman does three attacks no matter how many times you press a button. Trying to make her turn in the opposite direction also becomes a chore and you can't do it while attacking.

I will give it credit, however, for being one of the few games that allows you to run into enemies without receiving damage. 

 
Gonna download the demo for the Raven game to see what that's all about. If Jeopardy was lower than $5, I'd buy that in an instant. Would love to get Injustice but I prefer to have all the DLC characters so it wouldn't just be $7.99. Would have to buy the season pass for $5.99 and since it doesn't include all characters, gotta buy the other two so that's another $9.99. Now it's $24 for the complete edition and I could get the physical copy for around that price. Bleh

 
I see mixed reviews on the Spider-Man game but is it still worth it?  I feel like I've seen people like it around here.

Also is any of the Darksiders 2 DLC worth it?  Don't want to drop $17 on DLC for it probably.

Also the PSN version of the super hero stuff is way better if you have PS+. Ultimate Edition of Injustice for $8.40, Arkham Origins on sale ($8.40) instead of the season pass (keeps happening where PSN gets the game on sale but it's not on XBL so they discount the pass), MvC $3.75. Really sucks that I have XBL money to spend and not PSN.

That's what I thought most people said about it even though the reviews are mixed. Should I watch the movie first, had it in my backlog since Christmas, so the game doesn't spoil it?

Well you should definitely watch the first one because it's a great spider man flick, the second ASM movie is fantastic. The first one is pretty standard spider-man flair, you won't really have much spoiled either way because it's more of the intro movie where we see peter and all that jazz. Now, number 2, it has some pretty significant plot development in comparison to ASM1. There are some big things that happen.
 
FYI: Killer Instinct Ultra Edition seems to the the XB1 sale, down from 39.99 to 29.99. 

Edit: Thats the only KI stuff on sale, at least at the moment.

Wow Destroy All Humans has terrible reviews. I'm still going to get it since its better than paying $30 at gamestop for an old game. And who knows maybe ill enjoy it.

Yeah shows $30 for me. Still ashame no upgrade option for combo breaker base, should be $10ish.

Then again I got KI for free for being a 'loyal' gold member. Some people got free X1s though lol

 
Tried The Raven demo. I Enjoyed Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, but man The Raven just felt boring to me. That and something about the controls felt kinda sluggish, which is weird to say for an adventure game.

So looks like more money saved since that demo did nothing and everything else I'm slightly interested in will either get cheaper or turned out to have bad reviews. MOAR MONEY FOR DANCE CENTRAL DLC!

Well first if you go Injustice get the freaking Ultimate Edition from Amazon for $20 as has been mentioned over and over. I'm going for KI.

I've put so much time into Injustice it's hard for me to want to go back (made the mistake of grinding out trophies on the PS4 version) but it's really solid and fairly accessible. Even plays decent with a controller (well DS3/4 at least, haven't tried 360 controller on it) if you don't have a fight stick.

PSA: Injustice Complete Edition is on sale for $8 on PS3/PS4 this week. A lot of titles from this sale are currently cheaper during this week's Sony sales. Lame that MS can't match those prices as I am flush with XBL credit.
 
Picked up Demonic Vacation, City Critters, and Clock strikes meat night dlc for Painkiller Hell and Damnation. Might pick up Risen 2, I do have the first one but I'm not sure if I really want it.  :whistle2:k

Yeah, I was going to get Arkham City for $5 but since I have it already on PS+ and origins is just $8 might as well get that so I'll have the trilogy.

And MVC origins is only $3.74 on PSN
