  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Lots of repeats though....rayman legends is a hair cheaper than last time (it was 15)...still waiting for 10...MS keeps pushing these prices just a bit higher than what I want to pay considering my backlog...state of decay dlc is tempting except I still haven't redeemed my main game code because I just don't think I'll be able to find time to play it...

Shadow complex is tempting.  If that sale was 6 months ago, it would already be purchased but I'm trying not to add too much to the backlog and GWG keeps me from buying everything on sale anymore...

I completely understand not wanting to add more to the backlog - in this case, though, the best way to avoid that is to buy it now and play it now - problem solved.

Is the Mafia 2 GoD the vanilla version? It is a good price but if it isn't the platinum, then I think I'll hold out for physical.
 
Mafia 2 and Crysis 3 just got bought, for those prices hell yeah I'm throwing them in the backlog! Never know when I might be bored and need to play something during a dry spell.

the extra stuff is so arcadey. i had it on ps3 and xbox. i didn't bother for more than an hour on joe's story. the extra suits look ugly. you do get some nice fast cards but in a game like mafia 2 that always makes you drive a story vehicle, it isn't worth it.

I keep telling myself "don't add to my 360 backlog, don't add to my 360 backlog, don't add to my..." Click on Confirm purchase. "Crap"

I already have a current gen backlog which I swore I wouldn't. AC4 and the EA pass games (sans BF4 which I already played quite a bit and traded in for $40 last week for the EA Access pass), Guacamelee and the other GwG (which I may or may not play as they aren't high on my list).
 
Ain't buying nothin til I see what the Xbox One sale is. Then when I see it's call of duty again, I will pay more attention to the list of 360 games on sale.

Shoulda just bought it from the target clearance thread.

$21.xx for a digital download code for both the 360 AND Xbox One. I got that price about 3 months after ghost released. Traded in physical disc for $40. Made out like a bandit.

There still might be some floating around the trade boards for $25

Oh I did find one at Target for <$10 and promptly traded it. I'm not a CoD guy at all, my post was kind of a joke. ;)

LIFELINE DLC doesn't act like the rest of the SoD engine in that he game time stops when you're not playing, ie. go ahead and play it then come back in a month and everything should be as you left it... unlike the core game and BREAKDOWN DLC.

I just came down from a month and a half bender playing from the core game all the way through both DLCs* (although BREAKDOWN is never-ending, I played for weeks upto level 8--suffice to say I've experienced most of what he game had to offer and then some), see my sig for some validity.
 
tempted by the bioshock season pass. eh. i'll await for the wold among us complete series on ps4/x1 in a few years. same with walking dead. you know it's coming.

When it comes to Xbox One games on sale, 12 hours most definitely can hurt. I can remember on two occasions of games that have dropped in price, only to return to normal price 8 hours later.

 
Wow, nice deals. I'll probably pick up Spec Ops, heard a lot of good things about it. I bought Lego Lord of the Rings last time it was on sale, wish I'd waited because I think it's a few bucks less now.
