Saving the universe is the most productive thing you could possibly do! :bouncy:

XBLA House Party
Mass Effect 3 CE
Silent Hill HD collection
Silent Hill Downpour
Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition

Plus a 3 month old baby girl...yeah. So many games and no times to play :( I might not even bother preordering the Resident Evil: ORC SE because all I do is buy games with no time to play them all, lol.
the shadowrun community is very harsh, and they will mercilessly berate you. i got rid of the game due to this fact
Theres some good people to be found in there. Regardless it holds a spot in one of my favorite MP games ever. A shame we'll never see any more of it.
Awesome! I've been waiting for that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC to go on sale forever...
Me to. Glad I didn't download it last month with the 5% back because I almost did!
Is that Burgertime remix worth 400 points? I remember being a kid and playing that game in the arcade.
I won the game on facebook last month. I played it some and it was fun for the first couple levels. But the controls imo are just not very tight and becuase of that it got very frustrating for me just a couple levels into the game. Again thats just my opinion, others may love it. I just wanted to throw my controller.

Funny. Choplifter HD is still at 1200pts while the PS3 and Steam versions are at $10. Already let the support team know about the universal price drop weeks ago. Oh wells.

Okay, time to decide if I'm ever going to buy Castlevania. I don't think that DLC has ever been on sale and it might never be again.

Also, I'd like to add my voice to the ilomilo love. Great game.

I just now saw the DotW and have to say that I was hoping that ME2 DLC would be on sale this week to go along with ME3 launching. I'm finally tired of waiting for the GotY Edition that will never come out and I want to play the pieces that have choices that result in stuff changing in ME3.

Just for the sake of discussion (and since being released in a few hours), IGN gave I Am Alive a 4.5. Ouch. I Know alot of people were looking forward to it, but Jesus...

Yet Gamespot gave it an 8.0. I Look forward to trying the demo on this.

Found this posted on Joystiq re: LoS DLC:

"@Electrium Reverie was a bit disappointing to be honest. It is a good lead-up to Resurrection, so story-wise it makes sense to play it first, but I found myself really bored and frustrated with it. Not really much action in it at all, and very light on content...the whole thing is basically just a series of tacked-on and unnecessarily difficult puzzles which are obviously just there to fill time and make it seem longer. Assuming you were somehow able to complete the puzzles quickly, you could potentially zip through Reverie in under an hour.

I'm definitely going to get Resurrection though, I'm excited to see the events that lead up to the final ending in the main game, this is going to be awesome"

Based on that, I think I'll skip Reverie and bite on Resurrection.

Zombie Apocalypse:NDA: Everyone should try the demo on that one. It's drastically different than the first in that this one you're actually walking along a path the entire time. It feels much more like a top-down Left 4 Dead.

Everything Castlevania is gdlk. I bought HoD over a year ago on here and played it with CAGs and had a blast. Recommend it if you havent picked it up yet.

SOTN is amazing, I hadn't played that either and got all 200. Yay Richter mode. and I still have a sealec LoS from the 8 dollar best buy sale, but DLC for it is tempting at that price.

Still waiting for RE4/CV and Half Minute Hero to go on sale though. =(

Resident Evil 4 & Code Veronica are on sale for $10 each on PSN this week.

Thank you, OP, for posting deals as you're aware of them. Have a backlog of msp, haven't bought any "deals" in a long time. Actually gonna pull the trigger next week with ZA: NDA and B:LA. Keep the deals posted, as soon as ya hear them! :)

I'm already committed to the House Party promo... so im downloading now. I'm in too deep to pull out.

This will basically determine whether going for them all were worth it. Alan Wake was 'good', i'm enjoying Warp, Nexuiz sucks hard. I Am Alive will be the decider.

You must have phrased hat sentence awkwardly. I am reading it as: "I have not played the game yet, but I already have the 200 achievement points".

The game is so good it gives you 100% gamerscore by just thinking about it.

I thought he meant he hadn't played the original release, but still got 200/200 on XBLA.

I'm fairly certain he meant even having never played SoTN he still bought all 200 pieces of overpriced (see "RICHter") DLC for HoD.

Just beat lords of shadow and the final cutscene made almost no sense, let alone bridge a gap into these two pieces of dlc. Im confused, but ill still buy them both. Great game.

From what ive read the first piece of dlc is sorta like a side story, while the other continues from the epilogue and finishes the game. Can anyone confirm this? If so ill just buy the second dlc and ill have enough to get nfl blitz.
I thought he meant he hadn't played the original release, but still got 200/200 on XBLA.
LOL. This. Although I'm not too shabby, just thinking about it could have netted that 200 as well. ;)

lol, no, I only bought the DLC (thank god there wasn't 200 pieces) when it was a gold sale. I am a cheap ass, after all. :p and yes, yay Richter. xD
I am Alive seems like a hit and miss according to reviews..
Well there is a trial (demo) for the game. I read somewhere that said there was not but I am downloading it now to check it out. If I like it a lot I might just bite the bullet and buy it today.

Edit: OK Demo has been played. I would say from what I played I can wait for a sale but I am definitely going to get this game at some point. The controls are decent but the confrontation mechanics are a bit hard to get used to. Knowing when to confront and when to walk away is usually pretty easy but knowing when to pull your gun, how long to hold it out (some guys will rush you if you don't do anything), and what type of "finish" to engage in can be frustrating. I think with time it would get better though as you learn what to do. For you purists out there it seems that there is a limited amount of time you can play a level (hopefully not the entire game) and you have only a set amount of time to use a checkpoint before starting over. The climbing felt good and the environment while washed out does convey that sense of dread. Hard to say exactly how good this game is but a 7-8 sounds about right, especially considering it is a $15 Arcade title. Anyway, that is my short 2 cents.

that is good. i hope it will be on sale on the xbox also.

Got both of them the 1st day they came out, haven't touched any of them, since I already have a huge backlog lol $1 but whatever)

If you have the option to buy games also with points instead of your currency it would be fair if the price was the same all over the world...

*sigh* well anyway I didn't regret it!

I have Warp and Alan Wake but not interested in Nexiuz and now I'm wondering if I should bother with I Am Alive.. I mean I know I'm getting 800 points back but not sure if it's even worth it and maybe I should stick with these 2 games. Sigh.

Nexuiz is a turd in my opinon, after giving it like 4-5 hours of play. Getting into a game is already difficult... can't imagine what it will be like in a few weeks. It also doesn't replace players when they leave the game, and doesn't even support 4v4 matches as it's supposed too. It's honestly really bad.

So the question you really need to ask yourself is whether you want to pay 1200 for I Am Alive.

Sweet, def getting the two Lord of Shadows DLC's.

Question since they didn't put the Mass Effect DLC on sale prior to the release of 3. If you play the third game and then later on get the DLC for the second part, will that affect your game in 3 or will those actions be ignored since you started playing with the info before you played the DLC. Basically will you have to start 3 over in order to get those actions incorporated into your game?

Don't know if this is a deal of the week or a permanent price drop but Hydrophobia went down 50% to 400MS points on March 6th.

When you start Mass Effect 3, you import a save file from Mass Effect 2. From that point forward, your "past" is locked-in and can't be changed. So basically, yes, you will have to play the DLC on Mass Effect 2 and then import that save file to Mass Effect 3 and start a new game.

Anyone have any experience playing general knoxx dlc? I am wondering how long it is? At least 10 + hours? I dont like buying the 4 hour DLC that most people put out. Thanks

I was hoping I'd get the 800 points back before the Konami sale next week, but it looks like it's going to take 4 - 6 weeks before I see that return.

I wish the Castlevania dlc was discounted on psn too since my Lords of Shadow copy is PS3. Ah, well.

i finished it in a few hours with 1 other player, the best borderlands dlc imo

you'll get your money's worth because it involves alot of driving from one point to another. u can't simply teleport around like in the main game. though sometimes me & my friends just quit out of the host to just 'fast travel' back to T-Bone Junction. (if i recall other players quit before the host does is to allow the other players to save their game data)

personally i found the driving bit a slight chore, but the new areas are fairly interesting and the DLC does have a fair bit of content. especially when u attempt to break Athena out of the Lockdown Palace. The dialogue there is just golden, especially the viagra drug reference.

general knoxx was ok, its REALLY artificially padded by all the travel you have to do by foot or by car, which to me became a real annoyance. I liked the Zombie one a lot more.

Depending how much you want to do in knoxx, its probably 4-6 hours. I'm not sure what $5-$10 dlc gives 10+ hours of gameplay.

General Knoxx is a must for weapon farming. You get some of the best loot in the game.

So, I'll look into that after lunch tomorrow
I think the studio is closing it's doors. So a final price drop to bring in some money makes some sense.
