I second this suggestion. Quarrel is an excellent choice for 400 MSP.

Piling on the common feeling here in the thread, the latest "deals" have been lame beyond measure.
I kind of like it though as it makes it easy to sit on points and work on my backlog. ;)

i choose not to, why pay for something when i can get it for free with some simple clicking?

i would listen to my music or the podcasts regardless, may as well earn free microsoft poins simultaneously while not dwelling on the deal of the week like many of you do and saving money, which is supposed to be the point of this site

you could also do it while watching tv, it's a little tedious but it doesn't really feel like a big waste of time, i have saved hundreds of dollars and don't feel guilty for wasting money on xbla games that weren't enjoyable

i spend my money on important things, i don't consider giving my money to a billion dollar corporation like microsoft (the developers of the games i buy get paid when i use the points on their game) to be important

if you assume i don't have a good job, you must not either considering you are on a site that revolves around saving money

I know it's been said before in this thread, today, but I think this may be the weakest deal of the week I've ever seen. And there have been some bad ones.

If you get the bug, only way past it is to delete your game save and lose all your progress. I just deleted the game from my HDD.
 
Has either Mega Man 9/10 or BC:Rearmed 1 ever been on sale? I've been holding out for a couple months in hopes that either one would eventually be a part of the DotW :|

Asked the day it game out, didn't get any good reviews from anyone on here. Since its not on sale on GoD I'd hold off to wait for the disc copy if you really want to play it. I've heard from people that its boring. I think I'm just going to hold off to see if I can find it one day for 10 or under.

NBA JAM kinda tempts me, but it's been 800 before and I could see it going to 600 eventually... keeping it CAG yo :lol: Could use a sale on Guardian Heroes right now after loving X-Men and The Simpsons Arcade

Played and beat it in about 4 hours or so. It's all quick time events, and a little bit of selecting areas for people to look at items. The story is interesting, but overall I would say it is not worth buying. I was cracking up a lot at the idiotic ways people got killed if you didn't do the quick time events correctly.

NBA Jam is one of those games you just need to have on your xbox so you can play a quick game now and then.

Well, the other thing is I actually own NBA JAM standard on PS3. I've heard this is better so I'll pick it up. 200 MSP isn't worth risking it not going on sale anymore.

Thing that surprised me with Serious Sam. I first played the original xbox versions where you could stockpile extra lives like crazy. While the 1st episode isn't too bad (2 is much harder imo), it did surprise me when I first played the XBLA versions that it always set you up with 3 lives or whatever.

agreed. i bought this the last time it went on sale for 800 msp and i think its worth it. also, they just came out with a second roster update in the past week that moves players around from the trade deadline deals and also adds some players (rookies and other players who have had great years).

Edit: And thank you everyone for the advice on games, I always have a hard time finding the gems in the indie games, most just aren't worth it. And quarrel looks interesting as well.

cause if there isn't then this is just a nomal weekly release of a game and nothing more.

also is The Walking Dead Episode 1 still going to be released on the 25th april

AFAIK, the incentive for Arcade Next is "buy 1, receive 400 promotional MSP back"... well, at least if the rumor spread by Xbox 360 South Africa is true! :)

if that is real then there is no real incentive to buy all. good if you want one of the games.
would this also have a facebook game like the other promos or is this different then the past ones

It says in there that, like 99% of Microsoft's best rewards and deals, this 400msp deal is only available to first time Marketplace customers.
