Oddly, my 3DS streetpass greeting is "I'm from Mars".

I don't need any video, I just find it odd I am left out. I wish they would post clues/hints like last year. I appreciate all the kind words, helps me keep smiling when MS drops a huge sale and the OP needs updating.
Oddly, my 3DS streetpass greeting is "I'm from Mars".
That's just pure awesome.

I would also like hints for the upcoming sales.
Looks like Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas add-ons are tomorrow's deal if the xbldb site is to be believed.
Huzzah! They are on my buy list.
looks like fallout 3 and fallout new vegas add-ons are tomorrow's deal if the xbldb site is to be believed.
lame!
OWB DM and HH and other fallout dlcs are on sale!!
That sucks I really want these and Christmas has drained all my money :( Oh well maybe next time lol
Family Deals have never been family exclusive, they are just gold exclusive. Think of them as an extra one week gold only sale.
Ah. Thanks for the clarification (and thanks for putting together the awesome xbldb site!).

I agree..they didn't discount the most recent add-on. I wonder why. And fallout 3 add-ons are veterans...they were on sale last year during same period for 200 points each or something like that.

I hope this time everyone that wants to buy the Fallout DLCs does so. I know there are a lot of you out there cause it seems every few days someone asks about Fallout DLC! Cross it off your lists now!!

haha! I just realized through reading this thread that there is another Fallout DLC. Didn't know about Lonesome Road, now I do, and can buy it.
This.
Thanks guys, I do my site so I won't miss any sales and to make sure things haven't been cheaper before. I figured if it was useful to me it would be useful to others, might as well share.
Hmmmm buy all the New Vegas DLC or wait until the Ultimate Edition goes down in price..
If your backlog is anything like mine, wait til Ultimate drops.

I still want Gunrunner's and Courier's Stash. Only $6 when not one sale (and it's not currently showing as on sale) so I might grab it now since it is useless once I finally finish off FO:NV

I know I should have waited to buy FO:NV complete edition but since I have already bought 2 of the DLCs when they were $5 a piece I might was well finish it off.

After hearing about "ultimate/GotY editions, I usually buy them used from GameStop, install the dlc, and return them for a refund.
What are the chances of a 75% off sale on NV? Also what is the best NV dlc?
I think it took over 2 year before the FO3 DLC got a 75% sale. Most likely you will see a complete edition before 75% off.
Also what is the best NV dlc?
A while back I posted asking gamers to rate the expansions from best to worst. IIRC, the general sentiment was Old World Blues > Lonesome Rd. > Honest Hearts > Dead Money > Gunrunner's Arsenal.
Hmmmm buy all the New Vegas DLC or wait until the Ultimate Edition goes down in price..
I'd wait, its a single player game and will surely drop eventually.

I'm glad to see the Fallout: New Vegas DLC go on sale. Already snagged the two when they were on sale before and now I can get the other two main ones. I would have liked Gunrunner's to go on sale, too, but I guess it's only $4 so it won't kill me.

Still, $2 would have been better! This is Cheap Ass Gamer, after all!

Fallout New Vegas DLC on sale? Yes! Now I can get the Lonesome Road after months of waiting. Wish the Gun Runers Arsenal and Pre order packs were on sale too.

Exactly, it's 320 point price may as well be 3200. I would have bought it at 160, but I am not budging (probably not true, when I go to buy my remaining DLC, I will likely grab it while I am at it..I am weak).

I don't know if anyboady caught this "hidden sale", but there's a couple of Indie Games that I saw were at a reduced price. Yeah, I know not everybody goes for the Indies, but there's quite a few \gems hidden under most of the mediocrity.

Twin Blades is normally 400 MSP, but I believe it was on sale a couple of months ago at 200 MSP. It's currently 200 MSP, not sure when this happened, but I found it out earlier.

Also, both Soulcaster games are 80 MSP each when they are normally 240 MSP a piece, if I'm not mistaken. There may be others, but I only spotted these ones because I was actually interested in buying them (and now they're on sale, sweetness!).

Looks like the drop of those is an experiment on the part of the developer: http://www.magicaltimebean.com/
One week ago, on December 13, I dropped the prices of my first two games, Soulcaster and Soulcaster II, to coincide with an article I wrote for IndieGamerChick (later picked up by Gamasutra). The short story is that Escape Goat wasn’t selling as well as I hoped, and my hypothesis was that it was because it was priced at 240 MSP instead of 80 MSP. The sales figures are finally in, so I can report what’s happened so far.

Bottom line: the price drop resulted in a staggering increase in revenue.

Twin Blades is a fun little game. It's a hack'n'slash side-scroller. If you have a Windows phone you can get the game for $3 and it has achievements. (Though the controls aren't as great as the Xbox version.) Personally, I'm hoping more Xbox Indies make the jump to the Windows phone.

EDIT: How did you find these, by the way? Just randomly looking?

Just picked up Broken Steel for Fallout 3. I actually finished the last side quest for Fallout 3 yesterday, so this is perfect timing. Are the other two dlcs worth buying at 400 msp?

Point Lookout is a must-buy, Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta are underwhelming.

GOTY copy of FO3 available at AWD for $15. Might as well sell your copy and get all the DLC. (I recommend it all, EXCEPT Mothership Zeta. Trudged myselg through it to get my 1550/1550 and Platinum) If you know someone with a copy, download and install the DLC disc to your drive and it should be good to go, regardless of your current games' state.

Saw this list on a German site (http://www.looki.de/xbox_live_marktplatz_xbox_deals_wann_kommen_welche_angeboteae_update_n89977.html) that claims to have a roadmap to the deals upcoming, including today's Fallout deals, but it's possible the article was written after Fallout was discovered. Nothing listed for tomorrow, so it sounds slightly shady, but a good read nonetheless.

12/22/2011: Fallout contents
24.12.2011: Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition
25/12/2011: Fruit Ninja Kinect
12/26/2011: Forza Motorsport 4 content (including Season Pass, avatar items)
12/27/2011: Reach Halo content (including Gond, packs, avatar items, etc.)
28/12/2011: Sonic contents
12/29/2011: Red Dead Redemption content
30/12/2011: Gears of War 3 content (including Season Pass Add-ons and avatar items)
31.12.2011: Call of Duty contents

It also seems odd to have a sale on the Gears 3 season pass, and "only" Fruit Ninja on Christmas. Take it with a grain of salt and re-evaluate it on the 24th when that deal is announced. Figured it's something though. Don't shoot the messenger if it's fake.

I hope the 30th and 31st are true. The other days though are a little lackluster (Some of it I have but some of it doesn't appeal to me). Last year was a lot better with XBLA games and DLC on sale at the same time each day.

Agreed. Fallout 3 is one of my all time favorites. Definitely get Broken Steel and Point Lookout. The Pitt is decent, and IMHO zeta and anchorage arent worth the time.

Picked up both of the New Vegas DLC packs I was missing (Old World Blues and Lonesome Road). I may just bite the bullet and buy Gun Runner's Arsenal at full price, but I'll at least wait until I boot the game up again.

Wow if this turns out to be true that would be AWFUL. I wouldn't end up spending a single msp. Way too much dlc. But not gonna get worked up about it yet, just hope its not real. :)
