• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

People loved Jerry Springer and Duck Dynasty, too. This is a show in a long line of esoteric reality shows that will go away in a year.

I've never understood why people love watching others fail, or be idiotic or insane. To me, these shows are for the people who gawk at car accidents.

It's funny that we both used the metaphor of car accidents, when actual car accidents I never even glance towards because by the time you could see anything is also when you can finally speed up and I just want to get on with my trip. The closest I get to road rage is actually that moment when others are rubbernecking and I just want to hit the gas.

I always hated Jerry Springer and any other Honey BooBoo Duck Dynstasy terrible moron reality shows. Tiger King mostly hooked me because its absolutely baffling to me why someone would want to own exotic pets, let alone a god damn tiger that could rip your throat out in 2 seconds. Just get a nice friendly dog, wtf.

For the record, I think the "Carole Did It" storyline was purely reality show drama. It reminded me of Paradise Lost and how it tries to set up the step father as being the killer, when in reality he just got excited to be in a movie and they kept egging him on. Like I said in my first post, most documentaries are really heavy handed with their "proof" for some wild theory long since dismissed by people with actual access to evidence. Also, I'm a filthy liberal and am fine with murders walking free if it keeps innocent people out of jail. Joe Exotic seemed full of hot air imo, I think he surrounded himself with criminals and when they got in trouble they threw him under the bus to save their own skin. Then again, if the snakes he sent her had killed her I'd have no issue calling him guity.

I want to play more Doom Eternal and try the new Ori, but I'm really sucked into Slay the Spire right now. Such a fantastically good game. I just want something familiar to play to zone out and not think about work...

I like how people claim to be above certain standards but then probably watch other shows that are just as bad. It's all about preference. You have fictional shows about serial killers, drug dealers, and murderers that people like. Is that really any better? You have shows where women (or men) line up to be picked by someone to be their romantic partner for the remainder of the tabloid season or until product endorsement deals expire. How is that better?

The interesting thing about something like Joe Exotic is that it gives a real life glimpse into some people's character, selfishness, self-obsession, obsessions, etc. Especially when it's truly inflated. This is what we watch in fiction in all the time, so of course it's natural to want to see the real thing on display.

For me, at least, it's not about wanting to watch people fail. It's about realizing that there are truly twisted people out there with such different thought processes than mine and such different ways of life and different outlooks on life. It's a character study to try and understand how someone got to be the way they are and why they make the decisions they do. The beauty of Joe Tiger is that it has so many different "characters" to try to figure out and they are ALL messed up.

Your mistake is thinking that fictional characters are the same as real-life people. Someone who is a ing asshole in reality is a bane to existence, and you are actively participating in helping this wad who apparently molests and abuses young men into a position of power and influence. So yes, my standards are clearly above yours.

I never need to spend any amount of time "realizing" just how awful people can be with all the shit that goes on in the world. People who spend their lives helping others might get one segment on Good Morning America that nobody even sees (like this guy who spends his life fostering terminally ill children), and that is the sort of behavior we need to celebrate. But instead, people like you watch killers and sociopaths, and their actions become more distributed and they profit from it. I don't participate in that shit.

I practice what I preach by donating time and money to help others. But the braindead way "normal" people act easily makes me sociopathic.

I love seeing people's setups. They make for great inspiration. I really like the TV stand and would like to get something similar for my living room someday. This is my game and movie area which still needs some finishing touches but it gets a lot of use as is. 130" screen and 7.1.4 surround sound with a 1080p projector and X1X.

I switch them out. I pick them up from my local theater and from the Disney rewards site. I have 7 up and 4 more framed to switch out, then I have some more I still need to frame. Hopefully some day I will be able to get some cool older posters like Indiana Jones or Star Wars.

People sent love letters and gifts to Charles Manson, and those probably did get boosts following new documentaries and whatnot. I think most people still see him as a monster tho.

I think you missed the point of my comment. My point is that all of it is trash and those who justify watching certain trash over other trash because it's fiction or not as bad doesn't make it any better. Fictional shows that degrade women, glorify violence, promote drugs, etc. can have just as much of a harmful effect on society as a real-life Joe. I would heartily agree that we would all be better off turning off the TV (or only watching wholesome information such as the foster parent you mentioned). I don't believe I said anyone's standards or decisions were better or worse. The point is that if someone is going to claim to justify that watching Joe Tiger is somehow less wholesome and less useful than watching Game of Thrones or The Bachelor or Breaking Bad, I have a hard time understanding that.

I managed to get one yesterday for the Japanese version of the game on PS4, but they are also giving away codes for the Xbox One version. The American and UK codes get used right away, but they also had Japanese codes and Korean codes that nobody was claiming. It might be worth it to make a secondary account, set in another country, so that you can scoop up a free copy, when they release more codes.

It's like Destiny, where it has a single player mode, and online stuff. You can actually play completely single player with AI bots if you want to.

Was it the error about clearing local storage cache yada yada? If so I'd try a factory reset but the one that allows you to keep everything installed. I had that issue a couple years back.

If you like Mega Man, have you tried Teppen? It's a mobile card game starring Capcom characters, and Mega Man X shines here. The setting isn't as fun or cheery as most Japanese games, though - even Ryu from Street Fighter kills people in this game. I like it as a "what if" spin-off you usually see for comic books.
