• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I had fun playing that weird little game. The quest itself takes maybe 3 minutes to complete just by beating 3 very easy and quick levels to complete

I wanted an achievement so I went ahead and did 10 levels it's and odd game but very fast pace, fluid and fun for a few minutes jumping around the trucks

So really nothing changed for most of us, but now I won't be able to go to the movies and video games palette in the frozen food aisle at my local Wal-Mart on Black Friday and say my annual joke of "Man, look at all the cool deals!" Decided to try a couple of those demos. Hellpoint has some promise as a Dark Souls set in a Doom like world. 9 Monkeys of Shaolin is a fun 2.5D side scrolling fighter. Downloading a few more that look interesting.

I find this extremely unlikely. I doubt they will include the driver code at all, so a Kinect will probably do absolutely nothing if connected to a Series X. To do otherwise is to invite confusion and support calls for an unsupported product.

I don't remember. I was clearing out minors and getting their scrap stuff when I was finally able to hit start to open up all the rewards I've been getting. It took me to a gameboard type thing and I was able claim all the stuff I'd been earning like kill 15 mirelurks and shoot 70 robots or whatever. I got a couple of care packages with more than enough junk that I needed to build the Armor. Feels good to finally have it. I spent most of my time in power armor in Fallout 4 and being able to carry a lot more stuff is nice. I leveled up pretty good during the extra XP event so I am getting better armor and weapons.

The audio of the holo tapes is too low. I have to always crank the TV volume to hear what they are saying.

The game board is part of the new season thing they are doing to try and get more people to play. So you only have less than 7 (I think) weeks to unlock everything. It's a major grind. I hit level 73 today, which took many, many hours of XP farming to achieve this soon in the season. I can't wait until I hit 100 because I'm going to stop playing 76 for awhile. Prior to the season I was logging in every day for the daily atom challenges, but with those gone and the score challenges rewarding me nothing after I hit 100, I have zero incentive to play until the next grindy season starts. I've done everything I care to do, the Daily quests and Events are boring and too repetetive, and what little content they are releasing in the next month or so isn't going to get me to want to play any more since each patch just breaks more things than they fix. There is close to a dozen perks that flat don't work right now since the last patch. The only thing they care to fix ASAP is duping glitches. The whole SCORE system for the season is broken because they never bothered to fix a bug that has been in the game since March 2019, that causes the daily challenges to autocomplete randomly not giving any SCORE points (or atoms prior to the season start). My girlfriend lost out on every daily yesterday, worth 2500 SCORE which is a whole SCORE level for her. We both also HATE Nuclear Winter, so we will both be ecstatic to not have to play it every day for a daily challenge.

Absolutely this. They don't have to go out of their way at all to not support kinect games if they simply don't support the kinect at a hardware level. You can boot up a kinect game, but if it didn't already have controller support you'll just be stuck at the menu screen.

I would like them to support it down the road, but I think it makes a lot of business sense to not make any mentions of kinect that could remind people who were soured by the increased price tag it carried with it.


Superhot Mind Control Delete is fantastic. If you didn't like the first game I don't know if this will win you over tho, it reuses a ton of assets: character models, environments, weapons, throwables, etc. Its fun tho. I like the hacks that get incorporated into subsequent runs. I like that the enemies come from new directions, the first game was almost a puzzle shooter with being able to memorize where enemies would spawn in. Super. Hot! SUPER! HOT!!

Clustertruck was first released as a mobile game. It was annoying on my Shield TV, and it's still annoying now. But someone got the bright idea that they could re-release mobile games as console games and charge full price for them. At least it's a Game Pass game that you didn't pay for. But still.

I actually had a lot of fun with Clustertruck ~2 years ago when I played it with an ex-partner. I was glad to see it had a console port, but lost interest when I realized they didn't include an option to invert the look. I don't know if it got patched, but I'm so used to inverted controls that when a first-person game doesn't provide the option, it's impossible to adjust.

I think maybe your kids are just dirty? I have had all 3 levels of Xbox and haven't ever had a single problem with any of the drives. In fact i retired my stand alone player and just use my One X now as it is better overall. The dashboard is a different story though.

There are just too many things that require daily logins. I'm already doing that with Microsoft for getting points and MLB the Show 20 so doing it also for Fallout is just too much for me.

I ran into kind of a funny but annoying glitch. In the Beckett Quest before I went inside his jail I explored around and found two keys. I went into the jail and opened it up and talked to him and he told me I had to find a key to let him out. I was literally standing there with the door open talking to him and the game still made me go out and go get the key all over again even though I already got it. I then went back in and had to close the open door and open it again for the quest to go on.

Unfortunately us Fallout players just have to deal with bugs. Surprisingly, Fallout 4 didn't really give me any issues that I remember. There was only one glitch with a quest with a robot with like making beer or something I couldn't finish. He was down in a basement and wouldn't respond to anything. It wasn't a main Quest or one that ruined a trophy so I didn't care.

I agree. I really don't like the push for Live as a Service for games. Way too much you can miss out on if you don't play regularly or worse every day like many games are these days, which is just impossible to do for every game a person might be interested in.

Yeah, that's a dumb bug that shouldn't happen, as the key shouldn't have spawned until after you talked to him. I know for a fact since I tried to skip talking to him on one character but the key wasn't there until I did go talk to him.

It's been so long since I played 4 I really can't remember too many of the bugs I encountered, but since I played it for several thousand hours over the years I know I encountered plenty.

BTW, since you like the extra carry weight that Excavator PA gives you, I thought you should know every PA has a plan for Calibrated Shocks, which gives each leg an extra 50 carry weight, including Excavator. The plans cost several thousand caps though, as well as 5 Violet Flux per leg to craft which requires farming nuked fauna and flora. I modded all my suits with them, except for my Strangler Heart suits on two of my characters due to the lacking the plan on them. Strangler Heart uses the same plans/mods as Ultracite, and Ultracite plans only drop from the Scorchbeast Queen and even less likely from regular Scorchbeasts. Can't trade the Strangler Heart pieces either, otherwise I'd move them over to my one character that does know the plan. I think I had to pay 18000 caps from a player vendor for it since it has never once dropped for me in all this time.
