• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
• On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Sony expects the PS5 to sell 120 million units in it's lifetime, and they estimate it's lifetime to be pretty short compared to their previous consoles, only about 5 years. Meaning that we could see the PS6 in 2025 or 2026. Since Microsoft has put all of it's chips into streaming Xbox games anywhere on smartphones, or using your PC and Xbox One to play select Xbox Series X titles for at least the first year or two of it's existence. It will be interesting to see if they also release a new console in 2025 or 2026. Nintendo has already stated that they see the lifecycle of the Switch being 6 or 7 years. So, it's interesting to see Sony go the opposite direction. Most Sony consoles had a lifecycle of 7 to 11 years practically in the past.

yeah - I am bummed about this one. I have the disc and actually installed it yesterday so it would have been awesome to not need the disc when I start playing.

Missed Psychonuats as well but just finished Rime, startet it in 2018, it's a short but good puzzle game, was missing a few collectables, luckily you have a chapter select when you finish the game. A few of them are easy to miss without a guide. Or searching every nook & cranny.

It is a thing, most of the time those keys are given out by developers/publishers or Xbox Team members though. Keys generated by buying from the microsoft store are always region locked to market it was bought in...but there are still ways to work around that.

How so many points? I’ve only been getting about 15K per month and I do most everything I can, including game pass quests. The only thing I don’t really do is the punch cards that require a certain amount of purchases to be made because that would require me to spend more than normal

Right now I am not super excited for that Avengers game. Something seems off to me. BUT...as a mostly solo player I love the idea of using AI characters that come from my own stable and have my builds and equipment. I just hope the AI is done right and not overpowered or straight up stupid. This is definitely a wait and see game for me.

Flight Simulator sounds like it’s amazing. Wish we’d get an update on the Xbox One release. Also wish I had a decent enough PC to play it with GamePass but have a feeling mine would choke.

My PC should fall between the recommend and ideal so I'm curious how it'll run Flight Simulator.  It has ran everything at 60 FPS or above on ultra settings so this will be the one to finally push it.

I guess it depends on the player's tastes. I'll admit that Disgaea isn't for everyone. It's intentionally goofy/stupid and is very grind-heavy. But as someone who primary plays jrpg's and also bought-in to GPU, seeing stuff like this and DQXI announced is exciting, dood.

Of course Persona 4 would be better, but at least anyone can go buy it on pc for $20 now.

I only played Disgaea 1 & 2 on ps2 and I thought they were terrible games and avoided the series since.

I just finished Final Fantasy Tactics on Mobile and that retranslation was incredible. Since that or Tactics Ogre remake ain't coming on consoles, I might play D4 just because.

Well it's not F2P just yet. Not everyone has EA Access. EA Originals like Unravel and A Way Out usually take a lot longer to reach the vault then regular EA games (minus SWJ which never even got a trial).
