• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
• On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Just finished Yoku's Island Express. Fun, cute game. Now I gotta decide if I want to 100% it before it leaves GP.

Depends are you an achievement hunter? You still have time. It's only a few more hours depending on how much you did during your main playthrough to collect all the rest of the witherlings, chests, scarabs, post office boxes and side quests. I really enjoyed the game world so to me it was not really a bother.

That's just a tad too small for use on Xbox One, unless they've lowered the requirements to something under 256GB.

I'm torn: I really want to love this game because of the Tomb Raider series, and I used my Best Buy GCU coupon to get the total down to $38, plus a $10 rewards coupon - so the cost of entry is very low for me.  But, with all the hate this is getting from Xbox players, it may hit Game Pass much sooner than Just Cause 4 or Shadow of the Tomb Raider did.  I guess I'll dig into the beta on the 14th and make a decision then.

Can anyone explain what the hell I'm supposed to do on the first jumping block puzzle in The Touryst?  I've watched a few walkthroughs of the game on YouTube, and it appears that the sequence of the jumps is completely random.  And the fact that no one seems to want to add commentary to any of those videos isn't helping either.  Thank you in advance to anyone who can answer this question constructively.

Edit: I figured it out, but this game is so obtuse that I don't think that I will have any fun with it.  Just not my kind of game.

I went ahead and grabbed the relisted delisted costumes so that I can have a complete version of the game. Not something I would normally buy but I am a fan of the game.

Kind of funny but I’ve actually found the puzzles in The Touryst fairly easy. And I’m not good at puzzle games.

I know there were people who played some of the Fallout games pacifist style. Quite difficult though.

The only one that came to mind was Costume Quest 2. The Candy Corn outfit has an alternate attack that builds up if you don't attack. Actually, if I remember correctly, he couldn't attack until his special attack meter was full.

The only DLC that was delisted were the Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect outfits. Everything else was always available AFAIK.

Getting Yakuza (at least the first 3 + 7 now) on Xbox is one of if not the most impressive thing Phil has done in his tenure IMO. It's on the same level as Mass Effect, possibly even better. Easily the most impressive exclusive franchise PS had to offer. Playing through Kiwami 2 and its just another masterpiece of a game.

Why would anyone want a Shenmue game after 3 flopped? Phil hasn't been in charged for that long, so there's no reason to assume these games would take anywhere near as long to come to Xbox now. Xbox is getting a new Yakuza game later this year (launching the same time it does on PS4).

Kiwami 1 is almost entirely serious, Kiwami 2 brings back the humor and serious storytelling and 3 is mostly serious with hints of humor sprinkled in are my personal experience.

0 is definitely the most like that. Kiwami has some ridiculousness but not nearly as much. Kiwami 2 is definitely the most similar to 0 but in the new Dragon Engine which imo is way better. Love both 0 and K2 deeply though. After that 3-5 are more serious with some humourous side stories. 6 was pretty good about the side stuff being more realistic but still very very funny and just awesome.

Yakuza is one of my favorite series' but 0 and kiwami 2 are definitely my tops. 0 had this freedom to just go all out and it really shows. Not sure how far in you are but I hope you enjoy it

I've been using my playstation 4 alot lately and while I still would rather game on Xbox One for the most part, there are some problems with this thing that are seriously pissing me off.

Right now I'm trying to clear space off my HDD and for whatever reason, it won't uninstall the games. It lets me select uninstall, then 5 minutes later I get a message asking if I really want to uninstall and a few minutes later I get a 'Give it another try' message.

And speaking of messages, the message center on xbox is just busted. Sometimes the chats take hours to update and several minutes just to load up the message menu. This is all on a high speed internet connection on an Xbox X console.

I gave up on using the power armor. Got tired of trying to find enough fusion cores to power it. Checked out some youtube vids but the best I would do on each of the runs was maybe 2. Combine that with the fact that the game doesn't let you see your water and food meter and how you move much slower than walking means it's not worth the extra strength for me. The game should make fusion cores easier to find. I don't know where any material is needed for making them either. I just have a better time with the game not in the power armor. I am at level 40 now.

Cores aren't too difficult to obtain really. I've never wasted flux to craft any either. Every time Line In The Sand event pops up I do it because you get two near 100% charged cores for completing it, I also drag my GF's character there and park her inside Fort Defiance for an extra pair. Fusion Generators are in many places and have a chance to spawn a core, just like any place that has a chance to spawn a chassis will have one in it unless someone else already snagged it. They also have static spawn locations that you could check for using a map online, I only know of a couple myself. The "easiest" way to get them is to take over the three power plant workshops, they generate one every 7.5 minutes and can hold up to 3 at a time. You need to either do the horrible powering up event for each one though or have the plans for the fusion generator since it requires 100 power. I finally burned through my stockpile of 600 cores after I started using Gatling Lasers heavily, so I just take over all three on a private server so I don't have to worry about anyone taking my workshops. I don't waste time defending them either, the retake event that it transitions to is easier and rewards more XP, though as long as they still pump out cores I don't even bother with those events, just grab and run. I think the last time I did that I was on for 5-6 hours and had almost 60 cores. Would have had more but I wasn't checking them very frequently.


Cores drain from a plethora of ways. Moving, running even faster, jumping, pressing the VATS button, firing in VATS, as well as using a jetpack. Near level 50 is a perk called Power User with three ranks when maxed will double your fusion core power. I always have it on my PA characters, as well as batteries included maxed so they only weigh .3 pounds each.


As for what it shows you, I don't believe you can see your water or food meters all the time outside PA anyway, just during certain conditions. You can always check by bringing up the pipboy anyway. There is a setting in the menu that can make it look pretty close to what it looks like outside PA if you prefer, it's what my GF uses when she used PA. I'm not sure what you mean by moving slower, that only happens if you have no cores, you move just as fast as someone not wearing PA as long as it is powered.

Looks like xCloud will only be on Android and not iOS due to Apple ‘rules’. Sucks, I would have tried it on my iPad.

I downloaded Destroy All Humans to my 360 during the Games with Gold period. Booted the game up, it plays fine. Perhaps the change is only affecting those who downloaded it (whether GwG or 'Oman style') to Xbox One?

SEGA screwed up and GamePass Ultimate members can double dip on the PSO2 perks right now. They even posted on Twitter that people won't get in trouble for redeeming them. Minus a few situations (one in particular) where I had no idea what they wanted me to do, I agree that the puzzles themselves were pretty easy and kinda whimsical. There is one with a lot of jumping / easy death which is harder to do the perspective and not-great jumping physics but it only took a few tries.

I was going to go for 100% but the arcade games ruined my patience. They feel easy but after losing the racing game multiple times I decided I didn't care.
