• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I've never actually done the main stuff in an elder scrolls game. I always get distracted by something, look a squirrel! For Skyrim I got sidetracked becoming a necromancer and hoarding dozens of bodies that I could use my dead thrall spell on. Spent way too long researching what levels you needed to get them by and which bodies were permanent or could be made permanent. Few hundred hours in and maybe 10% into the actual game. Lol. Maybe I should go finish some of them up someday.

I just loot every single item I can carry. I slow walk for an hour back to a town to sell my 2.00 wheel of cheese and go back and get more. Ive played it on three systems. Put about 100 hours in. Get to where you have to pick to be a rebel or not. ( like two missions in ) and stop playing. I get tired of slow walking for an hour with a giant wheel of cheese and only getting 2.00. Man come on! I walked for a hour for this! This is bad as gamestop prices! I mean come on! Who else is going to walk this giant wheel of cheese to your ass! What a rip off! I knock over the display and then glitter bomb the place.

I was wondering I'm seeing all these posts and things about how unplayable cyberpunk is on Xbox one and Ps4 but my question is that exclusively for the base Fat models? I ordered Cyberpunk to play on my One X but now I'm second guessing myself. Is it better and playable on the One X? Don't plan on playing it immediately so might wait for some patches anyway but not sure if I should consider alternate options to play

I've experienced NO stuttering or discernable slow down or any other performance issues AT ALL, if there was pop-in, I didn't notice it, and the only thing that's happened that I could even remotely classify as an issue is, after an early mission it didn't complete and trigger the next step/new objective. I quit and reloaed and it was back to normal, which is how I even saw it was an issue in the first place.

Are you able to quit once it’s not fun anymore? I wasn’t. I put probably 30 hours plus into the game more than I should have. It’s an enormous world that barely has any variety. Despite growing tired of both the scenery and lackluster quests, I just couldn’t stop playing till I’d done all the “main” stuff, including the expansions and getting all the achievements.

I Think I did like 50 hours on my 360 run before I just realized I had no idea how or when this game will end and I just stopped. I Enjoyed it, but for once I had the epiphany of "What am I doing with my life?" With that being said, maybe if I pace it better with other games I think I'd enjoy it more.

That's great to know. I play on a 55" 4k TCL so it's a decent set up but it sounds like maybe the X1X doesn't experience many of the same issues as the base console version so that is a pretty good sign to me. Still might wait for a patch.

I'm still working my way through Yakuza but to be honest it's wearing me thin. At first I was loving it but now I'm really missing the original brawler combat. Just feels like there's so much grinding I have to do for level ups and money that I'm losing my patience. I'm up to chapter 10 out of I believe 15 so I'm close but the last boss battle really made me grind a bit and I'm just so not a fan of that. Story is great but gameplay is taking its toll. I'm tempted to switch to CP but not sure I'd ever return if I do that now. Guess we'll see

RE the Skyrim talk...

Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time. I never got bored with it like others have mentioned. I think it is a game that is fun to experiment with different character types. There are so many options. My favorite character to play is a stealth thief/assasin. You can have a lot of fun if you build a character you enjoy playing. That is my experience with the game anyway. 

I have no idea how many hours I played on 360, but it was a lot I am sure. I got the XBox One updated one a while back and jumped in and had fun again.  It is a game that requires a bit of a time investment though and that is why I have not went back to playing it more recently. I have some other games I want to play. I can still see me going back to Skyrim again in the near future.

Back4Blood definitely seems like an unofficial Left 4 Dead 3 but WWZ seemed like more of an evolution of the original formula.

I wish he'd do another Riddick movie; they were actually not bad, with Pitch Black being pretty fantastic IMO. Perfect Dark is DOA as far as I'm concerned. The last time they made one of those games I was in college, and that sort of 4-player couch co-op scene is very much dead now. Ditto on Disco. Back4Blood I may try out if it's on Game Pass. Otherwise I'm not hyped at all.

5 hours in on 1x, have a very different opinion. Character models look unnecessarily basic. Chugging fps. Feels like an original xb1 title that was never 1x enhanced. Have had about 10 game freezes, half of which caused the full game to crash. Last straw for me today was encountering a character called Dumdum. This character model glitched and had strobing lines flashing out of his torso for an entire cutscene. Im done until they patch this. Can't do it.

I love Dirt 5! It’s probably my favorite arcadish racer in years and looks great (on my Series X at least). Easily the best Dirt in years IMO. But I like the more arcade handling.

I bought it because you were praising it, and I haven't regretted it one bit. It's a very enjoyable arcade racer. I have no experience with prior Dirt games. I don't like every race type, but there's plenty variety that you don't have to participate in the types you don't like. Also playing on XSX.

It's such an odd combination of serious and silly. With all the performance issues and comparisons for Cyberpunk, I may wait until the Series X version comes out. Or at least until I have a week off at the end of the month.

Yakuza is definitely a game you could stop playing for a month and pick up again right away, the plot and mechanics are very straight-forward and sometimes feels more like a Japanese soap drama.

I don't see a reason why you would post for recommendations if money isn't an issue. Alienware is one of the best and most expensive brands out there because they have good space-performance design and thermals, and you seem to be able to afford that pedigree. Why not get it?

If you're actually looking for recommendations or alternatives, then this Lenovo Legion is only $999. Same CPU, but a 15.6" 240Hz screen with 2060 (-14% performance from 2070 SUPER) and a 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD instead of a 1TB SSD. Half the price and better battery life, can still play almost all GP for PC games.

FWIW, I do my PC gaming on a desktop I built for ~$1400 that's much better than that Alienware, and then I have a $750 gaming laptop I bought a few years ago that I use when I travel. Would rather not carry something expensive around that can be stolen or damaged.

Oh 100% with you on it being a Japanese soap. They all feel like that in a great way. The stories and characters are so lovable. Like A Dragon has me at a point where I am feeling a bit burned by the grind right now so I'm probably going to take a short break to try out Cyberpunk and see how it is before going back and finishing Yakuza

I have the m17r3 and it is nice. I had the 17r4 and bought the most expensive warranty. The screen stopped working earlier this year and alienware replaced it with the m17r3 which is the latest model so the warranty was worth it. I would highly recommend getting the warranty if spending a premium price.

I don't remember seeing this many bugs in the analysis video before, they even advise to wait. Series S performs amazingly well for what you get, which is very nice to hear for the future. 

The seizure update is just a more prominent warning screen. The Braindancing scene is the same.

Great timing! I was about to put Cyberpunk on hold. I've had 2 crashes, 5 15s or so freeze ups, a few NPCs that couldn't decide if they were sitting or standing in a dialogue, and I clipped through a wall after getting bull rushed in a fight. On top of that, the textures are just kinda flat on X1X and I felt like I was depriving the game of the opportunity to really impress me.

Bugs can be fixed and performance should take a step up when I get the XSX. The RPG mechanics are interesting and have a lot of depth, gunplay is solid, guns sound great and enemies register impacts well, the setting is cool and beautiful, the voice acting is engaging, the dialogue options feel like more organic choices than goodie two shoes vs intolerable jackass, and I'm having a lot of fun for the few hours I've made it in. Probably played 6-8 last night, but half of that is my usual MO in a RPG: reading through skill trees, comparing trousers, picking up every styrofoam cup I can find*, and talking to NPCs who just tell me to get lost. I'm really digging the game, the issues I've had so far can be patched but the core of the game is solid.

*Not for environmental purposes, but so I can hoard materials until I get a few more skill points to squeeze every last crafting component out of them.

When I got into Dex’s car on PC it looked a lot like that Xbox screenshot he tweeted. I have it all on Ultra, no ray tracing. It looks way better indoors and at night, so I wonder if that scene was supposed to be at night but a bug made it daytime? Or it being daytime bugged the shadows? Beyond that, the only bug I’ve encountered so far is one time Jackie walked *through* my car to get to the passenger’s side.

My mate got a really large and good TV for his Series X and he is extremely annoyed by Cyberpunk how it looks and everything. I really like it on the One S now after progressing some in the story (the begin wasnt very good). It really picks up after meeting Keanu.

I like all the detail like the car details and of course the city, and how all the different people look. Too bad you barely can interact with them.

Turned off Additive Camera Motions which helped alot. The game was actually real stressful on my eyes when it was still on and I asked Xbox for a refund and got it immediately. I was offline with the xbox and havent gone online again yet so I can still play. Its gotten better but not sure I would rebuy it, I dont think its really worth $60 for having so many elements to it that just arent fun. Like that braindance stuff. I get it they wanted to expand on the Witcher 3 senses thing, but it didnt really work for me. I also dont get the skilltree at all its just boring to me.  Theres nothing I even want to unlock. I almost gave up before meeting Keanu and see alot of people do and are really dissapointed by the game, and especially ps4/steam users are going REALLY mad they mostly get their refunds denied.

I actually started to see Watch dogs legion in a different light because that is actually very fun to play.

Like that spiderbot "mission" in Cyberpunk? Come on. That was just boring.

I think its a good purchase for like $20 but thats just me. if you consider the work they put in of course you could say its worth more. Also if you see it under artistic/cultural aspects its kinda a masterpiece. Like all the different tv channels you can watch. But like the city it may be a masterpiece but how does it add to the experience for the player? Not really that much.

Fun gimmick, if you remove clothes in the car you can play nude. Now just need a 3rd person mode LOL
