• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I have a quick question for Xbox Series X owners. How man usb storage drives can you hook up to the system? I have two 2TB drives hooked up to my old VCR Xbox One. Does the Series X allow you to connect more than one drive?

I couldn’t find an answer via search. So I thought I could get some help here. My Series X just arrived and I was planning on hooking it up later tonight but I’m hoping I could hook up both drives. Thx.

FYI you can also use a USB hub to connect a maximum of 3 drives if needed. The maximum size of all combined drives is 32 TB. I know this because I’m crazy enough to have that much storage.

I just played through the Immortals Fenyx Rising Stadia demo to see if the game's for me, and it sure seems like it! I'm pretty well set on buying it as part of the XBL sale, but now I'm wondering if I should just spring for the Gold edition... I have plenty of rewards points that I could redeem to buy it out of hand, and then I don't have to try to figure out another $10 game to finish up the punch card, but is it really worth the extra $26? I know the DLC packs aren't out yet, but I'm throwing the question out there anyway.

I've played over 80 hours of Cyberpunk on One S, my 2 cents in few words:

The open world design is incredible, story is intense an characters are interesting. These are probably the best i've ever seen in a videogame. The gameplay is fun, especially once you level up a little and get some augments, you get pretty good at moving, shooting and hacking.

My biggest complaint is how the city is not very interactive, it's awesome to look at, but the poor NPC AI and very few open world interactions are unimmersive. On the technical side, it's the huge frame rate drops when in vehicles in the denser parts of the city and the occasional game crashes. (I still feel the game is not as buggy as Fallout or Skyrim, even way past launch)

I haven't had many graphic bugs, but the car physics, with crashing and stuff, are rough around the edges.

Overall, it looks like a potentially great game in beta stage. I'm having fun with it, but like I said here before release, anyone on the fence should probably wait 6 months.

Edit: Oh, and forgot to mention, the music in this game is multiple eargasm!

Beta stage what do you mean? What beta did you play for 80 hours before cyberpunk?... Its just a giant hate fest on Cyberpunk from people who are easily influencable/love to join in on general opinion and clickbait youtube hate videos lol

I mean its easy 500k clicks on yt if you are somewhat popular and make a Cyberpunk hate video. A love video will maybe get you 10k views.

Its like 2020 the world turned into mass insanity and if people cant rage or get a new gigantic drama they are bored and make some shit up.

This is probably going to make me sound like a privileged jackass ... but the Series X (as it is right now) is kind of underwhelming. Setting it up, it felt a lot like I was just plugging my 1X back in. Surprisingly, the new controller feels cheaper to me than the controller I sold with the 1X ... maybe it’s just lighter but it has more of a cheap plastic feel, kind of like the original PS2 controller had a much more robust, high quality feel than later versions of the same controller.

The set up process with the App was interesting but kind of annoying as it took a couple tries for the console to connect with my phone. And it just looks exactly the same on the dashboard. I’m excited for its future potential ... but at this immediate moment I’m more excited to try out the PS5 and it’s next gen games.

For me at least with Ubisoft the gold edition hasnt been worth it for quite a few years. FC5, Odyssey, Watch Dogs 2.... i enjoyed the games alot but found the dlc pretty meaningless (FC5 vietnam was kinda cool for a while tho). On the other hand the gold edition will usually be much more discounted than buying base game and season pass later. So prolly best to wait til the gold edition is reasonable discounted. Fenyx doesnt seem to sell particulary great so should be $33 soon enough or at least more discounted than now. I agree it does look like a very interesting game.

Are there some 14 day GPU trial codes that stack and some that are only for new users? The reason I ask is because I bought about six months worth of 14 day codes for $35 and not only did they stack, every time I redeemed one it said I would get a free month if I turned recurring billing on.

I didn't really think it was doing what it was doing but sure enough, instead of extending me six months it extended me nineteen months lol.

This seems like a pretty big deal so I wanted to point it out because I thought those codes were only for new users. I have no idea the origin of the codes as I know some products are offering them with purchase.

Thats the problem... every1 just like to jump on hate bandwagon... i didnt play cyberpunk i returned my copy i had it on ps4... but i will keep my mouth shut until i actually PLAY it. my dad is lawyer and he said that there may be a class action suit against the developer... he is lawyer in Gaithersburg it is not his firm he said another firm somewhere else is investing a possible lawsuit... so we will see. But i will wait until a series x or ps5 version is release until i give my opinion... like i said until then i will keep my mouth shut but like i also tell people dont preorder game because you never know even if a game is hype if it is good or not... trust me i learned my lesson with enter the Matrix. But if this get refund why do something like watch dog legion not give refund. I ran into many glitch with save progress being lost which p****ed me off so bad at the time so i traded it in.

I am actually tempted right now to get a ps5 and cyberpunk on disc but they dont have ps5s available here at all since a couple of weeks. I did look up footage on a ps4 pro and it doesnt seem like a huge improvement over what I currently have on xbox one s. Still might bite, I really am excited to see what the game is like if you play it just from disc without any day0/day1 patch.

Class action lawsuits arent really a thing here in europe and Cyberpunk is from poland i think ? So i am not sure if that would work. Maybe if they sue the publisher which is Warner but frankly Cyberpunk team has done more than they should with offering all these refunds. Alot of games are way more buggy and these companies have done nothing just as you say.

Just as you mentioned Watch Dogs Legion. They advertised it as getting an online mode on december 3. Since this didnt come ,wouldnt this be a refund reason also for false advertising?

The stuff I'm talking about has nothing to do with engine power so I doubt that should be dramatically different on PC. I've seen shootouts and all sorts of stuff but it's all scripted. I'm talking about basic freeroam interactions present in games since over a decade ago. I mean, you can hardly even sit in this game unless it's scripted. And the food vendors and bars are basically useless outside of story events.

I also have pretty decent crowd density on One S, just not while driving. Markets and rush hours are full of people and cars, if i'm walking.

I checked again and my driving density seems normal. Also cars don’t disappear. Tried everything to see if they would and they haven’t. Definitely different on PC.

Honestly I’ve never even thought of sitting in a game or wanting to hang out with food vendors or whatever. I want to go do fun shit around the city like shooting people, sneaking around, etc. Its an action RPG not animal crossing.

I would love some Animal Crossing parts in open world games. Like the base building in AC Valhalla but fun.

Also being able in an open world game to sit down at all restaurants and bars definitely would improve immersion for me. There should also be like alot more random dialogues the NPCs have and general interactions, tho I have seen some in Cyberpunk they were very few.

I agree it would definitely help with immersion but that would require a shit ton of more computing power for the systems on top of systems that would require for that to be meaningful.

Base building is also complicated to implement and it’s often done wrong and limited and just get annoying. Example Fallout 4. Base building was fun for the first hour than it was just dumb.

It’s a weird, quirky game but has a highly addictive gameplay loop. Basically you get 2 minutes (sometimes more) to roll a ball of constantly growing junk around a level. What makes it addicting is you start on a desk in one level, picking up things like erasers, pencils, etc. By the end of the level you might be rolling over houses and have a giant ball of stuff.

It’s not high concept but it’s weird and fun. Graphics aren’t amazing ... but it’s impressive to grow your ball of junk and destroy everything in its path.

I grabbed a $50 gift card from my wife’s account with bing points. Wanted to have her account gift me sonic adventure 2 and sonic unleashed as my son has been playing sonic games. Both games are part of the holiday sale.

Worst case will use some bing points and grab them on my account. Trying to use the $50 on wife’s account to get the 5,000 bonus points.

I went back to it after this last update and a lot of the title update contents are not starting for me in the game (the LEGO Chirrion and Top Gear one to be specific) but the later updates are installed and available in game. It's best not to ask too many questions and just play it, I think the more it's explained the stranger it will seem. it's one of the best games of the PS2 era, and yes the music is amazing.

I think Katamari qualifies as one of the last truly great examples of “weird stuff from Japan” as a viable genre.

Control Ultimate Edition for $20 since I missed out on the last sale and the next gen upgrade release date finally surfaced so I won’t play it till I get a Series X.
