• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
• On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I used to love the Midnight Sons line of books as a kid and outside of guest appearances, Wolverine/Iron Man/Cap were never part of the line.

I hate that I feel like I'm the ambassador for this game, but Boyfriend Dungeon has been patched and all of the achievements unlock now.

To clean up, the outfits achievement should unlock when you start the game up.

you'll need to craft one hat at your crafting area (Home) for another achievement.

Then there is one gift item to buy at one of the shops in the overworld map (Left side of map) for the final achievement.

I was playing on my SNES mini last night and thought, man, I hope some day we get a Japanese version of Phil Spencer that ends up head of Nintendo and unlocks Nintendo’s backwards compatibility potential.

My Samsung 4K knew I was plugging in my Xbox One and PS4.

On my smart menu it assigned it an Xbox icon or a PS4 icon after I plugged them in.

I'm playing through Blair Witch now. Achievement guide requires two playthroughs anyway, I'm almost done with the "bad" ending. But I agree, this seems like it should be the "good" thing to do.

The game is pretty good, I didn't even know it was Bloober Team until I started paying attention to the creepy photos. After playing through the Medium and now this, I'm tempted to play through more of their other games, I was really enjoying Observer before it left Game Pass.

I was thinking about buying Observer System Redux, but then I realized... Observer (2017) left game pass, then we got Blair Witch (2019). Now this is leaving, will it be replaced with System Redux (2020) or another Bloober Team game? Maybe I'll wait to see.

For me and some others, it did not go away without issue. When the due date came up, everything I did acted like I no longer had GPU or XBLG. This was because even though I had extended my GPU with a few years of EA Access, some parts of "the system" did not recognize that my subscription was extended. I opened a case with support (which went nowhere) but the only way for me to get back to normal was to extend my subscription further by redeeming a code for x months of GPU.

I'm surprised they haven't fixed this yet.

I swear it worked once, maybe the first time they had that punch card, but I’ve definitely wasted some money trying it since then. I did find, however, that gifting from the XB website works (or did in the past, can’t confirm this one yet), so if you know a friend who needs the current season, gifting them $10 worth of silver will do the trick.

While the immediate gut reaction of MLK in Fortnite is to feel it’s appalling and tacky, the fact that it will contain the entire speech and that some kids out there, whether through passive listening or actually watching it, might take away a positive frame of reference or better understanding of the speech itself makes this less awful than I thought it might be.
