• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I also started Guardians of the Galaxy and it's great.

Yeah I just finished Chapter 1 and it's so well made. Immediately familiar for anyone whose seen the movies but the changes to voices. I think I sat on the opening for 10 minutes listening to 'Star Lord.' I look forward to playing more.

It gets even better because of how the team relationship and dynamic evolves over the course of the game and the MANY funny conversations. Also no spoilers but I loved the ending. The whole thing is just SO GOOD.

Trial - Road Racing - C600 Rare Classics - Used the 1961 Jaguar E-Type (639 890 203).  Good speed but bad handling and braking.  Team swept.  Messed up a turn in the first track, dropping from 2nd to 7th.  Team got into 2-6 early in the 2nd race, I was 6th and just held off the AI.

Guanajuato Racetrack EventLab - S2 998 Extreme Track Toys - Race against 9 drivatars.  Says 5 laps, but it ends shortly after starting the 5th lap.  Laps are around 2 minutes.  Used the stock Lambo Sesto FE.  This is a case of a decent track ruined by the car restriction.  Too many short stretches and tight turns for these kinds of cars.  Stick to the inside on the first turn of the lap.  The outer wall has an edge that will catch a drivatar and cause a 3-4 car pileup.  That screwed up my first attempt, and I restarted midway through the 3rd lap when I saw I wasn't making up any ground on the 3 leaders.  Second attempt I got into 3rd relatively quickly, 2nd midway through the 1st lap and into 1st early in the second lap.  A battle to the end.

Baja Mil Dirt Championship - D500 Buggies - Tried the VW Desert Dingo at first, but that thing rolled too much in the scramble.  Slot car AI didn't have problems.  Also had the AI on Unbeatable for some accolades yesterday, dropped back to Pro.  No problems after switching to the Baja Bug (102 179 510).  Note that the weekly challenge car is not classed as a Buggy, it's a Cult Classic.  Someone on the Forza forums mentioned the FE version works for the weekly, but that's in Track Toys.

These are most of the people I've seen enjoying the show. Either no previous knowledge of the series, or just casual playthroughs of some of the campaigns.

From that perspective I'd probably only be complaining about how they're using Cortana and Chief's anti-helmet policy, at least on the adaptation aspect.

Wonderful news. Daredevil S1 and S3 remain my favorite of almost any live-action Marvel stuff. Charlie Cox is great in the role, I think I actually shouted when

To the point about burnout, I remain an MCU faithful, have seen every movie and show (minus Iron Fist, ew) and still look forward to every release. I wouldn't say I'm burned out by Marvel but I can see how people are. The main issue is the current stuff feels pretty unfocused with many of the core characters gone, and a lot of scatter-shot multiverse stories. The recent shows have just kind of been fine, with Wanadavision and maybe Loki being the only more interesting takes.

I do like She-Hulk and Ms Marvel a lot from the comics, so I hope they're good.

I do think Disney needs to tighten up their output if it's going to be so frequent. If you like both Marvel and Star Wars there is almost something every WEEK on Disney+. More bangers, less "it's fine".

Just got done with the Uncharted movie. Honestly I found it fairly entertaining. There are issues for sure but overall it was a decent adaptation. I think a sequel could actually be better now that they have established the character.

I really enjoyed Uncharted more than I thought I would. i wonder how much it cost to make, those had to have been some of the best special effects I've seen in awhile! Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 41% review score but 90% audience score which makes sense. If you're a fan of the games or action movies in general then you will enjoy it.

Also Halo season finale was straight fire!

One of my favorite shows in the past couple years. It helped a lot that I had no idea about the source material, so the show was a complete surprise to me. Funny enough, I was watching The Boys when I happened across it and never finished season 2 of it because Invincible pulled me straight away. With season 3 about to drop in a month, it's probably time to jump back in.

I can't wait for a new season of Invincible.  Never read the comic and was completely sucked in by it after that last scene in the first episode.  That show is Metalocalypse levels of brutal.  

Endgame was such definitive conclusion to so much that came before that now everything after almost feels a little unnecessary.  There's been great stuff to come out since Endgame; both Spider man movies, Hawkeye was a lot better than people gave it credit, Loki was easily my favorite show.  My excitement for it all has died down and it no longer feels like you have to see the movies/shows right away.

I haven't played anything in about a week.  Crazy week for me.  I got the platinum on FC6 a couple weeks ago maybe now.

Will probably play Guardians of the Galaxy or Life is Strange True Colors. 

At some point I want to pick up the new Tiny Tina game and maybe some day play CyberPunk 2077.

And the Forza Horizon DLC when it comes out.  

This likely gets me into the fall if not even further.

I just hope they actually get through the story. There are 144 issues of Invincible plus a spinoff and a few mini-series, and I think season 1 gets to roughly issue 13

I can think of a couple arcs that could be cut or shortened, but there are some I would like to last longer. Like there was a big gimmick at some point that was "let's do what would be a year long event at Marvel/DC, but in a single issue". Cool idea but it led to one of the most rushed stories I've ever seen.

I already own AC Origins so the GP add doesn’t affect me but I’m definitely excited about diving back in with the 60 FPS update likely hitting next week. Seems like good timing to add that one IMO. It’s my personal favorite of the three.

I loved Invincible and it’s probably one of the best comic series from the last couple of decades. The show was good and did the comic justice.
I was pretty much done with the MCU before Infinity War. Thor Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy were the last two I enjoyed. What Marvel’s put out since has been meh at best and others just bad. I was holding out hope for She-Hulk just because she is a great character and has had great series but that trailer was awful. DC hasn’t done any better. Out of the most recent releases, Zack Synder’s Justice League was great and Suicide Squad 2 was ok, Batman was meh but Birds of Prey was one of the worst movies ever. I’ve read comics since I was a kid so superhero stuff is my wheelhouse but between the quality greatly diminishing and the genre being over saturated, I’m burnt out.

It went full on 80's Frank Miller Batman, but it kinda does convey the problem with DC where The Batman had a more hopeful ending than the damn Snyder Superman stuff. DC I feel is still slowly figuring it out, but they're also at the just as bad as Sony with the "throw everything and hope it sticks" like them almost green lighting a ing Wonder Twins movie with a goddamn $75 million budget. Marvel I feel I'm more burnt on the Marvel formula of big event movies, where you have to keep up with nearly everything to understand everything and you had to do it on a schedule less something get spoiled. Though I would kill if Marvel were to do something with X-Statix.

I’m hoping Aquaman 2, Black Adam and Shazam 2 turn out good. If they don’t I don’t see how they turn it around. I’m real disappointed with DC for seemingly just abandoning Henry Cavill and Superman. He did a great job and Man of Steel was one of my favorites of the modern DC movies.

There were some good throw backs to Long Halloween and even Hush. Penguin felt like a waste because he was so well done but it’s obvious he is set up for a sequel. I hated what they did to Riddler. He was sort of a mix between Zsasz, with a hint of the Court of Owls mixed with Anarky. It was too long and felt anticlimactic.

I Think my only real complaint of The Batman is it forced in a big action set piece for the sake of big action set piece for the last thirty minutes and it showed. That and if any movie needed a mid-credit and end credit scene it was this movie. It kinda pulled a Return of the King with them just adding too much instead of letting it breathe.

I am curious about The Penguin HBOMax series and the sequel as well since if the rumors are true that he's going for No Man's Land type story in the sequel, but I imagine it'll be more closer in feel to Year Zero in just that No Man's Land is so dependent on Bat family and the large rogue's gallery.

They couldn’t do No Man’s Land justice with what they have now. As you said, they’d need the whole Batman family from that time, I fleshed out police force with the great characters at the time and the villains too. I’d love to see NML as an animated series. It’s too long and complex story for to cram into one movie. You make a good point about how the ending was a forced action sequence. It felt rushed and was a massive departure from the methods Riddler had been using. It didn’t fit.

Thanks to anyone that gave input on repairing the hard drive on an xbox. Decided to skip an ssd since it's not used as frequently. Cost under $60 for the hard drive and adapter to plug it into my PC. Only annoying part was I managed to strip a couple screws which I'm sure I could find replacements for.

I am tempted to pick up a series s though and selling a one x.

I wouldn't say I'm burned out by Marvel but I can see how people are. The main issue is the current stuff feels pretty unfocused with many of the core characters gone, and a lot of scatter-shot multiverse stories. The recent shows have just kind of been fine, with Wanadavision and maybe Loki being the only more interesting takes.

I do like She-Hulk and Ms Marvel a lot from the comics, so I hope they're good.

I do think Disney needs to tighten up their output if it's going to be so frequent. If you like both Marvel and Star Wars there is almost something every WEEK on Disney+. More bangers, less "it's fine".

I Really, really enjoyed The Batman. It went full on 80's Frank Miller Batman, but it kinda does convey the problem with DC where The Batman had a more hopeful ending than the damn Snyder Superman stuff. DC I feel is still slowly figuring it out, but they're also at the just as bad as Sony with the "throw everything and hope it sticks" like them almost green lighting a ing Wonder Twins movie with a goddamn $75 million budget. Marvel I feel I'm more burnt on the Marvel formula of big event movies, where you have to keep up with nearly everything to understand everything and you had to do it on a schedule less something get spoiled. Though I would kill if Marvel were to do something with X-Statix.

I'd argue that every Disney Plus series has been pretty consistently good, although Falcon / Winter Soldier felt like it could have been shorter. They really learned from the Netflix shows that less is more, give me six episodes with the same budget instead of spreading it out across 10-12 episodes.

The CG definitely looks less realistic, especially in Moon Knight during that truck chase, but ehhh. It has become a tad formulaic, but it hasn't reached the point of anything DC has done in terms of feeling disappointed.

Except The Batman. That was great.

If the Series S had 1TB, I would have done this a year ago. Still might but ughhhh. The difference in performance (favoring the One X) isn't that significant to me and really only matters for a handful of games

I already own AC Origins so the GP add doesn’t affect me but I’m definitely excited about diving back in with the 60 FPS update likely hitting next week. Seems like good timing to add that one IMO. It’s my personal favorite of the three.

AC Origins is a great game. I got the full 1000g back in the day. I remember watching let's plays of the game on youtube and i could always tell instantly when it was running on PC because it looked so much smoother. 60 FPS will be a very welcome addition.

Very curious to see what MS will be shadow dropping in a few of weeks. Have a feeling more Ubisoft games are coming.
