General info
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
    On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?
Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :
  1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
  2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
  3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
  4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
  5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.
The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I Haven't gotten mine either, but saved the order confirmation screen just in case.

And you know, I can justify that Optimus much more after the whole Transformers series where they need to be kissed by pre-teen girls to transform, so I'm okay with this after that questionable series. Though I demand to see waifu Devestator.

 
I know Fall Guys is crossing with Rocket League and Halo, but are there any unlocks for in Halo Infinite? MCC H3 gets the backpack, that's the only content on the Halo side I've found.

There are weapon skins as twitch drops this weekend.

No, cross promotion with the brand new live-service must be too hard to create so it's only for the 8 year old game lol.
 
I hope i'm wrong, but I have a feeling that 3 months of GPU for $1 promo is ending in 6 hours with the older batch of sales...

My GPU is expiring in 24h.

My GPU expires 7/17.

What I'm trying to figure out is this:

Apparently, a number of users were uncovered who’d been stacking the standard version of Game Pass’ introductory subscription offer and converting it into Game Pass Ultimate

are they only referring to those who subed using the 3 months/$1 offer and converted that to GPU or also for all of us who did the 36 months and converted to GPU. They didn't mention those who had Gold and converted those to GPU.

For those affected by this please post what you originally converted.

edit - I just read Rockabye's post so it doesn't seem to be directed at those who converted the 36 months Gold/GP to GPU.

The MS FAQ says it was a PC Game Pass offer that should have only worked once and got abused. What most people do here won't be an issue.

 
Welp, I got COVID. My GF's oldest has it & one of the kids in my daughters class has it too. This is the hardest of the 3 times I've gotten it too. I can barely breath, back hurts, feet hurt, dizziness......basically feels like a different version of being smashed. Seeing as I don't drink anymore, this is not a good feeling. Was just getting ready to start my secondary nighttime job too. Blah

Good news, the daily 50 point reward finally started registering. So I got that going for me, which is nice

If you want a different way to cheat the system, you might be able to get unlimited $1 offers (a month at a time) if you sign up for Game Pass through the Xbox app once your subscription expires. Just remember to turn off auto-renew and let it expire before you check the Xbox app for the $1 offer again.

Hope it passes quickly and you get well soon. We are going through our second round of it in my house as well. The first time I had it was out of work for 6 weeks. This time wasn't nearly as bad on me but my wife is having a hard time of it, guessing because she never got her booster shot. COVID gets pretty rough, good luck getting well, drink lots of water and if you haven't been to the doctor yet go and get an inhaler.

 
I know it's trivial but nothing grinds my gear more than waiting an extra day to know what is leaving gamepass it seems like it's been happening more lately. It shouldn't be this hard..../rant

if they don't announce which games are leaving game pass today,that means it goes until Monday correct?

This is obviously done on purpose, it's by design. I don't even start a game that's slated to leave Game Pass unless it's either extremely short, or I'm already close to the end. They are obviously hoping that the game leaves GP before you get a chance to finish the game in an attempt to get you buy it.

I liked Contrast. I actually bought it just before it came to GamePass. It was Compulsion's first game and came out 10 years ago. It had a very creative idea and to me that's most important when it comes to video games. I'll settle for a little bit of jank if I can get something unique.

Currently playing through Omori. All reviews heavily warn about staying away from spoilers and playing blind so that's what I'm doing.

Could be Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday in the US. Could also be tomorrow though, since they’re wacky as heck with when they announce these things.

I hadn’t realized it was so old until I was looking up it’s achievements. The concept was good but for the platforming, the controls drove me crazy. I almost put it down for good a couple times. It also reminded me how much less a fan I am of puzzles in games than I used to be.

Cris Tales seems kind of sudden but it's actually been one year already. Carrion was on the service for two years. Highly recommend playing it FYI.
