• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Playing A Plague Tale Requiem and so far it is pretty good. They haven't really improved much on the game mechanics from the last game from what I played so far though. It also took a few minutes for my eyes to get adjusted to the lower framerate.

I'm playing it as well. I loved the first game, but there is something tonally off with this one. Amicia is over the top angry, and it is making her character hard to like in this one, where in the first game she was adored. Also, it seems they stripped out the finding of relics and dumbed down the upgrades, or at least it seems that way so far as I just finished chapter 3. And the level design seems less thought out, which leads to frustrating things like getting stuck or going the wrong way.

I had super high expectations, but as you can tell, I've been let down. It is still a good game, but it is not what I had hoped it would be.

Anybody else had trouble redeeming Argentina codes lately? I got one today, used the same VPN I've used in the past (PIA) and it was giving me the Different Region error. I used a VPN that did NOT work for me in the past (TunnelBear) and this time it worked.

Maybe I didn't notice this before, but on the redeem code page it now puts your email and region:

I wonder if Microsoft is looking to curb out of region code sharing. I'm certainly seeing more issues redeeming these codes as of late, even though trying several times still gets it to go through.

Green Hills Speed Zone - S2 998 Ferrari - 170mph (3 stars is 160) - Hit 173.32 with the 1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione (179 735 371).  Ran east to west starting from the small dirt road close to the east end of the zone.  Oddly, the game had changed my top speed for the set, setting it at 124.7 with a B class car.

River Run Speed Zone - S1 900 Lamborghini - 100mph - Managed 103.09 going south to north in the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP-670-4 SV (720 362 080).  Started from the turn on the paved road south of the zone.  Hit the zone around 122 and was able to keep the speed up through the turns.  Since that's an accolade / wheelspin car, I also tried the 1986 Lambo LM 002 (949 349 145).  Topped 106 going the same way.  Handling's not the best, coasted the turns.

Pyramid of the Moon Speed Zone - S2 998 Bugatti - 130mph (matches 3 star speed) - Hit 130.6 with a stock 2019 Bugatti Divo.  Ran east to west, starting between the 2 dash dirt roads east of the zone.  Did it when the road was dry.  Tried it when it was wet and slid all over the place.

Honda Civic Type R - Road - A800 2018 Honda Civic Type R - No issues with my tune (114 061 290), though I didn't get into first in the first races until around the 85% mark.

I’ve been waiting for this since they announced it. I even stopped my playthrough on my PS4 then and have been knocking out certain games just in preparation for the amount of time this will take up.

What do they do? Make a creative choice with graphics vs fps and it blow up in their face? I don't think they set out to make a bad game or make you feel like you are wasting money. With the popular opinion that this game is bad without playing it, I don't think my buying it will make a difference. It baffles me when people defend one game with bad reviews and say to never pay attention to them, then take the next game and dog pile on it without playing it.

I have never played Bayonetta. Have read a handful of articles on this and don't think its a huge deal or immoral. They claim they offered her more than $3,000 total. More like $15,000. Claim she wanted residuals. Sounds like a contract dispute. Couldn't come to an agreement and she didn't sign. No idea who is lying nor what is "fair" or customary for voice work on a game like this. Now she seems to want to mess with their sales.

I have no dog in the fight but as far as immoral acts I just don't see it. She wants to move on to the theatre and they moved on to another voice actor.

This controversy wouldn't factor in decision to buy this game or not.

My only issue is every time I start the game it makes me set course to the new story, which I already finished. I do appreciate how for the 10 year anniversary they decided to bring back the Syncing Data screen from FH3. The only thing wrong with it is it doesnt spend 10 minutes syncing the data... yet.

Platinum themselves have said very little until today's statement defending Hale. I would guess they leaked the documents to Schreier since they couldn't legally address details.

Kamiya (one person but he is VP of the company), responded poorly because of his dumb Twitter block bit.

Platinum has always been pretty bad at stuff outside of actually making gameplay, and even that is only when their core teams have solid leadership. If they had been proven in the wrong harder here I might be out, but I'm fine with where we are on the Bayo front.

If you are out I get it, but unless we get something closer to the Activision situation I'm still on board for their good games.

I have no dog in this fight either. Some VA don't believe the offer of $4000 dollars per session for at least 5 session either. That would come out to about $1000 per hour which seems on the high side for VA. It could just be that Platinum lowballed Hellena Taylor to try to move on from her for the more popular Jennifer Hale. They did say that the reason was due to conflict of schedules which we know isn't true. The game has been in development for 5 years. You mean to tell us you couldn't find time to do the VA some time within those 5 years? Really? Why not just be honest from the beginning that a deal couldn't be worked out with Taylor so they had to move on. Sometimes VA don't fit the vision of the developers for the game for whatever reason like Kojima wanting to go with Keifer Sutherland instead of David Hayter as the voice of Solid Snake despite Hayter being the voice of the character we've grown to know and love.

Personally I've soured on Platinum when they stole Microsoft's money to go fund their Sony and Nintendo games. Can't really blame MS for having no games when the developers they pay to make them a game fails to deliver. Platinum always seems to favor their japanese buddies. Surprised we even got a port of Nier Automata but I had already platinumed it (no pun intended) on my PS4 by the time it came out on Xbox as I suspect most others had as well.

Where did this rumor that Platinum embezzled Microsoft's money come from? I see it mentioned often on Xbox-centric sites, but no one is able to source it. That sounds massively illegal.

"Dude, trust me" is the source. Bayonetta and Astral Chain were published and funded by Nintendo. For "Sony" games I assume they mean Nier and Babylon's Fall, which were both funded by Square-Enix.

My issue is when I start the game it always loads to the Hot Wheels map. It should be loading to the main game like the previous Forza games.

Mine did that until I went to Mexico and changed my active house.
