The Stadium Events listings are getting ridiculous. fuck these con artists, trying to rip people off. Some bastard in NYC is offerin $20 for it, $30 if it's complete. "Check your attics and basement".

Then some other douchebag, thinking he's slick, puts an ad up "looking for Nintendo games", and makes a list of 4 games he's specifically looking for: Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Zelda, and Stadium Events. Yeah, okay...you're REALLY fooling people there, buddy.

I seriously think I'm going to start printing copies of the cart label to Stadium Events, putting them on the crap NES carts I can't dump for even $.99 (Mario/Duck Hunt/Track Meet, anyone? Hey, World Class Track Meet is Stadium Events anyway, isn't it?), and selling them to these moronic craigslist sheisters for $50-$100 a pop.

I have two things to say about the "Stadium Events" craze. First, there is probably 1-2 out in the wild that the owner doesn't know about and anyone has a better chance of finding a case of unopened Earthbounds in an abandoned warehouse.

Secondly, (for us scumbag resellers) every Soccer Mom and Quasi Collector now thinks they are sitting on a gold mine with any POS no controller blinking light NES console and sports game.

It was mentioned a little further back in the thread but when the hell did necessary connections become a premium item? Cables on eBay are dirt cheap so if someone was like "it's an extra $30 with the cables" I'd tell them to keep them because after all what the hell are they gonna do with them? Make an art installation? This shit happens most with the XBox 360.

There was a guy selling a super nintendo who did that. He said the system was $30 and if you wanted the tv hookups you would have to give him an extra $20 because they are "hard to find"

Have to admit, I'm too polite to do that, but... I'd like to say I have World Class Track Meet which is the basically the same thing except that you can get it anywhere for a dollar. If this is a real person that actually does want the game for nostalgia and doesn't have a lot of money, then they would thank me for hooking them up with the common alternative and saving them hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
 
NES had a lot of games I spent countless hours on but I can honestly say I wouldn't want to spend any time on them nowadays. I'm sure many kids who played that really hard TMNT game now have low self esteem hahahaha.
 
Has anyone else run into Gamestop employees selling store credit? There's some guy here who says he can get you any amount and then list prices he wants in cash. I'm thinking of baiting the guy just to report him because he acts like such a choad.

I myself have very little money, but I will contribute every dime if I have to. The bottom line is that I am a good person and have spent all of my life wanting to be a racecar driver. But I have admittedly been intimidated by the prospect of actually taking the next step. I have procrastinated for many, many years now. Friends and family of mine probably saw this as a sign of me not wanting this dream enough. The truth is that, it was never that I didn’t want it enough; it was simply that I was too afraid of failure, and too afraid to throw my self out there at the mercy of other people, hoping someone would take an interest in my life. I’m older now, less afraid, and ready for the realization that being a racecar driver truly, may never be for me, but I still don't want to give up just yet.
