Yet More Craigslist Stupidity!

If you think that's a rip-off, I'd give you $45 shipped for it right now :p

Of course I can see where you're coming from, I got one way back when it was $29.99 :)
I paid $40 for my mint complete copy and thought that was a rip off. $200? Yeah only if it's sealed.
$40? My condolences, I paid $3.99 for my mint complete copy and I was very reluctant to pay even that much.
If it's sealed, maybe... Otherwise, correct thread for your link =P
I'm not the seller unfortunately.

"NO MORE NASTY EMAILS PLEASE!" Isn't that just inviting them? Asking $300 for an NES bundle of commons is definitely asking for it.

Original Nintendo (NES) system w/ 18 games and accessories (Hesperia)

Date: 2010-04-30, 8:36PM PDT
Reply to: [email protected] [Errors when replying to ads?]

Original NES Game system with 18 games and accessories! Works to my knowledge, it's been boxed and not played with for years. I remember blowing on the games to get them to work, the usual for the NES

1 game system with adapter
3 controllers
2 zapper guns
1 cleaner cartridge
1 RF switch
5 Game Instruction Manuals (not pictured)
1 official Nintendo game storage and carrying case
1 cord with tri-tips on each end

18 Games:
Super Mario Bros 1 / Duck Hunt w/ manual
Super Mario Bros 3 w/ manual
Kings of the Beach w/ manual
Punch Out
James Bond Jr
Vegas Dream
Off Road
Double Dragon
Marble Madness
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: the Arcade Game
Base Wars w/ manual
Arch Rivals w/ manual
Slalom
Spy Hunter
Desert Commander
Bo Jackson Baseball
Contra
Zelda II: the Adventure of Link (metallic gold cartridge)

NO MORE NASTY EMAILS PLEASE, I'll be reporting them. I've already admitted I have no idea of the value. Grow some tact :) Asking $300 obo, I honestly don't know what to price it at...someone else has an ad for $400 and is offering much less than I am so I based my price upon theirs because I'd like it to sell. I am open to offers (educate me nicely) but will not accept terribly low offers of $25 (lol, I really did get an offer for that but for that, I'll just keep it) and will not break up bundle. It all sells or none of it sells :)
$40? My condolences, I paid $3.99 for my mint complete copy and I was very reluctant to pay even that much.
LOL well I've come across a couple since then that I've paid less for, including just the discs in a disc only bundle from a huge CD jewel case I reported in the craigslist finds thread a couple of years ago that worked out to maybe $.50 a game. I ended up paying $100 IIRC for the jewel case full of PS1 and PS2 games, and there were around 200 games in it. Too bad I didn't get the cases but it was one of my best finds.

Seriously, I get tired of seeing this. Who do they think they're gonna report them to? Here's the scenario that I can see happening....

Me: (Dials 911)
911: 911, what is your emergency?
Me: Yeah, I'm trying to sell my Nintendo on Craigslist, and people keep emailing me telling me I'm overpriced.
911: Huh?
Me: I'd like to report them.
911: Um... Sir, you do realize that 911 is for emergencies only, right?
Me: Yeah, that's why I called. Some of the emails are downright rude.
911: Sir, please don't call back... (hangs up)

I mean, they're probably just saying that, but if someone was really determined to find out who you are, they could (unless you're using a public computer, I guess).

This week on HOARDERS ...

Seriously now. 15 SNES systems, 25 controllers (all individually zip lock bagged), and only 1 - ONE AV CABLE?!?

WTF, did this guy just buy every SNES he came across until he finally got one that came with a (SNES/N64/GC) AV cable?

And 13 bagged copies of Super Mario World. This guy has some issues no doubt. 15 SNES systems and that's the collection of games he's amassed with it? Super Mario RPG, Mario Kart, DK 1-3, and a couple of decent N64 games.

I especially like what I assume to be price stickers on the various games - $29 on Madden '98?!? $28 on NBA Live??? Ahh, only in the 909 does an ad like this make any sort of sense...some large pics below, more directly in the ad. Enjoy!

Stumbled on this thread and I'm dying over here, hilarious! To think these are real posts and these people live among us, possibly our neighbors is scary though.

Ahhh, the extremely rare HOOGAN'S ALLEY for the NES. Not to be confused with HOGAN'S ALLEY, of course.

Of course that misspelling is not what caught my eye, but rather it was the ravishing beauty:roll: who threw her pic up with the ad.
That's what I thought of when I seen this ad... read it carefully... "all I need..."

At least the price is right... but he could have said "complete system."
However, he tries to "lowball" the potential seller with a "service" that's been advertised on craigslist for $40.

Oh, and don't let the email address scare you off....

fuck
The Jerk is beyond epic.

"I don't need this stuff and I don't need you! I don't need anything. Except this ashtray. And that's it, that's the only thing I need. Just this ashtray. And this paddle game. The ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need. And these matches. The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control and the paddle ball.

And this lamp."

Those prices, wow. Do they like, live in a desert, and the only source of water is inside those accessories? I would want to go over there, ask to see their system, and then...

kick it, kick it over on the ground.

And I call this exhibit
