Nintendo goes after big timers selling thousands of R4s and other flashcarts, not just 1 guy. Lots of internet websites located in the USA sell Flashcarts all the time and nothing happens to them. I think people blow the 1 or 2 stories that Kotaku and friends leak out once a year out of proportion. Craiglist is filled with iPhone mods, PSP Mods, Free Movies etc. and the cops don't scour it to turn them into Nintendo.

Seriously.. some of the guys in this thread have a really narrow scope of what's important. You realize that the inner city kids end up becoming drug dealers because of the large demand the wealthy county-folk place on the city drug market? Don't you think dealing with that is a little bit more important than one guy trying to make a profit off some pirated DS games. Think about it.. the drug trade brings crime and violence to the cities and surrounding counties. The police have more important things to do. Same with Nintendo, I think they have bigger fish to fry than this kid.

Did I say anything about calling the cops or suggest that the cops should be scowering the web for crimes? No. I said the person offended by the ad should forward it on to Nintendo. Their teams do read a lot of what's comes in and if they can take the time to send a little girl a free DS they might be interested in sending this Guy a letter to scare him.

And as a side note those kids are becoming drug dealers because it is easy money. If they ever put a stop to drugs (never gonna happen) they would move onto the next racket which very well could be bootlegging again. Before the internet made it so easy to steal, bootlegging movies and CDs was probably more common on the street then selling drugs.
