Also, I listed on CL that I'm selling an N64 with 2 controllers and a Mario game for $25. Guy emails me, asking which Mario game. I said Mario 64 or Mario Kart 64, his pick. He offers me $35 for the N64, 2 controllers, and Mario Kart for $35... I'm like, ok... sure!
I got 2 more N64s in the past 10 days, so I really just want to get rid of one or two, and it wasn't budging for $30 after like 2 weeks. Considering I spent $30 for each of those two N64s plus several games, I'm not really losing anything.

for 500 not only should it have the 250g hdd, it should have about 20+ more games and more controllers, if all that was included it may be worth it, but not that crap

DO NOT LET THIS IDIOT RIP YOU OFF. The guide to Earthbound, if it's complete with the scratch and sniff stickers in the back, intact, and mint is worth $100 easily. Some of these guides go for upwards of $50 or more - especially the old SNES and PS1 RPG guides like Breath of Fire games, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Earthbound, Suikoden 1 and 2, Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, and other Atlus and Square Enix games' guides.

Nice try assclown, but your imaginary kids just happen to want the rarest and most valuable game guides ever printed? And they just HAVE to be in GOOD OR BETTER CONDITION?

Nintendo Gamecube Collector's Set - $200 (Aurora, CO)

If you are just looking to "have a Gamecube" then this listing is not for you. This listing is for a particular edition of the Gamecube, that being the "Indigo" model. The "Indigo" was featured prominently in early advertising for the Gamecube, but was actually manufactured in far smaller supply than the later Platinum version. Making it more rare and more valuable than other models.

The Gamecube console came with 1 controller and zero memory cards. I am offering the console with 2 controllers, 2 memory cards, and 3 games. The second controller is also an "Indigo." When people are selling off Original Indigo controllers, they will often mention that the item is "genuine" or "authentic". These terms are not used to describe controllers that are white, black, or platinum, because those colors do not have any collector's value anyway. The Indigo controller often sells for more than 5x as much as a standard black controller. Buying a brand new Indigo controller normally costs $50-70, whereas you can get a black one for 10 bucks. These controllers are also compatible with the Nintendo Wii. So if you already have a Wii and could use extra controllers, then these will serve double-duty for you.

The 3 games are Madden NFL Football, Star Wars Rogue Leader, and Super Smash Bros Melee. The last game is arguably the most popular title produced for the Gamecube, and retailers still sell it new for $60+

A new Indigo Gamecube Console would run you $180-$200 by itself anyway, so with this deal, you are essentially getting the 2nd controller, 2 memory cards and 3 games for free, because ALL of the items were barely used and are in tremendous condition. Everything works just as well as the day it came out of the box. All 3 games are in their original boxes, and contain the instruction manuals (which are also in like-new condition).
 
I know this isn't CL, but I hate when people on eBay list things as "brand new," but the pictures clearly show that they've been used (the cables are a dead giveaway).

I am selling my PS3 with 10 games and two controllers.

I will also throw in a 6ft Rocketfish HDMI cable with the system.

Yeah. Most people are morons and think that playing something, even only a few times somehow means it's still brand new.

Yes, but it can be done without having the maturity level of a 13 year old. There ARE people on CL who actually think their stuff might be worth what they post it at, and writing them to tell them that their "used junk is overpriced" is NOT the way to do it. If you want them to actually listen to you, post some examples from either closed auctions on ebay or link to the used section on GS's site. But there isn't any reason what-so-ever to be ass about it.

I know I'm not the only one on here that thinks this way either.

I hear what you're saying but experience tells me that being nice doesn't do much either. The top-posting spamming and of Craigslist by ill informed sellers certainly is a reason to "be an ass about it".

Since when is the guide for AVP for PS3/360 worth $25 or so? I got a copy of that from a local GS when I went for the midnight launch of RDR in May for free. But it's kinda beat up compared to the ones I saw listed on Ebay.

If you are just looking to "have a Gamecube" then this listing is not for you. This listing is for a particular edition of the Gamecube, that being the "Indigo" model.
