YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

I went to the manchester CT store yesterday and they still had a lot left.  Not so many 360 games but probably 30 different ps3 games and piles of nintendo crap.  I grabbed skyrim ps3 for $6 and the rest i already had or didnt ever want.  Homefront and singularity were both sub $4 games as i remember plus alot of others.

What guides were a penny? My local stores has a lot of old guides i'll be interested in.

Picked up from TRU $0.01 each

Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (standard) premiere
Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver v1
Kirby's Epic yarn (spiral) Prima essentials (small spiral bound)
PlayStation All- Stars Battle Royale
Any good 1st party 3ds games aside from Professor Layton and Star Fox on clearance?

Yeah, the majority of CT stores I've been to have been pretty much ignored (other than myself)! :)

Did the Manchester location happen to have any PS3 or Vita accessories left? The last time I was there was a few weeks ago I wasn't in the market for them, now I am.

This week has been solid.

Found:

Wonderful 101 & Darksiders 2 for a combined price of $23

Sonic 10 inch deluxe collectible figure (thought it looked cool and was $40 on amazon) $16.99

Chaotic Shadow Warriors DS (had a weird sticker, priced at $1.90, down from 19.99)

No luck so far with finding the clearance wii u pro glow controllers though.

I was in St. Louis all last week visiting family so hit up Sunset Hills, Chesterfield and South County locations qhile I was there. Shocked by how many Wii U games were still there. Picked up some Vita games I didn't have yet, SFvTK, Touch My Katamari, Little Deviants and Rayman Origins. One of the locations actually had about 6-8 4gb Vita memory cards in the case, I was shocked, only grabbed 2 for myself, didn't feel like being greedy. Also found the Sonic collectible statue that had been on green clearance, had never seen it so I picked that up, still had two or three.

I got ~$37 back after price-adjusting the 320GB PS3 bundle I picked up on Yellow Clearance 2 weeks ago (bringing the total price down to $140)! :D

I didn't find anything of interest at either of the stores I hit yesterday, but I grabbed Ace Combat for 3DS for $4 with a $5 Reward Certificate that was set to expire today.

Went in to a store last night and found a PVC Tomb Raider Lara statue that I bought for $12.

On the way out, by the exit, I saw a skateboard.  I looked it over, saw it was originally $500...marked down to $100 (80%).

I had to buy it.  It's an EMAD Street Surfer electric skateboard.

Had a blast last night riding it!  At $100, it was an amazing pickup!

Holy crap, that's a find. I had to look it up, I would totally kill myself on that thing. I could never even ride a regular skateboard, my balance is horrendous.

Still waiting for 85%-90% to grab a King of Fighters for the soundtrack and to grab some of the 32GB USB sticks.

Deerborn still shows 4 XBL starter kits.

TRU was giving away some skylanders battlegrounds figures over the weekend btw, there was a choice of one of 4 different ones.

Damn...not worth the $5-10 I'd save on return/rebuy for green.  I'll be in Hawaii for a couple of weeks so I might swing by stores out there to see if they were cleaned out.  Hope to find they weren't and have a lot of the choice, harder to find games.

I feel like we need to compile a list of what's on clearance.

Advice for anyone still looking for a deal:  Check the locked glass endcaps.  Those usually aren't fully tagged as clearance so they're untouched.

For those who were able to get price adjustments, did you ask for a price adjustment or do a return/rebuy?  I ask because there's been many times, not TRU per say, that employees tell me they don't do return/rebuys at other retailers and I just wanted to know what's been working.  I have some TRU gift cards that I want to use up if I can do a return/rebuy but price adjustment would make things a lot easier.  I know its pretty much YMMV with the store reps, but wanted some clarification.

I know this topic has come up a couple of times, but the search function isn't my friend right now.  Thanks for any help in advance!

Debating whether I should try to track down a 4GB Vita memory card. I'm picking up the 8GB BL2 bundle tihs Friday and I'd like to buy a 16GB card BUT I hear you can swap between memory cards so long as you turn off the Vita entirely between swaps. I dunno, I have like 30 PS+ games for Vita so a 8GB + 4GB seems small but once I play through some I'll just delete them anyway, freeing up space. Don't need to play everything at once you know?

What I did worked without my planning on it working. I had asked to do a change of payment from a debit card to a bunch of toys r us gift cards I got from Bing. The clerk did a return for the items and when she re-rung them for the new form of payment, the new price popped up. Obviously, YMMV.

You are lucky. I checked my local store and found nothing. They did a stock check of the surrounding stores and stated that they've been discontinued. Nice find.

i would not recommend it. The memory card port is awkward to access, and the cards are tiny and easy to lose. I have a 16gb card and its full of PS+ games, but the only card I'll buy in the future is 32 or 64gb when its on a black friday sale or something. For now I just web-add new PS+ vita games every month and will download them sometime in the future.

a 4gb card is really too small to hold much of anything and frankly its just easier managing one card and playing one or two games at a time, clearing them out, and moving on.

FWIW if you do end up going to toys r us you can find a 4gb card inside the vita starter pack (or some variant thereof), it still costs something like $5-10 after clearance, rather put that money towards a game.

I hate Sony, and how they price the memory cards super insanely high. I wish someone made a Vita micro SD card adapter.

This on so many levels. When I got the system I tried to do two smaller cards and gave up on that after a week.

Nice, W101 and Darksiders 2 I would love to find...didnt even know Darksiders was one of the clearance games, though I doubt any stores near me have it anyways.

I'm tempted to get Darksiders II. I already own the pc version ala humble bunlde but I just I have a feeling it'll eventually shoot up in value.

You guys are going about it all wrong. Just initiate the downloads and cancel. Once you have purchased it's yours to download whenever you want. Save the space on your cards and save money by not having to buy large memory cards.

Does anyone know (toys r us experts i guess) if an item I am looking for..... if its either sold out in my entire area or there is some in stock but its at a far away location......can I somehow order it online or do something at customer service to get what i'm looking for shipped to my store or my house but still receive the clearance price (70% green item) that my store would have given me if it was in stock. Any return re-buy options or something that I can do? Just curious.

Well I had no luck finding the memory card anyway but thanks for the advice guys! Don't know if I should just stick it out with the 8GB that comes with the BL2 bundle (which I'm having a hard time finding in my town) or buy a 16GB. I have like 21GB in PS+ games ATM. Might just stick with 8GB and wait (hope) for another price drop on cards

I want to say someone did that a couple pages back with wonderful 101. He ordered a couple copies online and shipped to his house. Then took the games and recept to the nearest TRU and did a return/re buy for the clearance price. I have not personally done this so....

But you could try it and if they say no just return it.

I almost bit on a 32GB because 16GB won't keep a ton..but then again you can always just transfer the games around from your ps3 if you have one. Also, keep in mind borderlands 2 and its DLC takes up like 5.6GB so on an 8GB card that won't leave much.

Went by one near work during lunch break, they were stocked full of the Wii U gamepad travel case set on blue clearance that my local only had one pink version left. I got a black and blue version NOT clearance tagged and marked @ $39.99, but I knew better from my previous visit, so I used the price checker to verify the computer was ringing them up for $8. Grabbed one in a better color for me and another for my buddy, their last copy of Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone :3ds: green tagged for $7.50 and a copy of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge :wiiu: for the same price. Donated a dollar to whatever cancer charity they were raising money for, total came to $26.XX.

Didn't hit me as strange until I was in traffic almost back to work, I checked the receipt and the cashier only rang up one of the gamepad cases. Neat
