YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Just got 2x wireless Wii U Pro after glow controllers for 4.40 each.  Is the PS3 wired Fusion tournanment controller marked 79.99, scanned for 8 worth it?

Nothing at the TRU in Iselin, NJ. Anyone have any luck finding any of these games in around Central Jersey? Was kinda hoping to grab Kid Icarus and some PS3 Games.

 
Picked up last copy Naruto (3DS) $7.50 and TeKken (wii u) $5 and 7 in 1 Wii U accessories $4.  Will do return & rebuy few games tomorrow and save extra $$$$ :)

Have you opened that 7 in 1 yet? Just wondering since my store has that and want to know if it is worth it?

I seen a lot of clearance Wii U stuff but I don't know what to actually buy. I'm new to the Wii U scene, so I don't know what's good or not.

Not that I saw but I wasn't exactly looking for those items. In generally it was pretty cleared out.

BTW lots of Zenses or whatever that game was. haha. I might go back if the Aliens game for DS hits 95% off /ultracheapass

 
This clearance sale has been amazing for getting accessories for my new Wii U. Gamepad cradle, Gamepad screen protector, Gamepad case with silicone glove, Pro Controller dual charger, and some Vita screen protectors -- all for under $20. The only bad thing is I feel like the entire Wii U section will be gone tomorrow. Does TRU know something we don't?

I'm still tempted by the Muppets Whatnot for $26. I want my own Muppet.

I have a kid, SL it is hard for me to say. I probably would have gotten it anyway. Having a kid probably is why my wife let's me display it prominently though. And if you get one I recommend finding some clothes for it, I know they were a part of this clearance sale, but I had to resort to eBay as my store was out of those.

I've had mine for just under a month now [Mario Kart 8 Bundle], but I pretty heavily abused my local TRU and the one I discovered near my internship. There's a lot of really good stuff worth it, Exeter Blue mentions a few choice items:

The Power A Gaming Essentials is a really nice gamepad travel case that comes with good accessories for four bucks, there's a Power A brand Clean + Protect Kit that comes with a sticker screen protector and three stylus for a dollar, PCP brand Rainbow Stylus pack of eight [can you tell I like have extra stylus?] for a buck, Turtle Beach/Ear Force stereo headset with Mic for $2.50. I haven't even checked out the charging cradles or other stuff, but now I'm thinking about going to my local and seeing what they have left. I got all those items I mentioned when Blue was at 80% and was happy with my haul. The only thing that sucks is the screen protectors in the Clean + Protect kit are old-school application and are dust and lint MAGNETS. I bought four of the kits and it took me three to get one that was acceptable and relatively dust-free. There are still a couple pieces of debris that I only really notice if I look for them/am being OCD. I ordered two packs of Hori's from Amazon [loved them on my XL] and now will just wait until the current one gets all scratched up, then change it out.

There are Wii u after glow pro controller wireless for 4.40 if they are still around. Reviews on amazon are hits or miss, sometimes they are dudes, sometime people say they are great. I have not opened the 2 I bought yet.

My experience, I tried the following titles t hat were previously on clearance and they rang up at retail. I don't know of any other ones because the store I was at in SJ was cleaned out.

Definitely worth a buck just for the 3 stylus. They are a perfect fit in the stylus receiver unlike most third party replacements.
No experience on the third party pro controllers, but I can't recommend Nintendo's first party Pro U controller any higher.

Ran by my local store hoping for a spontaneous miracle restock, but it was same slim pickings as usual [mostly due to me when it came to Wii U accessories...].

Accessories:
I grabbed a dreamGEAR U Concert Dock charge cradle/speaker with a 5V USB port for charging phones or a 3DS if you have a USB cable for that. Solid buy for $3.49. Left one. There was another dreamGEAR brand stand/non-charging cradle set with a large stylus, screen protector, earbuds, and a microfiber for maybe $3, but that was more junk I didn't need laying around so I passed. Nothing for 360, saw a Nyko Charge Base 3 for PS3 @ $2, so I grabbed it since I hate charging PS3 controllers through the actual console. They had a similar product for Pro U controllers for either $2 or 3, but I passed since I only have one for now and they hold their charge long enough that I don't mind plugging them into the Wii U.

Games:
Nothing good on 3DS, TONS of copies of Ghosts :wiiu:, 3 copies of Ninja Gaiden 3 :wiiu:, no good first parties, nothing good for PS3 or 360. Saw copies of Ducktales Remastered for PS3 and WiiU, but they had the TRU 'Super Buy! $19.99' sticker on them. I took a Wii U copy to the counter and asked if it was ringing up as clearance. It wasn't, but while she was doing that I noticed a loner copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition with no clearance tag on it. I asked her to ring that up to, came up as $5, so I grabbed that, the gamepad speaker dock, and the PS3 charge base for a cool $11.06.

Gotta say, it's a good time to be a new Wii U owner

Remember Me (PS3 -- didn't check 360) $5.00 after 75% discount. I also picked up the World War Z board game for $8.00 (after 60% off). WWZ was not labeled on the shelf or stickered but rang up with the discount.

I almost missed Remember Me... The sticker was on the game and I only saw the edge of the green sticker when I was looking through the shelves.

The kids picked up a Spy Net door alarm for $0.90 and a Jenga Angry Birds game for $4.00. 

This combined with the free Transformers Kreos for me and the kids --  it was a good trip to TRU.

Grabbed a Star Fox 3D for $7.50 at my store. Most of it was cleaned out but they seemed to have gotten some left over Wii U games. Specifically 007 Legends for $15, and Assassin's Creed 4 for $15. Splinter Cell BlackList Wii U was $10. They had a Wii U Pro Controller marked clearance with no updated price tag on it and after asking an employee he just said it was a mistake.

Most of the PS3/Xbox 360 games that were on clearance were gone.

This was the Cumberland Mall store in South Jersey if there are any interested Cags.

 
So, I stopped by my Toys R Us and noticed they had like 4 of those Midnight Purple 3ds Systems, I remember reading a few weeks back they were on clearance.  Now, these were not marked at all, and were simply in the case with all the 3ds XL's and the 2Ds's.  

Can anyone confirm these are on sale?  I would have them scan it but wont it just show the normal price unless I am actually checking out, then it turns into the clearance price at the last minute?  

I would love to know.  Thanks to anyone that can help!

They are not on clearance.

Only the older 3DS systems that came with the charging cradle are on clearance.

 
Yeah I got one of those cradles for my wii u as well, 60 cents and since mine did t have one I was happy. Also picked up a 3DS headset for $2, may use it with my ps4 for when the wife's asleep and sell my golds. I never use them since I have a 7.1 setup.
 
Saw a ton of the wii u starter kits for 39 marked down to about 3 something, how good are they? The one with the hdmi extender etc

 
Got lucky and found :wiiu: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition for $5 and also picked up :360: Medal of Honor Warfighter LE for $5 at the City of Industry TRU.

I went back and looked, these appear to be the ones that dont have the cradle unfortunately. I think the boxes without the cradle have the picture of the 3ds console on the front and the image folds around the side of the box.
So this one wasn't on clearance damnit.

Does anyone know if the Dreamgear Wii U silicone sleeve is clearanced out? It's the only thing left and surrounded by a bunch of empty blue stickered pegs. I bought the last Wii U travel case that was normally $39.99 and got it for $4 but really liked the feel of the Dreamgear sleeve.

Some coupons have been released recently in my store. $10 off the new Transformers game, and on the back of it, $10 off the amazing spiderman 2 game. Not sure if this is a regional thing, but if you happen to be looking for these coupong they should be out in the open for any customer to pick up in the rzone area/counter, and if not just ask the R-zone employee about it.

It expires sometime in july, maybe around the 12th.

Still waiting for the green to hit 80% though. Gonna pick up Darksiders 2, Yakuza 3, DoA5, and ZoE HD collection

The Greenwood Toys R Us had a bunch of stuff the first few months of the sale, I would go about two times a week. Then one day, BOOM, nearly nothing. They still have some WiiU games though, but I want to think its like 007, Call of Duty, and there are a couple of more.

Everything else has been completely picked over.

I was there about a month and a half ago and they were completely wiped out. I think someone in this thread posted sometime in April that they saw a guy with a cart full of games at that store.

 
So glad I found this thread out yesterday.  Found out only 1 store in my state had Wonderful101, they said they wouldn't ship games to other stores due to the damage risks.  

Went into the store today and asked the manager, seemed skeptic about the green deal but rather than fight me on it, she just went with it and somehow managed to get them to ship the game to my house for $8.  

Extremely nice manager at TRU.....you the real MVP

I was in a similar predicament, especially because my Wii U came with a charge cradle, but what sold it for me is that now I can use the U Concert as a dock and the official Nintendo gamepad charger somewhere else like my bed when I'm using Off-TV Play.

 
I got the ps3 move charging bundle for trade if anyone's been looking.

Would swap for Starfox 3ds, project x 3ds, ninja gaiden wii u, wii u glow controller, etc.

 
Picked up the last copy of :360: Assassin's Creed Revelations for $5 at Bell Gardens TRU. Been looking all over SoCal for it since the latest drop, its been gobbled up everywhere.
Other than that, the Bell Gardens TRU has a crapload of :360: Medal of Honor Warfighter LE sitting and the price scanners are showing the end date for the sale as 8/3/14.
