YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

While I can't speak on how well the gamepad works with the game since I've only owned it on PS4, I can tell you that it doesn't really matter if you've really gotten into any of the previous games or not. To me, AC4 is the second best game in the series and is absolutely worth the $12 it costs at Toysrus right now. In terms of graphics, it should be on par with the PS3/360 versions.

It's awesome. I've played it briefly on PS3 before owning the WiiU version and the graphics are on par with that, at least. As far as whether you should play it if you've only played one game in the series...yes! I'm in the same boat (no pun intended), and it's a fantastic game. Plus I dig pirates, so that helps. My one criticism is that the "real world" stuff drags it down; I could give a damn about all that.

Same here on inFAMOUS. I don't think it was supposed to be green tagged. Other stores that have it are all tagless and ring up regular price. I think it might have been a mistake at a number of stores.

They had a few other games green tagged in the cases but nothing good. They had tags for ICO and Ratchet and Clank but they were gone. Same with many of the other items.

Madden 13 for Wii sealed is worth an easy $50. Could always sell it to get a game you'd rather play if Madden isn't your thing.

 
For weeks, I have seen an ICO/SOTC at my TRU, always priced at 19.99. I saw it again this time, scanned the price, 19.99 as usual. I was ready to put it back, when out of the corner of my eye, I see a green clearance sign for the game behind the glass where the vita games used to be... I ask an employee why it's ringing up not clearance. He tries to deny that this is the right game, that it's not on clearance, etc. But I finally convince him it is the right game. So he goes to his manager, and a few minutes later, I walk out with the game for $4.37 after tax! This is the crowning jewel of my clearance sale finds:

Madden 13 Wii sealed was going for $100+ last xmas. Same goes for Fifa 12 but for $80+. So if you found a copy somewhere, hold it to Xmas :)

I only checked the price at TRU when

1. I picked something up on clearance at TRU, like the other 2 games listed or Wii U accessories, or

2. I went to Target, which is in the same shopping center.

So the other trips weren't wasted - I just checked when I happened to be there.

YMMV but if you're polite and you go when the store isn't as busy the chances go up. I would take it with you since they won't always do a price adjustment and then they usually want the item physically there.

If you are polite, they are likely to understand that you didn't want to lug bicycles back into the store to get the adjustment. No guarantee, but worth a shot if it isn't too far out of your way.
 
Grabbed the last copy of Zone of Enders HD :360: that I stashed behind some other bad games. Nothing else since last time, other than I noticed someone had picked off several titles I had seen but wasn't interested in. 

While walking around the rest of the store, something caught my eye in a cardboard endcap clearance box. A Nerf N-Strike Vortex Mission Kit that comes with one 10-disc clip and 10 Vortex discs. $14.99 Brown Tag, so $3. I also found a bunch more on a peg in the Nerf section that weren't tagged. I was going to walk out with six, but I didn't want to spend that much, so I took the 3 that were marked and put the other 3 behind some other Nerf stuff. I'll probably come back for them when/if it hits 90%. Not video game related, but if  anyone is into Nerf and has a Vortex blaster, this is a pretty good find.

Everything green tagged got shoved into the bins in the front checkouts. I found :3ds: Naruto Powerful Shippudden for $6.
 
I guess I'll stop by my local TRU one last time this evening. I didn't snatch up those Disney Infinity cases like I wanted to, because to be honest they're not really worth flipping. Bah.
 
Is Ace Combat for 3DS worth $3?  Only thing left aside from Ghosts WiiU.

Found some Prince of Persia The White Persians Movie figures that were green tagged at $4 each today at my closest store which was otherwise cleaned out.  Never seen them there before but for 40 cents a pop, why not?

I enjoyed it at a far greater price.

Hoped AC4 Wii U would still be there today, but no dice.
 
I price adjusted :3ds: Naruto Powerful Shippuden, :360: Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and :360: Assassin's Creed Revelations today and I got back $4.35, and then blew it right away when I spotted :ps3: Assassin's Creed III for $3 and :360: Aliens Colonial Marines for $3, so much for gaining money back...
