YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

I actually saw two of those Lara statues at each of the two TRU I hit today.

The one was missing 15 CoD Ghosts WiiU games though. Manager says they were probably stolen after they put them all out up front on a table.

 
got a couple  ghosts for trading, right now they get like $19 since gamestop is doing the bonus. I'am suprised these are still in stock at stores. Was going to get epic mickey but my store is all out of those now. Is there a Wii U white lurking somewhere in a store. a $30 wii U would be NUTS!!!

If the have a discrepency of 15 in their inventory, someone should be written up. More likely is they didnt feel kike properly looking...

I can believe this. At our store we were told to make a "green clearance" table, which had around 35 copies of Ghosts. Next morning I came in and half of them were gone - and this was before the massive discounts.

Puente Hills:
Pretty much cleaned out, still has a lot of WiiU games left.


Glendale:
Massive selection still left! I got lucky and got :wiiu: Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper for $3, :360: Homefront $1.50, :360: Epic Mickey Power of Two $3, :wii: MySims Sky Heroes $3.

Jeez, I wish I kept up with this thread. Target clearance has been so utterly disappointing (and often non-existent) for the past couple years in my part of SoCal that I didn't bother with the TRU clearance after my initial search at 20/30% off.

Makes me wonder what I've missed at Puente Hills and West Covina.

 
Found a copy of The Wonderful 101 today.

Still in the case and was never marked for green clearance. Had the lady check the price for me.

Yeah Target has been pretty dismal lately. I myself have only justed started checking TRUs. I missed out the start of the sale in April and May, and only started patrolling since late June. From what I have noticed a lot of games like the ones I found were not there in my previous check ups throughout the last month until now, right after the 85% kicked in. So there's still a chance of finding something right now.

To my knowledge West Covina in the past two months had nothing major. The only thing I can remember important was Sleeping Dogs and The King of Fighters XII CE that all disappeared shortly after 70%.
Puente Hills had :wiiu: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 WiiU Edition pop up randomly for $5 two weeks back.
If you are looking for anything I can keep an eye out for you.

PS3 games were just a lame selection of Eyepets, dance, dictonary, and PS Move games.
Wii games were pretty much just MySims Sky Heroes, Where the Wild Thing Are, game shows, and a lot of Nickelodeon titles.
DS games were largely Nickelodeons, game shows, and pet games.
This is like the only store I have seen where there is still so much in stock that takes up half an aisle through, most stores have just reduced it to a small bin.
Burbank from what I remember still had a lot of DS shovelware and a lot of :wiiu: Call of Duty Ghosts and Black Ops II left I think.

Was traveling back home thru Erie, PA yesterday and grabbed a copy of WiiU Ghosts for GS flipping purposes. Passed on WiiU Epic Mickey 2 and the 3DS Skylander's Portal, amongst other garbage games. Feels like I shoulda grabbed a few more Ghosts, but I'm not big on gaming the system, and I wanted other people to grab a good deal as well. So I restrained myself.

I found one 2 weeks ago. They had 2 at the time but I only got one since I was getting another store to ship it to me. If I was you, I would go to your store and ask is there any wonderful 101's in your state and see if they can have the store ship it to you. It worked for me. But you will need an employee that is willing to work with you and the other store manager to do the same. Also it was free shipping, so I paid 6.50 shipped. Which was great.
 
Huntington Beach TRU is all cleaned out, but I ran in to the G.I. Joe 50th anniversary line two packs. I got myself Low-Light vs. Night Viper. So psyched seeing Joes on the shelf again!

Is it just my local TRU or do most of you guys just have a rack that has some of the clearance games mentioned here with stickers that say $19.99?  One of the games I was hoping to grab was Ass Effect 3 :wiiu: but I only ever saw it in that $20 bin.  :(

 
I just keep going back and scraping the bottom.

Someone bought up all the WiiU CoD Ghosts since a day or two ago.

Probably just a lazy store. I was talking to our store manager the other day and he said some stores don't put much effort into the sale and the company has to eat more of loss when it's over. Sale ends this coming week, anything left is going to be donated or destroyed.

Just check up at the the register or one of the price scanners, sale prices show up on them even if not marked. I think every store is part of the sale.

Lazy stores are the best kinds! A lot more chance of finding things still there at later clearance stages if they aren't marked.

Checked La Cienega TRU, I got :360: Ace Combat Assault Horizon $4.50, :360: Darksiders II LE $7.50, :3ds: Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy $4.50, :360: Singularity $1.50, :360: Goldeneye Reloaded $6.00, and :360: Skylanders Giants Portal Owner's Pack $7.50.
This is the only store that still has the :360: Skylanders Giants POPs in stock in SoCal, the other stores are all gone. They still have a lot left and also had plenty of the :ps3: and :3ds: versions too.
On Wii U games, they still had Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist, Call of Duty Ghosts and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

Went to the Utica michigan store this afternoon. They had signs up saying green was 90% but everything rang up at 85% so she had to manually change all the prices. Not much left but I did get the last copy of cod ghost wiiu for 6 bucks.
 
While I was at my Toys R Us today an El Hoardo came in (after I had got what was left of good things) and scanned all the Wii, DS shovelware and snapped up almost all of it. I was unsure what he was doing since most of that stuff sells for a couple bucks online. He must have had his own store or a flea market seller or something. He ended up with about 100 games (compared to my 10)

At the Culver City TRU, pretty much cleared out. Only thing I see is :360: Castlevania Lords of Shadow and quite a few blue tagged Wii U Starter Kits and PS3 Move accessories left.
 
Found a bin full of both Wii U Call of Duties and ZombiU at my local TRU over the weekend.

I love ZombiU and already own it, but you couldn't pay me enough to own Call of Duty ever again.
 
Just curious - I stopped by my local TRU yesterday and got the two COD Wii U games for $9 each. While there I noticed two or three ZombiU deluxe Wii U bundles behind the glass. I see that these aren't even listed on the TRU website for sale anymore. There was no green sticker on the boxes. Is there any reason to ask for a price scan? Any chance these could be clearanced too and not marked since the actual ZombiU game is clearanced marked at 85%off? Just not too familiar with the TRU clearance thing.
