YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

I assume this is an "all sales final" situation and I couldn't bring my items from yesterday back on Saturday to get that extra 5% discount on each? lol

I'd like to know how you guys are still finding shit.. Been to Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, York, and Reading TRUs and there has been nothing in forever
Black magic I was assuming.

That's what most of us have been doing this whole sale, but YMMV.

Honestly, all the stores around me have been picked clean for a while now as well. My guess is that most of us are doing the return/rebuy thing.

In fact, no. You can definitely go back with your receipt and get the prices adjusted.

Oh lordy. Now to debate if I want to swallow my shame and try to make that $19.58 purchase a $9.79 purchase.

Tried to get my 3 long receipts adjusted last night and the manager had a cow, I had to leave my receipts with him and he said he would "try" to get them adjusted after he danced around trying the 7 day, and then we're not supposed to adjust clearance, yada yada.

I do understand why as they have to adjust each purchase by hand. So I think for any off you about to get the final adjustments it would be wise to take in the items so they can just do a return / rebuy, which is much easier.

I was in the neighborhood yesterday, so I stopped by my store. Amazingly, they still had a single copy of Lumines Vita. I was eyeing that game at 60% off but still hadn't pulled the trigger. I'll take it for $3!

yea some stores JUMPED the gun the 95% starts saturday. Its only 90% in the system. if your store has signs up for 95% they have to enter them by hand.

Grabbed a few extra games to flip (2 to 4 of each were left)

wonder best place to dump

Dead of alive 5 for 360

ASSASSINS creed 4 black flag for Wii u

Lumines for Vita (though will keep it )

funky bard for wii u

EPIC MICKEY 2 for Wii u

though i may just save the 3 Wii u games and give them to a friend cheap present :)

Just FYI, over the last couple of weeks I've been to almost every Toys R Us in the greater Houston area and there isn't much left.

Just got back from my toys r us they havent really marked down all the games. They had a bunch of cod ghosts for the wii u left priced at 6 dollars. Too bad gamestops 50% trade in promotion ended.

Edit: Meant toys r us not best buy sorry.

Store on ocean gate in hawthorne, ca had signage for 95% off. They did override to get the 95% off then started taking the signs down as i was leaving.

Plenty of Assassins Creed Wii U, disney infinity cases
Also lumines vita x1 left behind

Nothing left for me in the Bay Area, have no one to blame but myself, but I was able to score 007 Legends and a sweet Yomega Yo-Yo, I did see 20+ copies of Jonas Brothers though at one of the stores too lol.

What would happen if Best Buy ever had clearance like Toys R Us did?
Depends what, where and the capacity it happened.

If it was stuff online, they've done that before (CoD BO Pres edition for $15) and it would sell out fairly quickly.

If it was a small sale on select items in store, they probably wouldn't move that fast and have minimal interest. Most of the TRU interest is directed in how substantial the discount is, from my understanding how uncommon sales are on said items (I've never once seen an ugly doll on sale and I doubt it would be more than $2 - $3 dollars, not 90%) and the ability to flip said things. The last big clearance sale I saw at Best Buy was not something to write home about, even at 95% off. From what I recall, they had games like Troy Musou, Prototype 2 CE, Mindjack, Silent Hill Vita, one of those Bass games and things of the like. I doubt there would be many people rushing out to their local BB just to score games like this, even at 90%.

On Topic~

I want to head out and try to find some things, but I know I should wait for 95%. Especially since I can't justify the Just Dance bundle for anything more than $4 and the only items I want have been long gone. Thats not to say I won't get lucky (I got stupidly lucky with an ugly doll and a wireless afterglow headset [anyone want to comment on this? I don't plan on really using it, just something for the Wii U if there are ever online games worth using it for]), but I don't see it happening.

Checked Deptford NJ and Cherry Hill Nj, both stores picked pretty clean. Cherry Hill had a few AC black flag Wii u copies, and some 360/ps3 games but nothing I was looking for. Was hoping they still had some Lumines or Starfox 3ds copies.

I know my friend got a few things from there today.

absolutely nothing in the TRUs in my area, clearance tags gone in the video game areas and no copies of the Wii U games people are getting anyways.    There were 15+ copies of COD Ghosts Wii U when I went two weeks ago, all gone but meh too much effort flipping it into GS/BBY anyways.

I did score some decent things though - if you get the Disney Tinkerbell fairy princess twin doll sets they are clearance'd down to $19.99, they have a movie pass for Tinkerbell notice on the inside.  If you try to redeem the voucher code once you open it, it says they are all out and gives you a $19.99 gift certificate good at TRU.  I picked up 3 sets one after another (redeeming on my phone and paying the ones after the first with GCs) and picked up a Groot and Rocket bobblehead doll with my last GC, gonna give the Tinkerbell dolls to charity and let the kids have the bobbleheads.

also a few odds and ends like infinity dolls, sports toys, some weird justin bieber crap, etc picked up to keep as toys for visiting kids.

My closest TRU has not even enough video games to fill one of those 2' x 2' clearance bins in the middle of the aisle. I bought a DS game, a Wii game, some iPad app thing, and a Hunger Games light bulb for ~$4.

Actually they also had almost a dozen Skylanders Giants Portal Owner's Packs left but I don't need more of those.

I decided to do my final sweep today. Guess word got out in my area because there are 4 people going around scanning every single item in store. They each have two carts full of stuff and are leaving items at the scanner that they don't feel like taking back to the shelves. People disgust me

Other than getting two Skylanders cases for $4 yesterday, i'm done with this clearance (since there's nothing left).

Anyone know about any other big sales happening now or soon?

Went today to the L Street, Chula vista CA location to get my 5% difference back and a navy guy had 1 cart full of skylanders giants stuff and some other toys.

Looked more like an Slickdealer than a CAG to me, overheard the cashier explaining how the whole skylanders things work.

Anyone have the link that shows it's 95% today? My store says it's still says it's 90%.
It's still 90%.

It was suppose to be 95% today with the clearance ending tomorrow, but since it was extended another week, they supposedly delayed the 95% to a later date. Seems like they did not communicate down to the stores very well so a bunch of them printed up the 95% signs and put them up.
