YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Says it on the scanners when you scan an item but who knows beyond that.
Manager at my TRU confirmed 08/10, said they got an email about it last week. Just wanted to double check with someone else because I ordered some ish online I am looking to rebuy at 95% off (special clearance eligible items). Lewl.

Did a quickie through the San Fernando Valley today.

Glendale is all gone. A lot of :3ds: Crosswords Plus, :wiiu: 007 Legends, :wii: MySims Sky Heroes, :ps3: Medieval Moves, :ps3: Sports Champions, :ps3: Eyepet and a bunch of Nickelodeon games and unimportant DS and Wii games.
Burbank is clean, only thing major I saw were :360: Fable the Journey and :360: Epic Mickey 2.
Northridge is clean, only thing major is a stack of :wiiu: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and just a lot of :ds: Lalaloopsy and PS2 and DS games.
Went back to Woodland Hills and all the stuff I listed last time are all gone. They still had :360: Medal of Honor Warfighter LE and :360: + :wii: Epic Mickey 2. Mainly I came back to look for additional Sin & Punishments and for the :360: Dishonored and :360: DmC Devil May Cry that I felt suspicious about in my last visit. My suspicions were correct, they were not tagged and were definitely on clearance; $1.50 and $2 respectively, so I got both of them; there are three copies left each if anyone wants them. I also picked up :3ds: Pinball Hall of Fame The Williams Collection $1 and Brain Age Concentration Training $1

I price adjusted at one store and was okay so far. I was even more surprised that they were willing to adjust all 13 receipts I brought in with no hassle.
which store was that?

The four stores near me have been picked clean of anything good since the beginning of July. If anyone has found any extra copies of
Resident evil revelations -ps3
King of fighters with soundtrack -ps3 preferred or x360
Zone of the Enders -ps3
Ico/shadow collection -ps3
That they would be willing to trade/sell shoot me a pm and we'll work something out

I didn't find anything good on the gaming front (other than ACBF/WiiU which I passed on), but oh man. My 2 1/2 yr old is gonna have a Christmas/birthday for the ages this year.

I scored a bunch of thomas & friends stuff for him. Including some play sets that were $45 for $4.50. $35 battery operated, wooden trains for $3.50. Also found a $99 play set that wasn't 90% off, ('regular' clearance) but at $39.99, minus a 20% off single item coupon, making it $34 out the door, I 'splurged' on it since it will make a great 'epic big box' present. None of it was marked, all in its regular area. It was only select pieces, so don't expect to find a ton. I went to 3 locations, only 1 had the Thomas clearance goods.

I also found an Asus transformer dock for $6.50. If I can sell that piece alone for , I'll have paid for roughly half of my haul.

Also snagged an iron man silicone ice cube tray for $.80 for myself.

As someone else mentioned, I too have a room that currently looks like a TRU exploded in. Have to figure out where I'm gonna stash all this stuff!

Any cags in the bay area get any lucky with price adjusting the clearance titles?  If so, which store?  I didn't have any luck and got rejected yesterday.

Did someone say they found a psp on clearance? I searched the thread but can't find it again.

Never mind I found it. My toys r us has them but not on clearance. Guy jr detectived the hell outta me when all I did was ask him if I could get a psp out of the case

If anyone is looking for a God of War Origins collection, I was able to pick one up before they went off clearance. Would be able to do $12 shipped. PM if interested.

Can you please list the names of the clearance items? I'm trying to find some today.

Anybody have an extra copy of the Sniper game for the WiiU? Don't have much to trade but would be willing to buy via paypal. I don't even care if its used and you played through it already.

Play sets-Castle Crane, Deluxe Railroad Crossing both 90% off. Heads up-there were 2 different Deluxe Railroad crossing sets. Only 1 was on clearance. The name was slightly different on each, can't remember exactly what the dif was. James' Fishy Delivery play set was the one marked down on reg clearance from $99 to $39.

Wooden Railway Trains-Dart and Patrick, Talking Gordon, Battery-Operated Percy and James.[attachment=7035:image.jpg]

Anyone had success getting an adjustment with just your rewards card?  I can't find the receipt for the last item I want to get done and it's like a $35 adjustment.

Here's the big boy

That is one really useful engine.....

Went to seal beach tru. They are wiped out of cod ghost on wii u. All they have is black ops 2 and zombie u. I just pickedup zombie u. 6 bucks. Im not complaining.

when is the 95%!!

Prim, you left a couple weeks too early - We need a reliable source.
You really don't find out for sure until literally the day before its supposed to happen, unfortunately. Given 90% was Wednesday last week, it could be the day of the next drop this week, but as pointed out, it has traditionally happened Thursday.

Thanks bbedwards! Found some at West Covina, CA and took the last ones.
Awesome! We found one hidden behind some other expensive sets on the bottom shelf. Used 20% off coupon and got it for $34.XX out the door. My 4 year old and I appreciate it!
Awesome! Glad you guys were able to find some. Might be the first time I've been 1st on a deal and was able to help others here.

Did either of you find any other thomas clearance stuff?

I did not. We actually just bought that railroad crossing yesterday with some of his birthday money but it was the non-clearanced/re-released one. lol I'll have to go back and look for the other branded one.

I noticed some of what you got was the older "TOMY"/Learning Curve branded Thomas Wooden Railway toys. Fisher-Price bought the rights (or bought them straight up, or whatever, not really sure what happened to be honest lol) and everything was re-branded/re-released under the Fisher-Price label, so all the TOMY/LC labeled stuff was clearanced/salvaged. My closest TRU used to have a TON of the older TOMY/LC stuff but I haven't seen it in awhile. The majority has been replaced with Fisher-Price stuff (as it should have been). I will have to go back in the morning and double check. I wanted to go through and scan everything, but I ran out of time today. We did a quick run through TRU and just so happened to see the James' Fishy Delivery set so we snagged it and to the checkout we ran. Haha.

Any chance one of those Elder Scrolls and/or Darksiders II is for trade?

I just finished a major thunder run across most of the LA-Bay area TRUs. A major haul for me!!!

Cerritos TRU:
:ps3: Singularity
:ps3: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
:ps3: Eyepet
:360: Blood Drive
:360: Darksiders II (Regular & LE)

:360: Goldeneye Reloaded
:360: 007 Legends
:wiiu: 007 Legends
:wiiu: Funky Barn
:wiiu: Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two
:wiiu: Call of Duty Black Ops II
:wii: Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two

I got :wiiu: Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two for $3 and :360: The Darkness II LE for $1.50

The Customer Service worker mention the sale is on until August 10th.

Seal Beach TRU:
Shoot, I completely did not know this store existed until I double checked the TRUs in the region..
:wiiu: ZombiU - a lot, about 20-30 I think
:wiiu: Call of Duty Ghost - a lot too, about 15 I think
:wiiu: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - two left, the shrink wrap is busted through..
:wiiu: Call of Duty Black Ops II - about 15 or so left
:wiiu: 007 Legends
:ps3: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
:3ds: Art Academy Lessons for Everyone - a lot, about 12 or so.
There was also a lot of Disney Infinity Figure Display Cases green tagged.

I got two copies of Art Academy for $3, :ps3: Skyrim for $2, Tomb Raider bust for $2.50, 3DS Spyro Bobbling Stylus for $.50, and MegaBloks Skylanders Chill with turret $1.30 and Trigger Happy Battle Portal $1.20.

Torrance TRU:
:wiiu: 007 Legends
:wiiu: Funky Barn
:wiiu: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag
:wiiu: Sniper Elite V2
:wiiu: Call of Duty Ghosts
:360: Medal of Honor Warfighter LE
:360: Homefront
:360: Assassin's Creed Revelations
:360: The Darkness II LE
:360: Operation Flashpoint Red River
:360: Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City
:360: Resident Evil 6
:360: Aliens Colonial Marines
:ps3: Aliens Colonial Marines
:ps3: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
:ps3: Darksiders II
:ps3: Medal of Honor Warfighter LE
:ps3: The Darkness II LE
:ps3: 007 Legends
:ps3: Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City

I got :wiiu: Funky Barn $3.00, :ps3: Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City $3.00, :360: Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City $3.00, :360: Resident Evil 6 $2.00, and :360: Operation Flashpoint Red River $2.00

Hawthorne TRU:
Fail. Only thing available was :wiiu: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and couple of :3ds: Skylanders Giants POP.

Bell Gardens TRU:
I got :ps3: Hitman Absolution $2.00, :3ds: Naruto Powerful Shippuden $3.00, and :3ds: Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate $3.00.

Through my search there was a lot of games not tagged. So I did a lot of trial and error and got them all scanned to see if they were part of the sale. I got lucky on a number of them, based on my previous list.
I looked up additional games but they were not part of the sale; :360: Deadpool, :360: Crysis 3 Hunter Edition, :360: Injustice Gods Among Us, :360: Far Cry 3, :ps3: Twisted Metal, :ps3: Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, :ps3: Little Big Planet Karting, :ps3: The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, :wiiu: Pikmin 3, :wiiu: Scribblenauts Unmasked, :wiiu: Tank! Tank! Tank!, :3ds: Pokémon Rumble Blast, and :3ds: Sonic Lost World. I really wanted Deadpool at the Torrance TRU regardless of price, but the casing below was damaged, argh.

How are you guys getting price checks for these games? I only see pre owed games at my tru, the rest of the games are in the glass case.

I went to TRU last Friday and signs were up stating 95% all clearance items. 007 Legends was the last WiiU game in the store so I grabbed it. I also found a muppet outfit.  Neither rang up as 95% when scanned though, still 90%. After the cashier called the manager and confirmed the correct amounts with a calculator she still couldn't get things to ring up correctly. The cashier was getting frustrated and she ended up taking 95% off the 90% clearance so I paid 49 cents for everything.  [attachment=7073:unnamed.jpg]

Found a lot of awesome toys like a walking dead bust and a super sonic on clearance but they were only a few dollars off instead of 90%:(

I know that Blossom hill will adjust for you. Personally i"m looking to own lollipop chainsaw (360) and zombi U. Have you seen them anywhere in the bay?

Question. There used to be a Toys R Us near me, but they changed the outside to Babies R Us. It probably sounds stupid but will they still have the regular Toys R Us stuff there? Cause it was a big store and I can't imagine they took out all the toys and video games stuff and filled the whole place with baby stuff. The next closest "Toys R Us" is like an hour away. Seems like there's some insanely good finds on games at Toys R Us.

Check online, it will say TRU/BRU. But it sounds like a BRU. One in a mall near me changed to BRU years ago because it made a lot more money, it's huge and all baby crap. The smaller store near me is a BRU on the right and a TRU on the left.

Incompetence is the best discount.
And normally that's the only discount you get at TRU.

Yeah, it's just listed as BRU. There's a TRU/BRU 20 miles away and a TRU about 25. I doubt it would be worth checking out this late in the game though.
