I ordered an "excellent copy" of Madden 06 PSP that was (after the coupon) only 55 cents. It arrived promptly, the mailer was very slick, and the condition was in fact excellent. No complaints whatsoever.

To Glyde, I would suggest you add a genre category for your DVDs that only displays Blu-rays. It's a real pain scrolling through all of those pages just to spot the occassional Blu-ray.

"FRIEND" code isn't working for me...

As many things as I don't like about this site, I have to say . . . are you fucking serious? A small start-up site offers up coupons that almost certainly total up to initial losses for them on most orders as loss leaders in the hopes of drawing in repeat business, and you want them to compound their losses by stacking coupons? This isn't Wal-Mart/Best Buy/whatever that you're dealing with. Get a grip.

I got the Godfather today. The game was complete and in very good condition, even though it was described as just "good."

Too bad I couldn't use the coupon :(, I forgot to use new customer one and the other one wasn't working :bomb:. Anyway I will definitely order again from them in the future.

my 'excellent' Gundam Crossfire arrived Friday - heavily used and stickered ex-rental. bah. looking at the site appears my only recourse is to send it back and eat the shipping... might as well lump it.

and after returning from the post office 20 mins ago I found the mailer to send out the Viva Pinata I sold had arrived finally, so we'll see how that goes...

Well I got Marvel Ultimate Alliance in "excellent" condition, but the disk is all scratched up and stuff. It still plays fine for now, so I didn't return it or anything, hopefully it doesn't start skipping and stuff.

Same here, but if you realize what's going on, of course it'll take awhile. It's not like the seller can ship it to you the same or next day after payment. He/She has to wait for Glyde to send them a mailer. Just sayin...

Yeah this isn't a bad deal. I may actually list a game or 2 on there. Also i have a bunch of DVD movies that i just upgraded to blu that i wouldn't mind moving either.

Ok, update here. I just received my order for Motorstorm sealed and for $6.47 (that was total after the Friends coupon). I came in about 7 days in a nice bubble mailer and item was brand new as describe. Here is a photo, sorry about quality.

Recieved my metal gear solid the twin snakes (good condition) 10 days after I ordered it. Arrived with case and instructions, and both discs were in great condition. Cost $18 shipped with $5 off code.

Ok, I thought this site seemed questionable. Now I'm sure of it.

They contacted me yesterday asking whether I'd received my game yet (I hadn't), because they had no record of it having been shipped. I responded that I had not received it. I thought at the time that it was pretty cool that they followed up like that. But then today I got the following message (bolding mine), which completely turned my opinion around:

Unfortunately, we have no record of the game "Lord of the Rings: The Third Age" (order #xxxxxxxxxx purchased on x/xx/xx) being delivered. We are very sorry you did not receive your game. Per our Transaction Policies you will be refunded the purchase price of the item.

Game Purchase Price Refund $2.50

Note that the 3.81 shipping fee is non-refundable as this cost has already been incurred.

The seller's actions have been noted and if a pattern of this behavior develops, their ability to buy and sell on Glyde will be impacted.

It seems like the website is still accepting the "FRIENDS" code, but not FRIEND or GLYDER

I put a couple of games up for rather high prices and one sold a few days ago. I haven't received my mailer yet but it should be here in the next couple of days.

Overall has worked out okay getting cheap games from Glyde. Okay only in that I expected some of the problems encountered, not that it makes them acceptable, but factored in, if you will.

To date I have ordered six cheap 360 games. Of those six, one is still pending shipment, one was never sent and had to eat the shipping costs like an above poster, three were as described, and one was marked "excellent", but had a rental sticker on case / no manual / and was the wrong game inside the case.

I decided to keep because after glyde's policy has the buyer pay for half of the shipping back, I would only have gotten back 5 bucks or so. The wrong game was in the same series, and I didn't have it yet on 360, so not a horrible mistake.

I will continue to pickup some cheap games this way, but I probably won't use Glyde for more expensive games, and being a cheap ass, more expensive would be used games over $20 bucks.

To their credit, when I emailed them and complained about the shipping thing, they put a credit on my account for it. That being said, I take it that it was a one-time-only thing, and that if it were to happen again I'd be out the shipping that time, so I'm still not going to do any more business with them (beyond an order to use up that credit, we'll see how that goes). Maybe it "works out ok" for some people to get screwed some percentage of the time, but not for me. If I want to gamble I'll go to a casino.

I've really enjoyed Glyde since I found it, but primarily from the selling aspect. It's really convenient to just wait for an envelope to show up, put the game in the envelope, and put the envelope in the mail. I don't know how well they take it, but it might be worth sending suggestions you have to improve their system to the c.s. department. There's a _lot_ they could do to improve, but it'd be nice to have one more usable option out there.

I've only bought one thing which was in "Good" condition and the only problem with it was Gamestop used price stickers under the plastic (why do they do that??).
