I saw a similar list floating around earlier today and it seems plausible. Shaq-fuing Brewers just gave Gag-ne a ton of money...I really hope he's not on the list. Well we'll find out in 10 minutes I suppose!

Say bye-bye to Clemens' legacy if this is legit!

I'm actually kind of surprised that Trot Nixon and Varitek are on the list...I always thought they were good guys.

many didn't think that there would be redsox in the list, due to the fact mitchell is a consultant to the redsox. He listed quite a few players, some who have spent the entire career with boston (trot nixon, jason varitek) and some who spent some time here (eric gagne, julian tavares, will cordero, dante bichette, jose canseco, paxton crawford, johnny damon (who imo looks like he started juicing since joining the yanks as his forearms have about 2x in size since he was in boston)carl everett, nomar, mo vaugh, jose offerman, jeremy giambi, rich garces and Rafaeil Bettancourt who was a sox minor league prospect, i believe a ss

does the list really do anything...there is no possible punishments given, no one was forced to testify or give names...a lot of the info gathered were from players that said " I think so and so took". It is useless, and imo will be talked about a shitload for a week and then forgotten about.

If it comfirms that they used steroids then it won't be forgtten about. They can't do anything to the players but it will hurt their legacy. It just makes the entire league look bad and will hurt the players named.

It will hurt the players named but without due process (or any real proof other than hearsay) none of it really means anything. I mean, it wouldn't shock me if those players did steroids but I kind of assume everyone does them anyway. At the end of the day I'm still going to be rooting for my favorite laundry.

A little easier on the eyes.
is there a link to the actual report? si has it, but it is getting hammered.
But, But, sports radio says no one cares about baseball anymore ;)

The list is absolutely false. There is no mention of ARod, Varitek, Damon, Nomar, Tavarez, TROT Nixon (there is a section on Otis Nixon), Mota (who is only named as background for the Lo Duca trade), Prior, Wood, or Bagwell, to name those who I searched.
I bet Mo Vaughn was sitting at home thinking "Whew! I'm glad I wasn't on there..."
lol yeah, along with Fernando Vina, Kevin Brown, and Rondell White. May be a few others on there too. Some are really hard to read.

Edit
Larry Bigbie too. But it looks like he was just paying for "dues".
vaughn is on there, maurice = mo
I know... I was being sarcastic...

How could they name Lenny Dykstra and NOT Darren Daulton?

So Roger Clemens started taking steroids with Toronto, Andy Pettitte in 02, Mo Vaughn in 01, Miguel Tejada in 03, Brian Roberts, Chuck Knoblauch, Jerry Hairston, Paul Lo Duca, Kevin Brown, Eric Gagne started ordering them through Lo Duca in 03, Troy Glaus, Paul Byrd...

Varitek NOT listed.

Dan Duquette is finally vindicated! Clemens was done until he started taking steroids. Mo Vaughn started taking them with the Angels apparently.

It's really hard to make the joke that is basebore look any worse. That sport at this point in time is a turd ready to be flushed.

That said, wait until the NFL has it's d-day.
please put a * on all of clemens hall of fame baseballs
Baseball records will never have the same prestige. I'll never really look at them the same way regardless of who owns them.

The drug problem in the NFL is nothing compared to the malpractice lawsuits that will appear once the whole post-concussion crap hits the fan

boy, jose conseco must feel pretty good right now.

I think the list of players will do nothing to baseball but dam it will screw their reputations. LoDuca apparently reffered the likes of Brown and Gagne to Radomski.

I still find it flawed, it's one guy just like Canseco, saying "I injected him, and he took this and that", while I don't disagree with it, it's just hard without visual evidence, or papers about players buying the HGH.

woah just because Nailz was doin it doesnt mean Dutch was juicing too.
woah just because Nailz was doin it doesnt mean Dutch was juicing too.
Since it's all just speculation and hearsay I just think Dutch should be in there - he fits the description: HUGE dude who went cuckoo bananas and had a few great years surrounded by a lot of mediocre ones.

I find it interesting that a lot of the players named have had severe injury problems (like Mo Vaughn), went crazy (John Rocker) or ended up dead (like Kile and Caminiti).

I think that everyody from this era who is confirmed with steroids should keep their statistics but they have a whole diffrent section in the hof from every other player
chuck knoblauch wtf who would have ever guessed

So should Palmeiro to an extent.

Remember when he said he injected Miguel Tejada and Tejada said is was B vitamins or some crap?

I agree with that guile. Remember how he got fried after that?

Also I know he was in Jose's book, but there are a lot of flaws in that book, and confirmation by a secondary source that is legit has to occur before I believe it. Anyone who read that book knows it is a horrible read and ESPN had a whole fact sheet of all the lies in it.

Palmeiro never said he injected Tejada. He said that he got some supposed B12 from Tejada and that was why he tested positive. So maybe Palmeiro got blasted for no reason.

Most of the names are hearsay and speculation, with some factual evidence.

Note that there isn't even any speculation about McGwire. Can we get this man's HOF bust ready already?

My bad for messing that up.

I heard this on WTOP news radio on my work today...

All I can say is wow, just wow....

Just wondering about all those kids who collect baseball cards and thinks these guys are their heroes only to find out they are fakes...

you think hes cuckoo, but when the mayan calender ends, and with it the world, you will be wishing you listened to Dutch

Darren Daulton = Jake Taylor?

i wonder what this list will really accomplish. are they goign to fire or fine these people? will they take the time to test everyone in all sports no tjust baseball to see if theyre abusing and using performance enhancers? could any of these people have been using things that at one point werent illegal and now are? it all just comes off like a huge smoke screen to divert attention from other things because we all know in the end nobody will do anything about it. its the biggest worst kept secret.

we all know plenty of athletes use them the competition for money and fame is too big not too. i say if you want to use them go ahead but youd better be ready to deal with the consequences out fo your own pocket. if they up and fire everyone who has or is using sports would cease all operations except for maybe professional videogaming or pig pong.
