All right everyone, sorry for the delay, but this will be our Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds online thread. Basically, the CAG Leaderboards will be here, setting up CAG golfing groups, tournaments, etc. here. The OTHER HSG thread will be used for general discussion about the game (this is strictly online and matchmaking related).

All right, I will need everyone who is interested in being apart of CAG Hot Shots Golf online to post the following info (this is an example):


I'm doing this so I can make a master list of people who play the game.

Secondly, I need you to answer a few questions. Either tell me your info was already this thread or answer the following questions:

Time Zone: EST/PST/CST/MST/etc.
Available: (Basically when you are available
Keyboard: Yes/No

To let everyone know also, I have not nailed down a final day as to when the first tournament or set of games will be (It won't be too far away hopefully). I'm not sure who the host will be yet (It may be me or someone who has unlocked everything), but I do plan to keep track of all members, announce games, keep track of leaderboards, set teams, etc.

Thank you all for posting. This will make it much easier for me to decide what nights will be best. I hope to get enough people together by late tomorrow so we can start Tuesday or Wednesday.
 
kind of excited for this I have it on rental for the next week or so. I'll probably buy it after that. This game is only $49.99 right? I'll use some points at the video store and grab it for $39.99 and will be ready to rock some hot shots golf. I am pretty damn excited for CAG golf tournaments.
 
I'll probably aim at Wednesday for the first game; however, I need to look through everyones schedules to get a good time. I don't think we'll do a tournament yet, I'm thinking of just breaking everyone up into groups and we'll play that way. Once we get at least 20 people (I figured there are 20+ people at CAG with this game, we will hold a tournament),

I know some are listed twice (because of available time), but I'll get stuff sorted. I might add another day for a slot, but right now, I just want to get groups together. If people want to swap, let me know. People can still sign up and I'll fit you into groups. If groups get too big, I'll split them up. When we get a certain number of people (either later this week or next), we'll do tournaments.

Due to short notice, nothing will be started until tomorrow. I continue to apologize to everyone because my mid-week has been hectic, but over the weekend my time will open up.
 
So are we playing this evening? I have not unlocked anything yet but I'd still like to play. If not today tomorrow works fine for me too. Thanks

Im going to have to drop out. Everyone around here is selling it for $60+tax so Im going to have to wait for a price drop. I thought it was $49.99 but apparently it isn't. I will have to rejoin at a later date. Sorry guys.
 
Hey if anyone here wants to have a small game tonight then post below with PSN ID. I'm up for a few rounds at maybe 9pm EST? I mean I'll be playing it tonight anyway, so why not enjoy with a few fellow cagers.

I'm up for a round or two. IIRC I have okinawa, highlands, and euro courses unlocked plus a couple of intermediate golfers. Look me up as "ElWeaselo" at around 6PST/9EST.

I might get on too if I get the energy. :p Right now I'm a bit tired, but I'll play more over the weekend. I haven't tried online because I'm still trying to unlock stuff (only checked out gameplay modes and so on).

OK, I'll post which lobby I'll be in closer to 9pm EST. I'll create a game where you'll need permission to join. Doesn't look like there'll be many but all CAGers welcome. I'll create the room 5-10 mins before 9 and wait until shortly after 9 to start.

I just unlocked Safari, so we'll probably to 4 different courses on 9-holes.
 
OK, this game _really_ needs voice support for online. Fortunately I have a keyboard coming, but it is a huge pain in the ass communicating with the controllers. Played a couple of rounds with StrandedBrit and Buddah, and kept timing out when trying to compliment them on nice shots... otherwise the online is pretty kickass

I'm really sorry but I probably am not going to be able to make a game tonight. I am still at the office and there is a snow storm here in Chicago so it will probably take me a bit longer to get home. I wil be ready next week!

Most of these type of games won't even bother with voice support (mostly because online gaming isn't the biggest thing in Japan).

Anyway, sorry, there will not be a game tonight. This weekend, my goal is to setup a final schedule for the game. What we will do is:

Group games once a week at 9pm EST (leaning towards Wednesday nights).
Group games once a week at 9pm PST (Not sure what day yet)
One tournament a week in the afternoon (thinking about early on a Saturday).
 
i will still play tonight. add me to yourfriends if you have room. i have been playing a lot this week. typing on cag with a controller really sucks.
 
Well, I'm actually going to go online and play myself tonight, but it will mostly be getting my feet wet. If anyone sees me on, feel free to join.

I decided, our private CAG lobby in the future will be (unless removed will be):

We'll make it the default place to meet unless things change, on CAG nights.
